If you're living in the UK and have had your eyes on some of the 2016 Platinum sets but really didn't like those price tags, you might be in luck today. Toys R Us UK's website currently has a few of them on rollback - Planet of Junk Clash (featuring Hot Rod, Wreck-Gar and Scrapheap) and Armada of Cyclonus (featuring translucent versions of Cyclonus, Scourge and a Sweep) are both down to £60. In particular however, the Autobot Heroes boxset (featuring Ultra Magnus, Springer, Arcee, Kup and Blurr) is down from £200 to £140. Check out the links below if you're interested and happy shopping!

aw, I mentioned the Autobot Heroes pack being that price a few weeks ago (but think maybe i forgot to mention it was toys r us). Had me clicking this thinking it was cheaper. Still probably cheaper to import the set from the US when they have it on sale (sometimes works out about £65 before shipping)

Kapow sale currently has that scourge cyclonus set for £30. They did have the autobot hero pack but that seemed to go very quick.

Couple of bits,

Firstly smyths had blitzwing on the advert yesterday for transformers generations, but the page wouldn't load, don't know if f an update is coming.

Secondly did you guys know target now has an international online store. The platinum heroes pack (Magnus, oil, springer etc) is on there for £70

They have 4 delivery options, 3 you pay taxes there and then, the other pay on arrival (or hope it slips through).

Not sure on the prices, but they could charge £50 and it would still turn out cheaper
Re: Toys R Us UK sales on Platinum sets (1879935)

Whacked the platinum Magnus, Arcee, Kup, etc set into my cart and clicked through to checkout to investigate shipping rates:
"Postal" takes a few weeks to deliver, costs £13 and you pay taxes on arrival
"Standard" takes a fortnight, you pay taxes upfront and are looking at £13 shipping AND £13 tax
DHL get it done pretty quick (about a week) but charge close to £20 with about £15 tax (or taxes on arrival)
I assume it'll vary a bit depending on size/weight but I think that platinum set is probably one of the biggest boxes to ship TF-wise

Honestly I was expecting worse! Not gonna actually buy anything (yet, at least) but it's a legitimately viable option especially being so much cheaper on the big ticket items
Weirdly, that platinum set was one of the few things the site allowed me to add to the cart. Guessing there's a lot out of stock or not valid for international shipping but nothing was marked as such...

EDIT: Just spotted they've got a code UKSHIP for £15 off UK shipping when spending £70 or more. Wonder if it still counts if it would reduced the shipping to 0? :-?

While their prices are usually nothing to write home about, UK retailer A1 Toys has put on an insane flash deal for a few G1 Platinum sets - the Decepticon Seeker Squadron and Autobot Intel Ops sets are going for £39.99 each, while the Insecticon and Triple Changers sets go for even lower at £19.99! If you're in the UK and interested in some G1 goodness, you'd best hurry as A1's Twitter says that this sale only lasts for this weekend. Click on the image below if you're interested, but be sure to make your decision quick!

Is there any differences in the decals or colours on the Conehead Reissues to previously released versions of the same toys ?

Like with Thrust's launchers or the stickers for example.

Not UK per se, but ships here and is hard enough to come by cheaply.

Unite Warriors Bruticus £20.68 free postage

Looks suspiciously/insanely cheap - I paid well over £100 for mine (well worth it).

If it's legit, it's an absolute bargain.

Hey all. I'm from the US and visiting London in about 2 months time. I'm assuming the exchange rate will likely discourage me from buying any TFs in the UK over the US. However, just wondering if there any cool toy stores that are worth a visit, TFs or non-TFs? I'll be staying near Canary Wharf, and would rather not go too far unless it was truly worth it or near another major tourist attraction. Thanks!

It's acon. 0 feedback? And the Facebook sales thread have reported cheap deals from China for 20 quid and all that turned up were beads.

Beads? Ah, well, have to admit it's not entirely surprising. Hope they're nice beads at least.

