Jetfire is ancient and powerful, but he would prefer to stay hidden in the background rather than on the front lines. He is a peaceful robot at heart, preferring the stately, ordered excitement of science to the frenzy of battle. But the reckless ambition of the Decepticons, and the senseless violence of their war sickened him, so he left Cybertron to go into hiding. He slumbered in peace for years. Reawakened by the arrival of the war on Earth, he decided once again to enter the fight – this time on the side of the Autobots, and this time to end it for good, whatever the cost.
Convert, arm and attack with all the Transformers action you can handle! This Jetfire figure is a high-powered Autobot fighter whether he's in robot mode or supercharged jet mode. He'll be a match for any enemy in robot mode, and he’ll fire his arm-mount cannons at his Decepticon foes! When he converts to fast-flying mode, his turbo thrusters will make him too fast for any enemy to escape, and his photon missile launchers will pound them to scrap when he catches them! Keep converting him back and forth so he can handle whatever his foes dish out!

3 years ago I had issues ordering stuff for in store pick up. In the last 3 years I have placed over a hundred orders with Kmart and had no issues.
They have been pretty spot on.

Jetfire, has his own case assortment and will be the first figure in this assortment so he'll be a sure bet.
Attached is a picture of the case that Jetfire comes in.

You've been pretty lucky. A year and a half ago they sent me Prime Knockout when I'd ordered Prime Kup.
The "only figure in its own assortment" thing is the only making it "safe" to order via K-Mart.

Seibertron wrote:Jetfire will be easy to get from Kmart because he won't be part of the same case assortment as anyone else. The problem with Kmart is that with their ordering system, all Voyager class figures in a product line are the same toy. Their system doesn't differentiate between Voyager Class Optimus Prime and Voyager Class Grimlock. It does, however, differentiate between Voyager Class toys from different lines so Generations Voyagers like Springer, Soundwave, Blaster, Sandstorm, Rhinox, etc won't get mixed up with AOE Voyagers, but they will get mixed up with themselves.

You are safe since the box just contains one figure? Good then.

Meaning multiples of one figure? Then yes. Jetfire is shipped in a so-called "solid case", meaning no other figure is part of the same wave.

I was hoping for a few leader class Bumblebees in that case to spice things up. Like 3 to 1. :/

The Macross mold is much better, and even the Classics version is superior compared to the Generations figure.
The original toy is an amazing toy. But the Classics figure is extremely inferior to the new Generations toy. I was never a fan of the Classics Jetfire toy between its oversized helmet and difficulty with posing its upper legs in a position that doesn't look awkward. The new toy, while it has some flaws, is far superior to the Classics version.

Kimosabe, you have to actually get a hold of it, transform it first before you judge. You won't be sorry RP. Really! Of course Tomy/Hasbro had to do some modifications with the transform sequence............it floors the henkei version but as stated in my post it's a mix between the Kawamori Valkyrie's transform sequence and the Mospeada Armos type. Fully transformed, the fuselage is almost seamless.
If I have a complaint, it's that we can't collapse the fist into the arm like the original Macross design. In the henkei, it's like Jetfire just flips his arms down (still to it's sides)while this version, the arms are folded into the mid fuselage.
Get it while you can........satisfaction guaranteed!

Rodimus Prime wrote:Yeah, my judgment is based on viewing the impressive gallery, I'll give you that. I haven't actually held the new figure, but I thought I got all the visual info I needed to make a decision. And I stand by my earlier statement of the Classics being superior. Of course, actually having the Generations figure in my hand might change that. If I find it for less than $25.
Fair thee well with your hunt then. But $ 25.00 for him? I doubt he will go on clearance.

I agree with that. Those figures you mentioned aren't in the how we should call it................. "AWESOMELY" designed bad@ss characters. And my pal, despite owning an online specialty hobby store is simply getting floored by the number or orders he just can't fill up because Jetfire is such a highly requested item! 40 pieces sold out in one day!

I bought AOE leaders for $26 a couple months ago. I saw ROTF Shadow Command Megs for $25 and passed...yeah, the same one that was selling for over $200 at one point. Almost bought it till I questioned WTF I'd do with it. The right answer woulda been sell it 6 months later for 10x the price...
Just checked ebay and the Megs you mentioned sells nearly $ 400.00. That piece of........... ? Anyway, Jetfire is a keeper in my book. I also noticed that at ebay he ranges from $ 48.00 to almost $ 100.00

Maybe Tomy altered the look to avoid potential lawsuits from HG?

HG has no say in Japan, being a US-based licensee. The bigger problem is Bandai but the removal of the chrome may be for esthetic reasons only.

Dude, I see where you are coming from, but a true high grade macross (what Jetfire was originally) is insanely high. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?siteid=0&pub=5574891718&campid=5336631220&customid=&toolid=10001&mkevt=1&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.ca%2Fitm%2FAcrcadia-Macross-Plus-Kanzen-Henkei-YF-19-With-Fast-Pack-1-60-Action-Figure-%2F200981863626%3Fpt%3DUK_Collectables_AnimationCharacters_Anime_SM%26hash%3Ditem2ecb73dcca%26_uhb%3D1%26

Why are you comparing the Yf-19 to the current leader class Jetfire.
You can get a Macross Valkyrie for much cheaper.
