Thanks to Seibertron.com member Dread_Wing we finally get a look at TFC Toys upcoming Hercules figure, Heavylabor, in color. Up until now we've only seen this guy as a gray prototype. While this figure is unpainted it still gives us a much better idea of how the finished figure will look. Image from jeffyzhong's weibo page mirrored below.

This figure is scheduled for release next month. Check out our site sponsors for preorders.

Looking good even at this stage. After getting Scavenger, I have no problems completing this Devastator. Of interesting note, the thighs of Devastator are going to be purple. It looks a bit weird in Long Haul's robot mode but lets face it, who is gonna buy all 6 of these and not combine them? They could have just gone for green thighs but whatever.

Yes the guns combine into Devastators gun. As for the screw, a bit of putty over it should solve that problem. It would be awesome if we got a little plastic plug with him to cover that screw.

Regarding the guns, this pic should help:

We will end up with a purple gun and a red one.

Just pre-ordered. I love the mold, but Im a little dissappointed that Long Haul gets purple legs but Scavenger doesent. Sheesh, just keep it G1, it's a damn homage, mold and all. Also a little dissappointed that the grill and headlights arent painted. 100 bucks give me some damn chrome !!!
Re: TFC Toys Heavylabor in Color (1274219)
Posted by Bed Bugs on August 10th, 2011 @ 9:59am CDT
I'll admit, I don't really like Long Hauls purple legs. I'd much rather have the arms be purple to give him a purple dump box on Devastator's back.

As much as I like these, i cant justify the $100 price tag for each one and that's not including shipping. I'll wait to see if FP will do anything with Classics Devastator like they did with Superion and Bruticus.

While I do like it, I have to agree with Rated X that it looks rather barren. Why not chrome the grille, or at least paint it silver? Hm.

Still, it's next to certain Reprolabeles will make sticker sheets for the figures once it's all done.

Just given in to temptation, ordered Exgraver and Heavylabor from BBTS. Still disappointed by the release schedule though as I won't be able to start building anything till the 3rd figure is released. :-(

The figure in the picture is unpainted but I am sure the final production version will have some paint apps. Chrome would be nice, but not holding my breath.

Where are they at for 100$before shipping??? But i guess thats your excuse not to get them so go ahead and lie to yourself(i paid 77.90+16 in shipping and i dont even count shipping but thats me)

Where are you guys shopping where this is $100 before shipping? I got Exgraver and pre-ordered this for $91.70 shipped from RobotKingdom.

DecepticonFinishline wrote:....... His legs are purple.... Really purple.

Hopefully when it gets painted they will break up the purple a bit. I may, may mind you, repaint the lower legs green. It depends how it looks in person. Remember, there were shots of Exgraver where it looked green and blue not purple. I'm sure they will unify the colors for all 6 of them.

Very nice, for the the extent they could go. The chest is a bit of a sea of green; I'd say it's begging for some silver or dark grey, but that depends on what goes where in vehicle/limb mode.

AT BBTS and TFsource here in the states they are $97.99 each. True, Robotkingdom has it for $77.90 but with shipping to the U.S it brings the total to around $94 or so.

I was literally typing this word for word :P

Im not fond of ordering items from over seas..So my exscuse for for not ordering this item is that I don't want to pay $97+..that and Im waiting for maketoys to further reveal their version of Dev..

If you use the pile of loot at bbts, shipping gets broken down even further. I got Exgraver, Thundershred, one of the New Era Decepticon hats they got on clearance and some other stuff I've had sitting there for a few months. Shipping per item after all that is less than a dollar. Gotta love the Pile of loot!

The Pile of loot feature is great, I just shipped Jetwing prime, Thundershread, Roadbuster/dirge 2 pack and Clear protector. Shipping $9..

LIke I said the price is a contributing factor but maketoys version seems more pleasing IMO..Besides Exgraver still has close to 50 units leftover and HL has 150 units available for preorder..So its not like they are flying off the shelves..

All I can say is NEAT!

Naturally they won't be on my shelf until something like March, but it will be oddly comforting to see the rest.

Out of interest, are there any pictures of Exgraver and Heavylabor next to each other in robot mode? Just interested to see if there is a height difference, as I picture them it seems Heavylabor will be shorter but that's all in my head so I could be wrong.

TFC Toys have posted new promotional images of the next figure in their Hercules set, Heavylabor. These images reveal the figure in full color including the painted details that where absent from the initial color test shot image they previously released. The figure is also displayed with the first Hercules team member, Exgraver. Check out the new images below.

Hell yes, the only disappointing thing I can think of is the weapons which don't look much cop. But that's probably more down to the combining weapon gimmick then anything.
Re: TFC Toys Heavylabor in Color (1279015)
Posted by kirbenvost on August 20th, 2011 @ 2:50am CDT
Well, that looks even better than the last one! Really too bad I can't afford these. I'm liking the styling and colors. Very Unicron Trilogy, which is a good thing IMO.

And the whole combining gun is totally badass.

Okay, now this guy impresses me. (Well, the pics with the paint I should say)

Leaps and bounds better than Exgraver. Still not enough to get me to pony up $600.00

EDIT: Oh, I'm sorry. $587.94 before shipping, if current Exgraver pricing is extended to the other figures. My bad.

Bah.