Found TLK Turbo Changers, Tiny Turbo Changers and Legions at Toytown; as well as RiD Combiner Force Crash Combiners and Mini-Con partners. All appear to be just Wave 1; didn't get a picture of the TTCs as they were just at the last second at the shop counter - sorry :(

Also, they had CW Wave 4 Deluxes on sale at £10 and CW Wave 5 Voyagers on sale at £17. Which certainly makes the price of the new stuff look even more rip-offy...

Wave 5 Voyagers

Wave 5 Leader

Siege on Cybertron boxset

No Ramhorn in sight, though. Odd.

Btw i checked a local Asda, Tesco, Sainsburies & Smyths Toys but no sign of TR Wave 4(of which Topspin is part of) anywhere to be found :(

although i did spot TR Legends Brawn & Roadburn(NOT Cliffjumper/Hubcap)**& NO! i don't have a pic...but i'm sure that your friendly neighbourhood TFW2005 will have evidence of those**

Thanks. I was in the Nottingham one yesterday and there was pretty much nothing tf related. One giant movie grimlock, a couple of.... things based on g1 grimlock and constructicons, no idea what it was, just super deformed figures and that was it. I'll just wait till TFN.

Not sure if this will help anyone or not but Toy Town in Leeds (not sure if the shop is nationwide) has the combiner wars with comics sunstreaker, prowl, iron hide and mirage for £9.99 Each. Picked some up in case I ever get around to completing Magnaboss.

This definitely falls in the not helpful at all category, but I found it interesting. Sightseeing in London and stopped by Harrods. They had quit a selection of TFs. TR Megs, Hot Rod, Gnaw, soundwave, among others. Damn expensive, but nice selection.

I haven't been to London in years, and even then I don't think I actually bought anything in London -apart from the Sweeney Todd Novel from a bookshop on fleet street :). Not sure what/where the speciality shops are but the main shops like toysrus/smyths are lacking any new titans returns figures and shelf space is getting smaller due to the Bay tat/live action stuff but even that is pretty sparse.
they will have a forbidden planet in London (Leeds one never ever has transformers) but expect prices to be near Harrods anyways knowing them :P

They've also got titans return overlord listed at £46 (seems a good price compared to elsewhere) and blitzwing/octane for titans return due august but as they delisted TR sky shadow and TR broadside after they were on the website for months and never instore, I wouldn't be betting on them stocking anything until it's purchasable.
I found a few six shots in Leeds forbidden Planet (I was wrong o.O) at £55 which I've begrudgingly paid as it was more than i got the g1 for and the figure doesn't technically have a gun mode :9 (feels too flimsy holding it by the wings and its not on the instructions unless you count a weird upside down version of it for the headmaster to sit in).

Fellow UK Seibertronians blackeyedprime and Rodimus277 have taken a look at the Smyths website - a regular source of Transformers news for us - and spotted some new listings for soon to be released figures!

Though not available for delivery yet, and probably only shortly arriving in actual stock, these include Titans Return Octane and Blitzwing, plus a brief glimpse of Overlord at the time of writing (but not fast enough to include a screenshot, sorry!), and a number of Transformers: The Last Knight figures, such as Voyagers Nitro and Scorn, Leader Dragonstorm, and the AllSpark Tech line's Optimus, Hound, Barricade, and Bumblebee - and a fair few price reductions on Voyagers, Deluxes and more from the Premier Edition line! Check them out here.

The Leaders are way too expensive but at least their voyagers and deluxes are on sale at at normal price.

