the bay movies get worse and worse the more u read the comics..
im always wondering, why couldnt they do this in the movies or that etc.........
I hope one day Bay gets crushed by a garbage truck so he can never do another movie again. Hire a good director, and maybe get some of the comic guys on as writers........
then they will make 2 billion instead of 1(which i still cant believe those piles of feces made that much) and fans alike will be please......
alas a boy can dream...........
till that dream comes true, ill keep reading R.I.D AND M.T.M.T.E

rockman_fan wrote:i live like 45 minutes from the mccormick place, and god knows i want to attend, but im just not seeing the reasoning behind going. only a few voice actors there, and im still not sure of what exclusives will be there. anyone ever been to a con before? what's it like?
Con's are tons of fun. This is the first TFCon Chicago, so nobody quite knows what it will be like yet. But the fact that there is a convention in the midwest, a lot of people are anticipating on going since Botcon hasn't been in this neck of the woods in several years.
Besides the guests, the dealer room should be huge as most of the major TF dealers such as TFSource and BBTS are located in Minnesota and Wisconsin respectively, so they should both be in attendance.
Lastly, geeking out and meeting other Seibertronians and having a big party every night in Chi-town.

The 2005 Mustang Saleen 2007 Extreme S281 prototype known as Barricade used in the 2007 movie Transformers will be in attendance at TFcon Chicago 2014. There were 3 cars made for the film, with this vehicle being one of the primary camera vehicles. This Barricade was used in the scene where Shia LaBeouf was struck by the drivers side door and was knocked off his bike, as well as in the warehouse chase scene where the vehicles crash through the window.

Both had issues, but were cleared. I also have my car done up like this, sort of. Without "Police" on the doors. I got stopped once and they had me to cover up the word police on the small purple badges on the front quarter panels. Thats it. I know Transformers Cars has a nice replica of this and they purchased the Prowl car from someone on this site. I dont know if this Barricade is theirs or not.

You may remember Mr. Skir as one of the creative minds behind Transformers Beast Machines. Quite possibly one of the most polarizing pieces of Transformers history, both in terms of toys and most definitely the show.
Robert N. Skir was the Story Editor and Head Writer for the Transformers TV series Beast Machines, in his words perhaps the most polarizing series in Transformers history. Bob will be speaking at TFcon Chicago and meeting with fans all weekend.
