To start things off, Kah Fei Shang has shown off Thundercracker working as a chest piece for CW Optimus Prime. This would work likewise with the other Legends Seekers (Starscream, Acid Storm and upcoming Skywarp), but what makes Thundercracker special is current turncoat status in the IDW comics.
Also, these Seekers should be compatible with CW Menasor, and might look especially fetching with a Skywarp chest piece!
Next we bring you a multiple Blackjack power-up to Menasor, thanks to Gikpa. While its not quite discernible how the pair of Jack's are situated on the shoulders, they sure give him a beefier look! If you're not interested in that bit of overkill, have a look at the alternate configuration of the chest Jack. It should connect the same way as the standard setting, but is a nice alternative to the "car parked on chest" look. Think about what this could mean for the upcoming Legends Rodimus!
Legends Huffer, Nemesis Prime, and Optimus Prime can all take a seat on the open chest cavities of CW Optimus and Menasor. It's as simple as positioning the Legends figures hands in a way to hold on to the two handles protruding from either Voyager's chest. How funny would it be to have Voyager Optimus combine with his Legends counterpart? Special thanks to Twitter users @FigureReviewers and @tsukumo_TF for the inspirational pics!
Even earlier Legends figure Skrapnel has found a way to clasp on the to Optimus/Menasor chest. Twitter user @frenzy_altron shared with his followers that he has the same method as Huffer and Nemesis Prime to hold sturdily aboard!
Hasbro's next stab at a Legends Insecticon, Bombshell pulls double duty as a Targetmaster and a chest piece. His gun mode is pretty self explanatory, and his hood ornament mode holds on like all his predecessors.
Saving the best for last, Seibertron's own Cobotron has come up with a great way to incorporate Legends Powerglide as a chest piece! Holding on to Primes chest pegs for dear life much like the others, he makes another nice addition to the hood ornament brigade!
In closing, you may have not been aware of the multitude of possibilities with these Combiner Wars figures and their Legends counterparts. A large number of mold sharing has made the options nearly endless!
If you have come up with something new, please share it! There's always new things to learn and things to discuss in our forum, The Energon Pub. Stop by and pull up a seat!

Great to see you getting into more editorial bits and bobs here on Seibertron.
I have noticed that the front paged Combiner Wars Fanmode Round-up doesn't display all the photos as they may have been hotlinked via various Social Media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter which a lot of work places and businesses tend to block as they don't want you having too much fun!
Any chance they could be hosted by Seibertron?

It's not as if Alex was tired when posting that. Nope. Not at all.

Don't do them like Peaugh just did recently with the CW Stunticons the reviews were pretty average at best.A bit disappointing.
Sorry Peaugh but our old mate Chuck did a pretty good job of reviewing Offroad today.
LOL! I kinda like peaugh's reviews. My reviews are nothing fancy to be honest. Uploading now, so any feedback is appreciated

Going back to the 'chest bots', I wonder if any 3rd Party has thought about creating a Powermaster type articulated figure to plug into Ultra Optimus' chest cavity?
This could offer a decent bot mode, some clever articulation and an aesthetically pleasing 'engine' mode for the chest cavity?
Just a thought.

Sorry for the inexperienced question, but, can you share a link to the review??
Thanks!

A) Be split into separate shipments, sending Motormaster in 5-7 days, while putting off delivery on the Deluxes until 3/27-ish?
B) Hold everything until 3/27-ish, since it's one order, and you'll have to wait for ALL of them to be delivered once they are all available?
Held. And by that time they will be at retail.

I thought the same thing. I also thought if there was a white Magnus of that Legends, it would be a cool little nod to a City Commander situation.ZeroWolf wrote:Cobotron@ the one with prime wearing prime? Looks a little like a super ginrai to me

-Powermaster and Godbomber additions
-Nucleon Quest/Black Convoy version
-Fire Guts Ginrai
-Energon homage limbs
I don't care who tackles it (Hasbro, Takara, Funpub, 3P) these need to happen!

I was thinking the same thing. Especially with car limbs. Similar, but not exact.
Looks fun. Makes it worthwhile to look into buying multiples of the legends figures.
I like the triple-black-jacked as well.

Bombshell as a gun looks better if you flip the antenna forward (like you would if he was in bug mode) and then lock his arms together. Looks sort of like a sawed off double barrel shotgun that way. Of course, that assumes you can get his arms locked, I understand some Bombshells won't, though mine can if I fiddle with it enough.

But this doesnt use his knee missile launchers though, right?

Yeah, the fact that there are 2 there, I thought those were the gun barrels and not his arms.

I just transformed my Legends Prime/Huffer/Nemesis mold into the chest-piece mold and I have to admit that it's going to be clunky and certainly for display only. It's neat though. I like it and I'll be using it instead of Rodimus, who I have no intention of picking up, and probably just keep Powerglide as the weapon for the inevitable Prime Combiner I pick up.
Whichever combiner I get for the Decepticon team, I'll certainly be using my Bombshell for the weapon unless I come up with something clever to do with the Legends Megatron/Warpath mold.

What was the one you did with Windcharger?
That was good too.
Completely forgot about him!
Though I believe I was copying others when I did these two.
shajaki wrote:Didn't miss them!
The TC Superion chest, I thought was somehow... mod'd to fit on there. How does he stay on there? Fill us in!
And Windcharger/Tailgate... I recall trying that out myself when I first got him and I couldn't figure out how to keep 'em in place. Lil help!?
Windcharger just hangs off OP's nipples, the fit at one end is a little tight and you will have to wriggle him around a bit, but just 'ram' him on there With Superion he is held in place by the chest plates. He will fall off easily though.
As for the seeker mould, no modding required.
As long as the joint is tight he will sit in there nice and tightly. Apart from a gap at the top it is like the mould was made for this. Just make sure that Silverbolt's chest is flipped up like normal for his torso mode.
Really like that one! Can't wait to see what other chest modes you come up withCobotron wrote:
Had to try it. It's hilarious 'cause he just looks regular.
Now I just want to get out all my Cybervese Commanders and go to town. See who else I can hang off Ultra Prime's sweet pepperoncinis.

One you use as a handle for the gun, the other, just whatever, just turn it to wherever it's least in the way.
Here's my Bombshell gun, sorry for pic quality all I have for pics is a 3DS and its camera blows.
I like it better this way, but I suppose I worded it a little strongly earlier. Since there's no official way, it's not like anyone's wrong.

I usually like Peaugh's reviews but this time he didn't go into much depth as Chuck did in his review with Offroad. Just little things like how each Stunticons hand\foot\weapon stores in their alt mode.
I will check your one's out when I get home from work

That is a clever gun mode. Damn the versatility of these figures eh? The reason I chose the configuration I did, is because i like the way his nose antennae thing as a sight for the gun.Optimum Supreme wrote:One you use as a handle for the gun, the other, just whatever, just turn it to wherever it's least in the way.

Shakedown, Takedown, you're busted! It's Breakdown, probably one of the best known Stunticons due to its use as various Bot-Con exclusives over the years. The hip joints will take some getting used to, but once mastered pull off an ingenious leg transformation. I expect this mold to be used often in the years to come.