Funny I keep seeing the first Titans Return Scattershot for £10 at lots of shops. They just can't seem to shift that thing now. :P

Spotted Titans Returns Trypticon at Smyth's Toys, Glasgow Fort, Easterhouse, Glasgow, Scotland(didn't bother getting him as preordered the Takara one from Kapow), they also still have a few Computrons left as well ;)

the downside is.....no sign of any TLK TTC Wave 2's anywhere(in Glasgow/Ayrshire, Scotland) bah!!!! :-x

20 quid for TWO voyagers is a hell of a good deal especially when one voyager is usually about £24 on it's own. If I wasn't fed up with Titans Return and focussing mainly on TLK I'd go for that. I wonder if I could get away with using Alpha Trion as a knight...

And.. hm Scrounge... if i bought that computron and kept scrounge would i get my £70 back in selling off the technobots i wonder...

Exactly, man! It's just too good. They're also selling Astrotrain singularly for £11 and his Sentinel (p)re-deco for £15. If I was able to I'd so jump on said Sentinel...

Can't say I like that Sentinel much (hurts my eyes to even look at it, somehow it has a bland design with an overly bright colour scheme at the same time)

Oh Alpha Trion is £10.99 by itself too! Tempted! Could paint him silver and call him Lionheart or something regal. :D

CW Onslaught is only £10 and i was tempted even just for nostalgia cos I had Bruticus as a kid and often carried Onslaught and Brawl with me for some reason.

That platinum autobot heroes five pack is just £70. Used to see that for about £200. And Toys R Us knocked it down to £130 so 70 is by far cheapest I've seen it here. Shame I'm not looking for it anymore. But yeah Kapow is very good. Despite some trouble with my previous order (TLK Voyager Megatron arrived fast and perfect way before a lot of people elsewhere had got him, but the Titans Legend Bumblebee which was meant to come in that order...well that was a different story and took a couple weeks to resolve) :P

ugh i've spent too much recently. i'm longterm unemployed, i can't be buying toys all the time. :O

JSA still exists for almost a year more for some, depending on peoples situations. I got made redundant recently, new job lined up so I won't be on JSA for much longer tho. That's how I was justifying trypticon but local Smyths didnt have it in (£5 off £25+ spend ends tomorrow). might try another Smyths tomorrow or take it as a sign that I should pick up Fanstoys Sludge from Kapow to complete my dinobots and wait and see if Trypticon gets reduced down the line (if it doesnt get recalled from leg breakages if it really as bad as the early review video said).
On a side note they no longer have Overlord listed on their website too :(

Asda (Pudsey) has TR Perceptor, TR Krok, TR Kup, TR Quake deluxes in so it could be worth checking your locals if you are after them £18.99 (Krok doesnt have a loose leg like the orig mould but his tail weapon post snapped on mine on first transformation/pulling out of hand). might pick TR Kup up at some point for the toy deco but at those prices I might as well go for the Takara versions instead.

Bleh. Went TLK hunting in Cambridge. Argos is still only place that has Wave 2 Deluxes but they're £24.99. Toys R Us still just has Wave 1 TLK and wave 3 Titans both with price reductions but nothing I needed.

TK Maxx has Titans Soundwave for £19.99 down from about £49.99. I passed on it cos it's way too large, ugly, blocky and dorky but someone else might like it.
DSC_0004 (27).jpg

B&M have Leader Starscream and Skywarp for £24.99 each if yer still looking for those. They used to retail for about £49.99 too.

I came home empty handed. EMPTY HANDS! karate!

I was hoping for a cheap Steelbane to tighten up or a tiny Sqweeks but there's no wave 2 tiny turbos yet. Only 'new' thing I saw was Toys R Us had the radio control Sqweeks but that's too much monies for me.

Aw man, wish I would find such bargains here... They still sell shelfwarmers from C.W. for the original price here >:( shops here have NO clue.

Got my soundwave from Kapow for £24,99 which I thought was supercheap lol. *sigh*

Do B&M ship to the Netherlands?

PS: did you know B&M is selling Combiner Wars KO's?? lol:

I wonder if they combine well xD

That red ambulance would make a great conversion for a better Ironhide van instead of the pickup he is now... Hmmmm. I'd actually like to get my hands on this...
