Hopefully they'll do Sideways and Sideswipe that look a little bit more screen-accurate than the RPMs! (I know, I know...Licensing and permissions and such...But still!)

oh give it a rest.
not everything transformers needs to transform. and transformers is a noun, not a verb.
these things are small and aren't even comparable to leader prime and bumblebee.. so i don't quite get your argument.
these things will be great for someones desk, or tv stand.. or anywhere really.
i personally think these are pretty cool. i'll definitely be getting prime. and i doubt it but, it would be even cooler if primes trailer swiveled.
wonder if we'll get any decepticons.

^ What he said!
I'm just wondering if they'll be in scale with each other...Then again it may be like the RPMs in that case...
Hmm...Barricade, Sideways & Soundwave are definite must-makes for Decepticons!

That's why Pretenders and Power Core Combiners were failures. Products like these are in the same category as Transformers napkins and posters--ok for collecting royalties, but not strong enough to stand on their own.
I'd have to disagree. For someone like myself who is a big diecast, as well as hot wheel collector, this fits the bill perfectly. I can't tell you how many times i've heard people wanting 1/24 or even 1/18 scale diecast of the vehicle modes for the movie transformers. We already have a couple, (Bumble Bee and side swipe) in 1/24 scale trim. I'd love to have an Ironhide, Ratchet, Bonecrusher, etc. And if the detail was there, i'd pay top dollor. But for now, these little "Hotwheel" style diecast will do just fine. Looking forward to other releases.

With the robot-mode models I can at least do something, since you know they have playability and articulation and actual detailing, while these, these just gather dust and roll their crappy little wheels.
