Is DOTM Deluxe Prime ok? I think its a great deluxe figure. Plus, RID has a deluxe Prime out. There is also WFC and FOC deluxe Prime. Now that i think fo it, we have had as many deluxes as voyagers when it comes to Prime.

They did say G1 cartoon accurate. Tbh I kinda want the same thing except Voyager. I adore my Classics Prime but you can't quite beat the elegant, powerful yet simple original design for Optimus. It's incredibly iconic.

I agree. And yeah its kind of crazy how we never did get a G1 accurate prime in Voyager Scale.

Perhaps one day, if we're really good and ask REALLY nicely, Habro and Takara will come through for us.

Exactly. I think that his cartoon design is perfect from literally every angle. I'd love a deluxe figure that embodies that, to lead my Legends.

I was looking over BW Primal and he is very dated to me, especially how he has no wrists. For a toy of that size, the poseability isnt optimal. In comparison, Cybershark (and thus Hellsream ) have all that articulation, and even less restairined, at the deluxe class and Powerpinch does too at the basic class. And that is super impressive. That toy doesnt feel dated in the least.

I think Primal aged very well. We still get large toys without wrist articulation today(looking at Leader Seekers and Magnus). Primal is just as poseable as those guys and he seems to be better quality overall. I really love most of my old Beast Wars guys. Wait, what are we talking about again?

Solid points! But I think that the lack of wrists in those leaders you mentionned is a major step back and a negative point towards those toys.

Definitely agree. I think I originally misunderstood your point
I love my Thundercracker and Magnus, aesthetically speaking, but there is plenty about them I would change if I could.

I mean the Takara "Legends".. Arcee and the Headmasters.. along with Hasbro's Skyfire and Powerglide, and whatever other "CHUG" I own.
I have an image in my head of what I'd like and how it might transform; now if only I could create it myself... :)

We're only a month out now from the first batch of Takara Legends Headmasters now. Who's excited?

I am!
But the fact Takara already figured out MP Inferno/Grapple makes me reevaluate if I should get into the Headmasters, too. Takara is moving really fast.

Also, Hardhead's TM is in head-mode while Galvatron's isn't. Perhaps because Nebulon (or whatever his name is) doesn't technically form the complete face?

Development in the Japan Edition ginrai!!
It something considerably different from the power master op ginrai?!
Redesign of the cab, ginrai, breast changes, changes, arms and legs are different and such?!
Which seem to suggest that chest, cab, arms and legs of the figure will be modified to get close to the big robot mode, including something happening to the Titanmaster feature to accommodate the Ginrai character. Are we to see the Godbomber directly? Let us know what you think in the Energon Pub!

Yeah it could be that, but I thought it was to sell the look of this new titan master, which looks like Megatron. The head transformed as a robot is more recognizable than it just as a head.
That Bot wrote:Now I miss when Hasbro toys were packaged in alt mode.
I do too. The last time it happened was the AOE deluxe Dinobots, right?
Its odd, they've even been rereleasing many G1s in robot mode. I guess it's to differentiate themselves from other brands and it makes it easy for parent to tell that it is an action figure.

I preffer the grey on hasbro's hardhead over the brown on Takara's. Both are cool though, I am really impressed at how both companies took the same toy but modified it for it to resemble 2 different looks of the character: toy and show model. I really love when Hasbro and Takara offer different takes rather than both going for a similar look with one of them doing a better job at it.
