Singapore Transformers collector rainningstorm is kind enough to share her latest haul including the Transformers 2010 Unicron and allowed Seibertron News Crew Member Mach to take photos of it.
This is a repaint version of Armada Unicron with a brand new head sculpt, to closely match the appearance of his classic Generation 1 movie counterpart.

Me too. There is just way to many new releases (TF and non-TF) right now, which are "must haves". Maybe I shouldn't have bought a new car in the spring..?

Shipping this puppy will be interesting for a lot of folks. That's going to be one big box delivered to my office.
Yes, toy box itself is HUGE..... So pretty costly I guess to ship this monster...

I'll actually be in Singapore in a few weeks. Wonder if this will fit in an overhead bin on the plane?

Hrm? Isn't that exactly what this is?

I know the difference is a bit hard to tell, but they're there:
- Armada Unicron's head is more angular, and has the dot in the middle of the helmet
- 2010 Unicron's head has more smooth curvy lines.

I don't think it's hard to tell that they're different at all in this case. This Unicron is clearly based on the 86' film.

They were to me. I've rarely been so pleased at being proven wrong.

I live in Tokyo and have always been lucky and got the exclusive releases really early - it was a holiday weekend here so that must be why it's later than normal.
Something to look forward to when he does eventually arrive I suppose.
My Energon Unicron is going up for sale on Ebay soon. No need to have 2 of the same figure, especially when he's so huge and Predaking and Masterpiece Rodimus are going to be competing for shelf space in the next 5 months!

I have had to make room as well. Not a bad idea since selling items that I do not want any longer provides financial resources for the latest releases. Especially when there are so many choice items being released in the coming months.

I've given/am going to give up :
Classics Henkei Wildrider, Dragstrip, Ultra Magnus (sold City Commander armour so no point), Acid Storm (don't like his paint at all) and Cliffjumper, Elector Disruptor LIgier (he's not really a G1 character) and Transformers Collection Soundblaster (again not really a G1 character and all of my original G1 toys that have been reissued over the last 4-5 years as there is no point having doubles or old loose jointed versions when you can have shiny, new complete ones in their boxes.
It's a good way to collect - one in one out - almost anyway. With Masterpiece Rodimus I'm going to keep Hot Rod and sell the trailer (no interest in Rodimus) so the toy will pay for itself.
Good for saving space and not spending too much cash.

I'd have to wonder on that; IS there a market for the trailer-only? I mean, that trailer only comes with Masterpiece Rodimus, it's not a separate item like with MP Prime, is it? So the only real figure it's sized for would be MP Rodimus, right? If you're buying the figure, you're buying the trailer, so where's the target audience for strictly the trailer?
Just wondering!

Though I love the Movieverse, my friend had this when I was about 10, one of the most fun TransFormers I've ever played with....plus, I love firing missiles >_>
But what with having to import it, I probably wouldn't be able to do that, and there's quite a few figures I want more.

Good point. Hasbro and Takara Tomy's releases, whether they be new figures or reissues are usually very similar so with you guys in the States getting Universe Unicron it made sense for the Japanese market to get a reissue of him too.
I'm just glad to be able to buy him new MISB instead of the loose one I bought on Ebay. If I can't buy it MISB then I'm not interested.

Hey! nice to see another Halo fan on here - why'd you pick Covenant - did some other guy take Master Chief?
Basically, it looks like the American release is going to be of the Hot Rod figure only, with no trailer because if it includes the trailer then it'll be really expensive and retailers like TRU, Target and Walmart won't touch it, especially after shelf warmers like Skywarp.
So if that's true then there should be plenty of TF fans stateside who would love to get their hands on the trailer.
If it turns out not to be true then I'm still selling it because there is a market for anything TF on Ebay and collector's sites so it'll be no problem to sell.
