Rampage is redco of the Transformers Prime First Edition Deluxe Megatron mold with a new head sculpt. This figure will mail out to those with active memberships as of March 16th, 2014.
Transmutate is redeco of Transformers Prime First Edition Deluxe Arcee. According to the TFCC panel at this year's BotCon the figure will come in the typical TFCC exclusive style boxed packaging with a foam insert that will accommodate Rampage, just like their previously released Runamuck/Runabout set.
Check out the images mirrored below, which include a a head turnaround for Rampage.
RAMPAGE is the Transformers Collectors' Club FREE Membership Incentive Figure for 2014! This figure will be sent to any Transformers Collectors’ Club member whose membership is active as of March 16, 2014. RAMPAGE features an ALL-NEW head sculpt and will come with his weapon and an exclusive Tech Spec. Members can expect to receive this figure, with all of his accessories, in late spring/early summer.
It is far from obvious that inside the cheerful “Transmutate” lies a swirling maelstrom of destructive energies that could spell devastation for all those around her. While lesser robots would obsess over how they could use such power for their own personal gain, “Transmutate” focuses instead on the beauty of all she encounters. Even the mundane fills her with wonder. More then once she has removed panel overlays to study the intricate web of circuit pathways, memory buses, and diodes that make up its construction. Her interaction with other Maximals is no different, treating each new acquaintance like something to inspect. Even those often held in regard as "monsters" can bring her a moment of fascination.
TRANSMUTATE is a Deluxe sized figure and will be featured extensively in the 2014 TCC Magazine Club comic alongside RAMPAGE. The toy is packed in a convention style box with a foam insert for easy removal and display.

Because going for Gutcruncher would to much damn sense, and this is TFCC we're talking about.

I mean, Transmutate? wasn't the whole point that Transmutate could not transform, was peaceful and child like?
This is kind of silly.
Don't get me started of the lazy repaint of Warpath either. Already used twice by the club this year. Its unimaginative and lazy.

Hasbro did a legends one, maybe they're going to do a larger one down the road? Unlikely, but you never know.

Transmutate, we'll see.

Mighty tempting, this is. The price will be the deal breaker.

Really? Damn, since I don't give a shit about the comics (especially the Club comics) I guess I need to burn my Depth Charge and skip both of these then .
It may be true, but how "important" it is, to most of us, I think, is quite debatable and I guarantee that most of those of us acquiring him fully intend for him to be Protoform X from the Beast Wars show.
As for Transmutate, I've got the one that was pieced together via collecting the 10th Anniversary figures, so I'll be skipping her in all likelihood, although that paint job does look interesting on Arcee.

They will be on my shelf. The Club writes some decent fiction, but in the end it's just another BW homage.

It's kinda like how there's Optimus Prime of the G1 cartoon and Optimus Prime of the G1 Marvel Comics. They're both "G1 Optimus Primes" but different versions. Same with these guys.
Instead of being the Beast Wars Cartoon versions of these guys, they hail from a different universe that never underwent the events of the Beast Wars cartoon aside from "Depth Charge hunted down and captured Protoform X". Currently, this universe has no name beyond its universal stream designation "Primax 209.0 Gamma".
The reason the Club is making these toys is because they're going to expand upon the story revolving around the Depth Charge who came from this world.
As I find this world to be fascinating, I made a topic about it with all its known info.

That's the problem. Most of the BW cast was put out in Botcon 2006 in Pre/Post-Cybertron versions.
As much as they want to say its another side story, Depthcharge, Rampage, and Trasmutate are just filling in a void for people who have the '06 set.
Since I don't own the prior set and not inclined on paying the $1000+ membership fee to obtain it, I'll pass.

Yeah, her bio is pretty vague, but it almost seems like they did that on purpose.Wolfman Jake wrote:Sabrblade, I figure you might know this if no one else, but, where does TFCC Slipstream belong? I thought she would be a Prime character for sure, but her club bio has no details that would suggest that's true. Is she part of some new weird Prime timeline, or from some other universal steam all together?
For what reasons, I can't say. Best guesses are either they didn't want to outright say she's an Aligned character due to the still-unclear nature of the Aligned continuity's relationship with the multiverse, or they wanted to keep her home dimension unstated so fans could put her with whatever collection they feel like (Prime, Classics, Animated, etc.) without having her bio contradict those wishes.
Her only fictional appearance has been as an offworlder in Axiom Nexus, which is reflected in her bio.
TFWiki put her as the Aligned character, and she does use a Prime toy body, so the odds of her being Aligned Slipstream have those two points in their favor.
If the Club ever did state if she's meant to be Prime/Aligned Slipstream, I've either forgotten or missed them saying it.

