Woops, I meant Hound.

Also in the video, when you see this vehicle, it briefly scrolls down and you can see it has "Titans" written on the side. I couldn't pause it in time to screen-shot it though.

The giant black cylindrical disk thing with Cybertronian-like writing.

Whatever it is, it's Cybertronian. Also, that thing they're standing in front of in that shot does look awfully like a metal pyramid, right? Maybe that shot is on Cybertron? Or maybe it's a lost Cybertronian city? Whatever the case, it sure does remind me of the Giza pyramid machine thing from RotF that the Fallen was trying to use to harvest the sun. (I dunno what it was called, and I don't care.) I sure hope we don't get any more deserts.

You mean...the Solar Harvester? Wouldn't that have been easier to type than parentheses and a whole sentence?

I was mostly just busting chops. But technically, the sun is a star, and Harvester is more than 50% of the name, so you're not entirely wrong.
Posted by Sabrblade on August 25th, 2016 @ 9:01am CDT
It's more that I inadvertently created a term that was passed off as official when, in reality, the term was product of my delirious imagination misremembering a name that never existed in the movie that my mind had, at the time, been deluded into thinking was indeed given in that movie. And now whenever I see that term resurface, I can't help but feel haunted by it.Nemesis Maximo wrote:Sabrblade wrote:"Star Harvester" or "Great Machine" ("Solar Harvester" was an error of my own fault that still haunts me every time it crops up ).Nemesis Maximo wrote:You mean...the Solar Harvester? Just shows how brain-damaging the ROTF movie was.

Kinda weird for a 'Con in Bayformers to pick that as an alt mode to me, but I seem to recall DotM had a garbage truck and pickup truck being picked. It's not either a super sports car or government/military vehicle of impending death.

Erm...haven't you even watched the previous movies? coz one of them had scenes almost identical to Ultimate Doom & Megatrons Master Plan! so Bay must've seen those to incorporate that into the movie

In any case do these recent pics lend any more credence to Merlin being in this? 'Cos that's weird. And may possibly be the most likable thing about the movies so far

First, according to his Instagram, Michael Bay has a new camera! This one's special because it's been custom built for him by the camera company RED! It's got some cool details, including a special TF5 Megatron medallion on the side! He's shared a video of him using it on a Victoria's Secret Campaign he's currently working on in Paris! Do you think he'll use it for The Last Knight? Check it out below!
-----------Video goes here----------------
Next, we've got a bunch of new photo and video from the Transformers set on the Isle of Skye, in Scotland, that we reported on earlier. These new angles come to us from Buchanan Photos, and Michael Bay's Instagram. The photos show that same actor (who is speculated to be Merlin, as per the rumors) riding his horse across the Isle, with more helicopter shots, as well as some pictures of the crew, and a better look at staff that may or may not be a little alien in origin...
The video, on the other hand, shows Michael Bay on location in Scotland (wearing a pretty cool hat, if I do say so myself), showing just how scenic it is up there.
--------second video here------------
So, what do you think of the filming in Scotland? Does it confirm the Arthurian rumors going around? If it's true, what other rumors do you think are legit? Let us know in the comments! And, as always, keep your optics and audio sensors tuned to Seibertron.com!

The filming is set to include a crew of 50 or 60 people, which is larger than the crew currently in Scotland, but none of the Actors themselves are set to appear yet. After Norway, the next stop for filming will be back west, to London, England! It's interesting how the filming has had such a specific focus on London.
The filming in Norway will take place anytime after October 2nd, so be sure to watch Seibertron.com for updates and set photos!
What do you think they're going to film in Norway? Other Transformers fans have noted that you can easily see the northern lights very often in Norway...Will that play into the movie in any way? What actors do you think will be appearing? What about Sir Anthony Hopkins? He joined the cast a while ago, but has yet to make an appearance on set (as far as we know). Leave your thoughts in the comments below!

Can't believe they are doing the King Arthur thing actually and in talks to cast someone that played the role in something entirely unrelated. I hope it doesn't suck. Likely it'll be controversial for the fandom though.

I honestly haven't even watched OUAT mostly due to the fact I've been binging on Arrow, The Flash, and Transformers Animated (which I'm super glad I gave it another chance as suggested) as of late. I keep putting it off, but I probably should hop on it. Twatwaffle is also a creative insult. I'll have to add that to my repertoire.

I'm going to guess this as the most likely scenario all the films in the first 2/5 minutes have a flash back to a long time ago.

Which would mean it draws just as much inspiration from the first TF UK comic arc, "Man of Iron", as "A Decepticon Raider In King Arthur's Court".Sabrblade wrote:It's also possible that, instead of any time travel, all the Arthurian scenes take place entirely in flashbacks. And it's about time. Because when I first heard Bay watched every episode of the G1 cartoon, but nothing about comics, I asked myself, if I was able to recommend just one comic story to him to research, what would it be? Man of Iron, no question. It may not have contributed anything enduring to the mythos (partly because it's an awkward fit in Marvel continuity), but it always felt more like the comic adaptation of a British TF movie that didn't quite get made in 1985. Well, now that movie will actually sort of exist, and I can't complain about that.
It was also the first story to play with the 4-million-year gap, and considering all 4 Bay films have done some variation on that to try and ground the story's stakes in Earth history, it's just a natural fit.
And if he leaves Lancelot and the round table out of the story (as they surely won't have time to stop off in France), TF:TLK will be a tad more historically accurate than most movies involving King Arthur, FWIW.

This leaves us a number of options: Merlin travels through time; Merlin reincarnates; this rumour is entirely unfounded; there is a mistake on Mashable; it's just a guy named Merlin. Let us know what you make of it in the Energon Pub!
Mark Wahlberg stars alongside Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Isabela Moner, Laura Haddock, Jerrod Carmichael, Gil Birmingham and Anthony Hopkins. Santiago Cabrera will co-star as Merlin, and many of your favorite Autobots and Decepticons will return as well.
