Also, I've seen many sites where they put something on "sale" and it's either 0% off or 1$ off (of something that is expensive). Just to slap the "sale" label and to put the price in shiny red. Who fall for such tactics?

I live in a pretty largely populated area, and never even saw a Metroplex at retail, and lord knows I tried, even used other peoples Costco memberships to get in stores & try to find one. This would have been the toy that broke my long streak of non-collecting, but it took another 3 years since Metroplex was never found. Not saying that TR Fort Max is a shelf warmer by any means, but he certainly isn't as hard to find, seems like Hasbro produced way more of FM than Metroplex.

I wasn't even collecting 3 years ago, and didn't even know about BBTS...maybe stores should have had them in stock, to a reasonable degree, so that the average person could just buy them? And I'm not sure what "those people" is referring to...but I like to purchase items unused because its been my experience that people tend to not take care of their stuff.
