Personally, I've found comic bearing CW Deluxe's at a local Wal-Mart (Wave 4) but it may have been in error? They're the ones I bought and I haven't seen them since. Just cause they're pictured here doesn't mean these fellas will be packin comics though *shrug*.

So you may remember that my Blades suffered a nasty case of broken 5mm port not too long ago. Well, now my Alpha Bravo is on the road to suffering the same fate. I went to put him on Defensor to temporarily replace Blades, and discovered to my horror a large hairline crack running down the side of the socket!

It appears the mold is fundamentally flawed. Comparing it to my other CW figures, it seems this mold has a particularly thin wall on the port, which makes it prone to cracking.

It's certainly put a dampener on my anticipation for UW Bruticus, given that Vortex is made from the same mold.

TLDR: Don't buy the CW helicopters.

I just checked mine, and you're right, it's cracking. This does not bode well.

Ugh, it seems the Combiner Wars line is just riddled with small flaws, makes me somewhat happy for skipping it altogether despite my overall love for combining robots. Loose joints I can handle somewhat, it's cracking joints that really gets me. Really doesn't do my paranoia for breaking or otherwise damaging figures any favors...

I don't suppose anyone knows how to contact Takara do they? I want to bring this to their attention before UW Bruticus comes out, so they have a chance to fix it for Vortex.

See, this makes we want Quickslinger more than I already do. Shame that it would be more worth it to buy the whole UW or G2 Superion than just CW Quickslinger on his own.

I haven't noticed any cracks in my helicoptors and I was just messing around with them a few days ago. I also finally found my perfect combination for Cyclonus (don't have pics, forget to take before I left, so they'll come next week) with Trailbreaker as the right arm, Hound at left, Smokescreen as a left leg and mirage as a right leg. And the colors really work with him too. Really rich color scheme!

Hi guys! Would it be too much to ask for suggestions on a galvatronus limb combination? It would be great if you posted photos of them as well!

If you can't afford to get Takara's Grand Galvatron, I find that the Combaticon limbs look very good on him.

Depends on what you think looks good, if you don't mind mixing allegiances, the aerialbots look nice, and you can even mix then in with blast-off and vortex; otherwise, I have him sporting the stunticons. Personally, I really like the reverse combaticon line up, with brawl and swindle as arms, and blast-off and vortex as legs

With Galvatronus' bio you can mix allegiances anyway
