Transformers.com 3-D DOTM Content Update

Posted by El Duque Mar 8, 2011 at 3:57pm CST 50,151 views
Here's a further update to yesterday's story regarding the 3-D DOTM content on Hasbro's Official Transformers Website. They will be using it as a vehicle to show off their upcoming Transformers DOTM figures. Today they added an Anaglyph 3-D image of DOTM Voyager Optimus Prime. The feature also allows users to view the figure in both robot and vehicle modes complete with transforming sound effects. They will be revealing a new figure every week!

Because 3D is new again. You can also turn off the 3d effect if you want to watch the figures transform without glasses.

Go dig those 3-D glasses that came with your DOTM Preview Cyberverse Optimus Prime out of the closet. Hasbro has updated the Mechtech 3D Toy Viewer on their Official Transformers Toy Website with this week's entry, Deluxe MechTech Bumblebee. We also get a snazzy new render of DOTM Bumblebee on the homepage.

I already checked this out and I'm really impressed with the figure, although I haven't used my 3D on the Bee figure yet.

And by the way, the CGI model of Bee shown is still the ROTF version, not the DOTM one.

I can't even tell where his eyes are supposed to be, or if they are where I think they are, his head looks stupidly large/long.
Cool to see the stop motion transformations. You can spam the button to make them dance, hehe.
