LeVar Burton sat down with the TCC to discuss his cartoon character and offer a behind the scenes look at Transformers: Rescue Bots. Jim Sorenson and Bill Forster bring us the first installment of the new Transformers: Animated Almanac Addendum TCC feature (with an awesome magazine cover to tie in to the new feature). MTMTE Profiles spotlighting the amazing art of Matthew Armstrong debut this issue as well. And if that wasn't enough, Flint Dille fleshes out a deleted scene from the original Transformers Animated movie, brought to life in the all-new Transformers story "A Flash Forward"! This is first time a deleted scene from the '86 movie has been illustrated in comic form and can be seen now, in Issue 43 of the Transformers Collectors' Club Magazine!

My yearning for Animated Knowledge is growing! It's almost like Animated ended to JUST to put me through misery...
Yes, I loved animated that much. Were are the Season four comics that were going to happen maybe?

While we're at it, how about Season 3 on DVD, huh? Did they forget to put that season out?

That may prove to be a stupid idea, unless they finally, finally, finally come out with a "complete series" boxed set.
I would also kill for a continuation of the series in comic form.
That would be excellent!
I never picked up the comics, as they were just a rehash of the series.
Without new content it seemed like a waste.

Though, none of this is continue the story of Animated, just doing more of what the Almanacs did (expanded the universe, but not the plot).
[quote="rpetras"]I never picked up the comics, as they were just a rehash of the series.[/quote'Not all of them were. The six-issue "Arrival" mini-series featured all new stories that took place between episodes.

*edit*
Also makes me wonder if people think the movies are the beginning of the transformers franchise?

Are you doing this on purpose? You trying be funny? Cuz you're not doing a very good job at it.acchillyaout wrote:Ok. I went back and watched the Animated Movie: Darkness Rising. Still did not find this dialog anywhere. Most of it was focused on Dark Energon. Seems like TFCC is just trying to drum up interest for their club memeberships by fabricating dialog. Am I missing something, or are you guys in cahoots with the author?

"Transformers: The Movie" released in theaters in 1986, following two years of the cartoon series "The Transformers" which is affectionately referred to today as "Transformers: Generation One".
If you've never seen the original animated film, you can see it on the evening of Saturday, February 18th on TV network "The Hub".
