Ryan should win. Anyone who disagrees obviously is not familiar AT ALL with this website.

Ryan would be a good choice because he can be an ultimate fan with an ultimate website who doesn't embarrass all the other fans out there. I mean, there's "fan" and then there's "fanatic." It's the fanatics that make the fans of a series look crazy. You know, those guys who go a little too far overboard and make their house look like Cybertron or dress up like Optimus Prime and make their wife dress up as Arcee ALL THE TIME and stuff. You see these for Star Trek and Star Wars; I'm sure there are ones for Transformers too. I'm like, no, you can be a fan and still be a normal human being. Unfortunately so many of these ultimate fan contests seem to like to ridicule fandom.

My vote goes to Ryan... Not only is he a true fan he deserves the prize. All Yahoo have to do is look at this site.

Bah you can dress up as a character just to have some fun. Sure some people take it way too seriously but in the end it's all just to help enjoy yourself.

Getting your wife to dress up as Arcee? Damn, I gotta get in on that.

I said the same thing in the original thread. I bet the guy that legally changed his name to Optimus Prime tries his best to get his wife to change her name to Elita-1.
I don't think it should be messured by how littered ones house is by Transformers and everything the name stands for. I think it should also messure the maturity of ones hobby and also check if it borders on a dangerous obsession. When I say that I mean they should have to use their line of credit or give up a solid family life just to say to some other people on-line that they won the most bad ass fan award.
I would also like to think of Transformers fans as the more down to earth and far "cooler" type of fans then your run of the mill comic book nerds. Unfortunate for me, almost every fan I've ever met outside of the boards is extreamly introverted and has been long since cut from the threads of social activities other then comic book conventions. My vote goes to the guy who buys a Topkick, slaps a Bot symbol on it and still looks cool before and after they get the truck. Obviously they should be judged on the size of their collection and their raw knowledge of the brand as well as all that has stemmed from it.
Kitbashers come to mind. They are the ones who really use their creative tallents to fix the "problems" a lot of the fandoms see in their toys today. Just take a look at a few of the good folks over at Transtopia, they bust their butts sculpting what they love with their hands and some careful planning.
But hey, who could forget a certain someone who won
TWO awards at last years Botcon. Clearly that guy deserves a crown of sorts
Lastly, I hope I didn't offend anyone or step on anyones toes. That's just the way I would enjoy seeing something like this judged.

I agree with Down_Shift. I would hate to see this prize be awarded to some introverted nerd because every wall of his granny flat is covered in TF wallpaper and all his shelves are loaded with TF toys in their original boxes that ne polishes on a daily basis and his cupboard is full of 89cent two minute noodles because thats all he can afford to eat while he blows the rest of his money buying TF collectables.
Sorry forgot to breath there for a while. I would edit that sentence but it would take away from the overall point I'm trying to prove.

Rats. I thought it would be a "write an essay on how you love Transformers" kind of thing. I could probably make a video with a borrowed camera, but I doubt I would have enough Transformers toys to count as a Transformers ultrafan. In fact, I don't have any yet, and I might only be able to get MP Starscream and maybe MP Megatron if I really want him. I like to THINK about them mostly, (don't worry, not to the point of unhealthy obsession) but I don't know if that would count.
