Transformers: The Last Knight Infernocus and Quintessa at US Retail

Posted by Va'al Aug 4, 2017 at 2:11am CDT 19,322 views
After Canada, and everywhere else in the world apparently, we now have a US sighting for Transformers: The Last Knight's Infernocus with Quintessa - courtesy of Seibertronian Bumblebee21 and the Toys'R'Us store at Millenia Mall in Orlando, Florida! The set is an exclusive to the store, part of the Mission to Cybertron sub-line, but at least we know it's out there now.

If you come across this or any other new figure, make sure to use the Sightings Database to help out fellow fans on their hunt!

The official dragons look like some cheapo, unpainted test-shot or KO. I think I'll wait for a much better, oversized KO by Wei Jiang to come out. After their TLK Megatron OSKO, and their recent "Nemsis/Black Dinobots", I am SURE they will release the dragons in a bigger size, with die-cast and probably in red, black and other smexy recolours.

Film-verse Bast Wars Megatron!

I know I know, Europe in general is pretty much not going to see these - Italy definitely not, as we have no Toys'R'Us.

That's why I left the UK and live in Japan, with American friends. The UK is line the third world for Transformers...

Trust me, Italy has even worse distribution, given that Hasbro Europe (different from Hasbro UK because the UK are a bunch of self-important egocentrics) doesn't acknowledge that we exist as a country in the general blueprint, and forget that TRU does not exist in Italy.

I'm with you on that one. Beside, It's been confirmed that leader class TLK toys cost 75$CAN plus taxes!

To compare, leaders at TrU were always 60$CAN, including Titan Return and those Titan Return leaders are still 55$CAN at Walmart. So, for 75$CAN, I don't think I'll have my money's worth.

I'll wait and see for the Weijiang option as well.

Finally found Leader Megatron (Target) and Voyager Nitro (Wal-Mart). Wanted both but... sacrifices have to be made.

Nitro looks great with Skytread though!

Dragonstorm looks interestingly engineered but dear god that colourscheme suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks. If I get him he'll be getting the airbrush treatment.

Voyager Nitro is hands down the best movie toy in awhile. Love the headmaster slot and working cockpit

Depends on what you want from your megs...

Voyager is intuitive, and everything is in better proportion (especially the cannon). The jet mode is great as well, it has a satisfying transformation, and the poseability is better than the leader (double jointed neck where the leader has none, and the cannon won't weigh the arm down or throw off it's center of gravity as it is massive) plus, he scales better with the other decepticons too.

The leader is bigger, and more kibble free than the voyager, but he only has a neck swivel, and his face is kind of malformed and hideous, and you are either stuck with gorilla-arm syndrome, or wrist cavities that look like you could go spelunking in them. On the other hand, his jet mode is splendid and massive and makes for a great display piece with the fire add-ons, his automorphing face is pretty neat, and his sword is gorgeous. But, his cannon is hilariously miss-proportioned, and it is a massive chunk of dense kibble that's slung onto his arm and might interfere with his poseability.

Overall, if you can find the voyager, I'd say go for that one, if you're okay with (or don't see) the shortcomings of the leader, get that one; hope this helps ;)^

Thanks. I think I watched all the review videos for both figures and you pretty much summed it up. I'm leaning toward the voyager but dang that leader jet figure looks amazing.

I think the voyager is the best option simply because only the voyager class is a constant among ALL the Movie lines. I make for a very awesome display.

Still, appart space an money, nothing stop you from getting both leader and voyager TLK Megs. Both are significantly different enough to be worth it.

I may buy a Leader myself, but only if it's on sale. No way I'm gonna pay 86.25$CAN for this.

The upcoming Transformers The Last Knight Leader Class Dragonstorm is one of the figures people are most looking forward to in the last waves of the TLK toyline, and we now have a couple of videos that give a better look at the figure. One of them is an Asian-language full video review that shows off the packaging, the dragon mode, and the individual robots, and it tops off at just under an hour long.
The other video comes to us via YouTube channel Pancrazi,
and through a tip from Seibertronian Kotori_Sonoda. It's an English video detailing a major flaw in some of the Dragonstorm toys. It's unknown if it affects all figures, but it is definitely something to look out for when considering purchasing the Dragon duo-con. Check out both videos below!
