TFCLUB, the makers of the Cliffjumper upgrade and the upcoming Masterpiece Starscream upgrade, seem to have hit yet another homerun for upgrade sets.
A blurry picture, and some knowledgable TFClub customer talk on TFW2005 and the Allspark, seem to relate that this is true, and the best part, that the auctions should at least start at an affordable price and that there should be enough for most of the folks who want one.
Will this set come to fruition, and be available for the common folks to get at a reasonable price? Time will tell , but it is certainly interesting to consider.
You can see the thread with blurry image here.
Note: I did not go to the original link, because folks were complaining of viruses there, like last time.
Here's an auction for the CLIFFJUMPER UPGRADE SET from TFClub.

though it's a tad bulky for my taste, here's hoping it actually transforms into a trailer. now that would make my Classics Magnus shine (and not be relegated forever known as "Naked Prime").

For an unofficial product, it's sure is expensive for an upgrade on Cliffjumper and maybe on Magnus too.

Well I'll wait till Classics Magnus or Animated Magnus comes out.
I ain't gonna dish out like... ALOT of money for that. I liked the Cliffy upgrade but it was expensive and this looks like it'll cost even more.

And with good reason, my collection is appraised and insured at $25,000 and even I cannot justify $250 + for some molded plastic parts to accessorize a $14 deluxe.

I remember when those where first anounced they where supose to be like $30 or so.
$30 is one thing, $300(squiggly L)gets in the way of my rent. For an upgrade set, I can't justify it.
I wouldn't mind a set up for Magnus though, and upgrade him to ULTRA, but we'll just have to see the mark up when it hits. Till then, he's regular Magnus.

I knew that $30 price point was a bunch of BS and wouldn't last. Why would they sell them for $30 a pop when they have been going for $150+($300+ now) on Ebay?
God only knows what that Ultra Magnus set will sell for on Ebay. I wish it would be affordable but if the price of the Cliffjumper set is ANY indication, it will be waaaaaay out of most collectors reach, financially.

I'd say it's Animated Ultramagnus...

The blurry image is of an unofficial armor upgrade for CLASSICS Ultra Magnus. There is no existing mold for Animated Ultra Magnus to put these on. If you look closely you can see the forearm 'doors' hanging off outside the armor, and a blue leg in the bottom armor.
And at Botcon, I remember HASBRO saying that there would be (finally) a separate from Optimus Prime, brand new Ultra Magnus mold, but they did not say whether it was ANIMATED or CLASSICS.

According to a poster who actually knows how to pre-order them on TFW...yes, and yes.
I assume to be able to pre-order you need to be a former customer, and they probably send out an e-mail, etc.

I can't wait for the Magnus armor either. To all those wondering, the Magnus set will NOT be limited and it will be approximately $50. Apparently "Anyone who wants one, will get one."
