Seibertron.com member daimchoc has been kind enough to share some in-hand and comparison images of the long awaited Transformers Dark of the Moon Voyager Class Cannon Force Ironhide, a direct repaint of the wave one DOTM Voyager Ironhide. I was hoping the we'd get a G1 Redeco for an Ironhide mold that didn't make Jesus cry. Oh well, time to go grab a Leader 'Hide and some paint!

That much bright red plastic makes it look cheap. The red head is not flattering. I think it could be improved with a head switch from the original colored version.

not a big fan of this. i wish there wasn't all that black on the bottom half of the truck.

also.. i wish they would've used the recon ironhide mold. the legs on this mold are nice.. but that's about it.

at this point i have no room (figuratively) for G1 repaints. i'm more concerned with getting the characters who were actually in the movie. i like keeping G1 with G1 and movie with movie. but that's not to say that this is a waste. it's definitely cool for people who collect G1 colored figures. and i'm glad they were given this.

the only G1 repaints i want to see are the seekers. it would be awesome if they gave us a three pack with starscream, skywarp, and thundercracker with their G1 deco's.

i dont think the red will really be THAT bright

that would be cool to see starscream and them. but they always mess it up with never releasing thundercracker or skywarp

Additional size comparison.

The color is okay in person. It might just be the lighting. I haven't finished my setup and all I have in the room is the incandescent bulb on the ceiling.

OK can somebody please clear this up is he RED OR ORANGE the last batch of photos looked red he looked worth picking up now these photos have him orange again,

now i havnt seen any photos that come to mind were colours change quite as dramatic as that so which one is it. >:oP

If he is orange were is the G1 in that ,there will be no point in picking him up for me if he is.

Can't get enough DOTM Voyager Class Cannon Force Ironhide? We posted some in-hand and comparison images yesterday, and today we have video review from YouTube member fxfranz. The figure may only be a repaint, but it's one that has been a long time coming. Check out the video embedded below.
