I'd like to applaud the official marketing team for managing to suck the life out of all their press releases, class descriptors, and picture blurbs.

I was digging the commercial up until Grimlock coughed up that car. But other than that, I liked that commercial.

Seibertronian SlyTF1 has let us know that tonight Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards a new Transformers: The Last Knight video was shown off, this time in the form of a 1 minute clip from the movie. This clip involves Isabela Moner's character running through a battered city block with other children attempted to escape from a human walking tank mech. The characters take cover, hiding from the mech as it leaves, only for it to be revealed that Isabela is in league with the yellowing robot that we've seen in several trailers! The video is titled "We're Covered" and can be seen on the Transformers Instagram. We've embedded a youtube video for you to view below. Just a prediction: Isabela's character is friends with the yellow bot, who dies, which leads to her tearful scene of "I want to say, and I want to fight them" from the first trailer

Bumblebee (presumably) comes in thereafter and disposes of the TRF drone.

Now that we get so see more of this yet to be named bot, it might just be me, but it almost looks like he's using an altered long haul body type.
Edit: The other trailer shown names him "Canopy" though we have yet to have an offical release for that one

I'm thinking he might possibly be Sqweeks. Maybe his spark gets transferred into the makeshift human-made body to save his life, and Isabela's character is so attached to Sqweeks because of how he almost died in front of her and she wants to protect him.

Also, I'm pretty sure in that commercial, Isabella called him "Canopy." I'm not sure if that's actually what she calls him, but that's what I hear when I watch it.

Not only do we get a new clip today for Transformers the Last Knight, but Isabella Moner also presented a new trailer at the Kids Choice Awards today and it is full of juicy new scenes. It is an exclusive trailer for the show so the video we have is being filmed from there but we can still make out what it going on quite well. We see a scene that follows the one from the clip with Canopy (the orange robot) being badly wounded, an awesome new scene with Megatron, lots of Sqweeks, childish humour with Grimlock and some more Bee vs Optimus.

Okay, so if this guy is named 'Canopy', all that rubble on him is a defining feature, not a temporary disguize. This makes a large portion of his body actually concrete and stone instead of metal. What are the chances this is a sly reference to Rock Lords?

Okay! So, it looks like they are trying harder to properly appeal to younger audiences (with... like, lots and lots of violence still). Instead of Megan Fox and the British girl (sorry, forgot her name) and Tess, we have a teenage girl who seems freakin' BA. And as a teen, I am totally okay w/ this appeal, instead of... the other appeal.

This is what Megatron should be! Not some puppet to humans or other Cybertronians. He will pick you up by your fraggin head and stare you down!

I think they meant RiD as in the current series. I'd still say he is a moron in both Animated and RiD, I was saying the Marvel and IDW comics made him a bit more cunning, while the SG universe one is outright a genius. The BW: Uprising Grimlock also has a decent amount of intellect.

CinemaCon is one of the biggest events for the movie industry - or rather, the distribution and theater/cinema showings side of it - and it looks like the 2017 edition might bring some more Paramount live-action Transformers footage with it, later this month. According to RedCarpetRefs, the company might have plans to show some footage, though we do not know if this will differ from the two new spots we just saw (here and here). On March 28th, events include a presentation highlighting the 2017 release schedule of STX Entertainment, the studio behind The Gift, Bad Moms and the upcoming The Circle. Later that day, Paramount Pictures will host a panel detailing their summer and beyond, with likely appearances by Baywatch and Transformers: The Last Knight.

Agreed. If you have to repeatedly tell people you are tough, it means you aren't. Also that whole running up to Megatron and yelling that she's not afraid thing means she's an idiot.
I feel like half this movie is going to be her doing stupid stuff and getting away with it cause others protect her dumb butt, until the end when she does something stupid that actually works. Then everyone will say that she was right and they were wrong.

Even if that was the case I would think they would end with her doing something smart after all the mistakes she made previously that's usually the more common route for that kind of character.

Yes it does. Hence the words "know beyond a doubt" in my comment instead of a more colloquial term like "guess" or "feel"

Exactly like humans in real life I mean we are on a website dedicate to a kids toy brand from a franchise that generally has bad writing and there is a reason fan is short for fanatic.

All humans are morons most of their lives doesn't mean they can't have smart moments sometimes.

No but seriously you expect something super clever and original from a franchise about quippy characterless robots. (Yes believe it or not most of the Transformers regardless of media don't even have a deep personality)

Well if Mini-Slug turns into a pistol she might be able to kick some butt with the Mini-dinos - but I have a feeling Cade is carrying a weapon they combine into - but that is just my pet theory at the mo.

I'll be interested to know what they are - the Avatar or the Dinobots or their children.

Also where is Scorn and why doesn't he have his own - mini-me I'm a trifle worried for his safety now.

Megatron has a sense of Humour if a girl tried to intimidate him (so long as she's unarmed he'd probably just laugh in her face) - unless he's still irked about being defeated by Sam so he's a bit kid-shy.

Oh and speaking of kids - I think she looks reasonably fine (she can act at least) - i'm not so sure about her 'gang' though - hopefully they will walk off frame and vanish like happens in bay Movies quite a lot. If she has good on screen rapport with Walberg then they might make a nice little story arc.

If i'm honest though - If I have any interest in this Movie it's to see what the Dinobots get up too and what is on Megatron's mind, what happens to Crazy Optimus, and I'd like to see the Dragon - other than that I'm easy.

P.s. I won't hope that Barricade is used well - as I have no confidence that Bay even know's he has a following or has a care to build him up at all... Bay is quite likely to just bump him off again... where as if they were smart they'd leave him alive as a thorn in Bumblebee's side and if they were really smart they'd establish him as a equal to him and so Bee can't ever actually beat him on his own - that would be interesting to give bee a Moriarty so to speak.

I wouldn't bet on it mind - as I don't think Bay thinks like that if he did he wouldn't have frivolously murdered the main cast in most of the Movies.
