All I need to know is if one Wreck-Gar can ride another one in bike form

Might just be my favorite Generations figure! Totally in love! This will be the first Generations that i won't wait to show up in local retail to buy!

ok im crappin my pants. that wreck gar is amazing. perceptor looks cools but he kinda looks like a gijoe vehicle cuz of the half tank, tires thing hes got goin on. they both will be mine though.

After looking at the figure a bit longer, there is no doubt in my mind that two of these bad boys can do their motorcycle trick! This will break one of my rules, but I am totally getting two of this mold!!!!

what would be really cool is if they had different faces or something to make haveing two of them wont look like exact twins.

ok the axe thing is cool, but what part of the bike is it. it looks kinda like the rims, but it looks too big to fit. man i cant wait to see alt mode. this dude looks awesomes.

Generations may be the first line where I buy EVERYTHING....

i just shat meself definately buying that i love the character and the fact he has been voiced by 2 of my favorite singer/songwriters eric idle and wierd al i shall look on the bright side of life and dare to be stupid by buying 1 or 2 of those ,do i creep you out by doing that

generations is by far my fave line. i just wish they launched more war for cybertron stuff. so far there have been just 4. i hope they release more, really wanted a starscream!

Guysm look at his crotchplate, then look at the left leg. There's two pegs pointing down, and two correspondig holes for said pegs in the seat cushion

i still have to get the current releases from the generations line and will hold off on buying figures from other lines that i might include (e.g terradive)

perceptor might have benefitted from a better alt mode but i won't complain

if wreck garr's alt mode is half as good as his robot mode they'll have a hit on their hands.. i display all my classics in robot form so this is 100% purchase

Looks great, definite buy. Will buy a FP version too. From what I can figure, the axe is the exhaust for the bike alone with perphaps a brake disc. I also see one of the clip pieces attached to the back of it, that way Brimstone can use it.

This is like fried gold served up on a red-head's cleavage. Yum.

I'm sure Wreck-Gar will be able to ride himself, not only bec. of the pegs someone spotted on him, but with such a great replica of a truly throw-back G1 character, you know Hasbro is going to make that possible. Plus, most of the Deluxe bikes can ride each other- TFA Prowl and Movie Arcee, for example.

Looks great to me! I didn't know what to expect from the alt mode, but I think it works very well!

Everything looks good but the shoulder wheel.

Once again Hasbro fail to work out what to do with bike parts.

Wreck-Gar has the excuse of being a Junkion, so it's fair game

Definitely exceeds my expectations. Not the world's biggest Wreck-Gar fan, but he's definitely shaping up to be a great figure. And I missed out on Animated Wreck-Gar, so this will be a welcome addition to my collection.

And I'm really liking Perceptor's Alt Mode. Call me crazy, but I've never been a fan of things with such small Alt Modes like microscopes or stereos or cameras.

I dig Perceptor's halftrack SUV look! I want to see the robot mode now

Wreck-Gar is amazing. Looks to have a rather complex transformation too.

His left leg is his seat and rear wheel.

His right leg is the windshield and nosepiece.

His left shoulder is the front wheel, and his torso is hinged to form the gas tank and engine.

So, he unfolds like a book at the torso, things swing and spin around, all to lock in place.

So, he looks good, his transformation will be satisfying, and he's G1ish and will fit the Neo-G1 toys. (FP's offerings included)

He's a definite buy. No ifs, ands, or buts.

EDIT: Not impressed with Perceptor. I don't like his alt mode being changed (though I understand their need for updating), I didn't like the robot mode shown at the convention, and he just doesn't impress me.

This is why I went and bought the G1 Commemorative Edition from TRU. I wasn't going to, but he was only $25.00 (clearance) and aside from limited articulation, he actually looks pretty good with FP's stuff and Valkyrie. I was impressed by how he looked with them. I'll stick with the reissue. The Generations version is a pass.

Wreck-Gar's bot mode looks very cool but I'll reserve judgment until I see the alt mode. I like Perceptor's alt mode(it's all about the front tires and rear treads) and I hope we get a better look at the bot mode soon.

The only thing about this news that I'm not so thrilled about is the very likely scenario that the final Wreck-Gar toy will have grey plastic rather than the nice metallic paint job shown on this promo photo.