Unless the Club said who she is at some point before.Mindmaster wrote:I'd throw her in under the Classics banner due to the fact that Transformers: Legends, while not in robot mode, uses her jet mode for her alternate mode card. Like Sabrblade says above, it really depends on the owner of the figure.
Like I said, I don't know if they have or not, and I'm not really up to looking to see if they have.

If these are indeed meant to be pre-Beast Wars characters then "Transmutate" should be able to transform as the stasis pod her protoform was in hasn't been damaged yet.

How about "Animated" Jackpot again coming up from the subscription service? I'd rather have him in my Classics display as he is another G1 Action Master homage. The mold doesn't class too much with the typical "Classics" aesthetic, but has the club officially said whether he is definitively from the Animated universe?
FYI, I've put TFCC Scourge in with my Classics display, buddied up with the other evil Optimus clone, Universe 2008 Nemesis Prime. They're gonna start a support group or something. Side Burn is already in the Neo-G1 universe via "Wings of Honor", so I don't feel bad about adding in another RID character.

He's appeared here and here (but given the nature of his second appearance, it is not known if it's exactly the same physical person, or a version of him)

I will still probably stick Jackpot in my Classics display, though.
I've got no other Animated figures, so why not, right?

This one bugs me, because Treadshot was the figure for Subscription Service 2.0 I was most looking forward to. I don't think he looks bad just... not like Treadshot. The visor is his most distinctive feature.

If you ask me, Gutcruncher is only 'obvious' because of the legends redeco. The head may not be perfect for Treadshot, but it's close enough for me, and it's the torso that really makes him the better choice than Gutcruncher. Cannon for a chest is Tready's thing, not Gutty's. Wanted this redeco ever since they announced "Treadshot" would be part of last year's Botcon set, so I'm happy at least.

I would love a proper Classics/Timelines Gutcruncher. Then I can repurpose my Classics/ROTF Sparkcruncher as Classics G1 GoBot Treds.

Update: TFCC has updated their website with Treadshot's full reveal and new details on TFSS 2.0. The molds will be coming from the Transformers Prime, Generations, and Henkei lines: 5 Deluxes, 1 Scout, plus a bonus 7th figure to be shipped out with the 6th figure. A total of 7 figures with three new head sculpts.
After the great success of the Transformers Figure Subscription Service (TFSS) 1.0, the Transformers Collectors' Club now brings you version 2.0! The TFSS is only available to active club members. This service is an optional feature and is not included in the cost of your annual Transformers Collectors’ Club (TCC) membership.
The TFSS 2.0 will consist of six different Transformers toys. You will receive six shipments starting in approximately February 2014, and then each month after that for a total of six months. Figures will be shipped in a surprise sequence (figure shipments will be the same for everyone each month) and it will also be a surprise each month as to which figure you receive! Your last shipment (6th shipment) will include a FREE mystery figure! That’s right, if you sign up for the TFSS 2.0 you will get a BONUS 7th figure! This 7th figure will never be sold in the club store. The only way to guarantee getting it is to sign up for the TFSS 2.0.
The limited edition TFSS 2.0 contains a variety of fan favorite characters from the Transformers mythos, all tied together by a great story to be told thru Transformers: Timelines. The assortment includes some very popular Generations, Henkei and Transformers: Prime molds. For 2.0 we will be offering 5 Deluxes and 1 Scout with THREE new head sculpts. You will definitely want these toys as part of your Transformers Collection. Stay tuned for more updates as the order period is scheduled to begin in mid-September of 2013.

In other words, nothing new. It's worth noting Chromedome is getting one of the presumably two new heads, and "Ironfist" is out of Hasbro's reach it seems, so they're using the anagram "Fisitron" again.
And I derped in not realising that Treadshot is a straight redeco, not a retool.
