Possibly Cliffjumper and the generic Decepticon as well.
I would prefer their Bulkhead too, if he had a matte finish on the paint.

The line looks great, but what's the deal about the First Editions?
Are they different paint or moldwise then the regular versions?
Are there any regular versions coming out? Or is it just the first wave with a fancy extra name to sell more?

"First Edition" refers to the first nine figures coming out at this time in limited quantity. The actual mass retail main line, called "Robots in Disguise", doesn't start until March.noctorro wrote:The line looks great, but what's the deal about the First Editions?

Bumblebee and Cliffjumper will be getting whole new figures for the RID line.
Example, FE on the top with RID on the bottom

It's the official store designation for the line, like how the 2010 line had "Autobot Alliance" and Dark of the moon has "Mechtech". You'll only see it on the price cards on the pegs and shelves.

I must also say that Takara's TFP Optimus Prime is the best toy version of the character that I've seen since Buster Optimus Prime. And that's saying something.

or the first movie had the Allspark power figures, which just had slightly different paintjop and neon blue detailing

Nope, the figures you speak of were limited exclusives, and the name came from a subline imprint. I'm talking about names of main lines altogether.
