The most awesome thing about Wheeljack was his G1 TOY face. Why do they have to ruin it? Why can't an awesome robot design remain an awesome robot design? Doesn't the Transformers franchise already have enough characters with human faces? If they gave Shockwave a human face all the fans would raise hell. It would be worse than WWIII.

His face looks fine man just think of it as being what's under his face mask, Grimlock hasn't really put on his face mask in the show either but we know he has one.
Nothing's ruined, Cyberverse didn't time travel in the past and rip off Wheeljack's plate from his face and retcon his original design and murder your family, you seem to take some stuff about the franchise way too seriously since many posts of yours seem to be a temper tantrum over things you don't personally like, not that there's anything wrong with not liking things but there is definitely a better way to handle expressing such dislike.

You do realise you can voice your opinion without coming across as a complete and total asshole yeah?
Try it some time.

On one hand, we have a toy line that is simplistic and really aimed at younger kids.
On the other hand, we have a cartoon series that has the main bad guy as a MASS MURDERER.
And I'm not a fan of Jetfire's voice. Sky Byte works perfectly but Jetfire's? Bring back the Aussie or Pommy accent, those ones were better.

I'm genuinely surprised at the body count and darker moments in well...this show, It's actually a little surreal.
Also yes Aussie Jetfire was like the coolest character, I miss the guy so badly I even made up head canon stuff with Cybertron Jetfire being his own character named...well Jetfire while G1 Jetfire has the Skyfire name just to have an excuse to have both of them in my universal collection.

Sabrblade wrote:Man, Bludgeon is so cool in this show that it made me go on eBay and order the Warrior class one from RID 2015 as a stand-in until he ever gets his own Cyberverse toy.
How much did that set you back?

Eh, not enough to do any real harm. I'd recently already been making some pretty big purchases on eBay, anyway, so this one was a breeze by comparison.chuckdawg1999 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Man, Bludgeon is so cool in this show that it made me go on eBay and order the Warrior class one from RID 2015 as a stand-in until he ever gets his own Cyberverse toy.

That's brilliant. makes me glad i got him at the time

Yeah, like, the RID Warrior one is really close to how he ended up looking in Cyberverse, right down to his having two cannons on his back when most Bludgeons have only one.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Man, Bludgeon is so cool in this show that it made me go on eBay and order the Warrior class one from RID 2015 as a stand-in until he ever gets his own Cyberverse toy.

And he's totally this show's Snake Eyes, but ruthless and EVIL!

Seems more like a generic background character to me.

That is without a doubt the RiD Bludgeon, nice!
And lest we forget, this is the first time Bludgeon has been in a cartoon!

I wouldn't recommend skipping episodes, since this series has a serialized narrative.chuckdawg1999 wrote:For whatever reason Spectrum on-demand isn't letting me watch episode 5 but I was able to watch 1-4 and 6.

I mean, it made you believe that the Bots and Cons could put aside their differences and make peace, then showed how the tiniest misunderstanding could shatter it, and did it all on a level that kids could understand and adults could find credible. And all this relied on the creative team perfectly understanding every one of their characters, most of which didn't get a ton of development last season.
Then it topped everything off with a Windblade/Bludgeon swordfight, the battle I somehow never saw coming when the latter showed up a few eps back, but worked so perfectly it was fangasmic!
Heck, this even gives me hope that the spark-armor gimmick will pay off storywise, after its rather clunky introduction. The more intriguing application of the Allspark/Vector Sigma combo is the Scraplets. Are they supposed to contain the Prime-Master cores that the wretched POTP Machinima series failed to even mention? I'm actually tempted to watch ahead of CN's broadcast schedule for once!

Kinda like back when people initially thought Steelbane and Skullitron from TLK were gonna be Decepticons. Sometimes good guys can look fearsome.durroth wrote:thunderhowl looks more like a bear than a wolf to me, but I like him... am a bit surprised he's an autobot though, all the signals he gives off are Decepticon

Right I see what was throwing me off, the yellow should be blue and the head is different (appears to be a closed helm while cartoon model you can see the face.) I prefer the blue version myself.

Would be interesting to have Iacon city be a titan.

Iaconus has a toy listing, so I'm hoping he ends up being a Titan of some sort.
Also, wow, Whirl finally makes it into a cartoon!!!!!
Posted by Whifflefire on February 14th, 2020 @ 8:16pm CST
Wildwheel looks like he could be a Junkion. And that is definitely Shrapnel (or at least his model) that he is fighting at the 1:00 mark. Cyberverse Insecticons confirmed?
I presume the toy for Thunderhowl is the fully-articulated deluxe class that's supposed to be part of the Maccadam build-a-figure. Looks pretty good, but I think it would have done better without the battle mask.

I have to say I'm not huge on this series but these are characters that feel like they're going to be around for a long time to come. Like Iaconus that's a character that's going to pop up in future comics and cartoons I can just feel it. These are just great and fun and interesting designs all around.
