I really like the bot mode, but the dino mode is disappointing to say the least.

I was really hoping the red rocket tail was just a prototype thing on Dinobot.
What were they thinking!!!

Yeah the dino mode is somewhat of a fail for Dinobot. I'll be keeping him in bot mode mostly, so no big deal, but those hands...ugh.

Yeah the hands in Dino mode are weird. I can see a 3rd party making some articulated ones that look nicer and can fold in to space for them.

I'm definitely going to have to get a gold sharpie to detail his calf bone ridges like the MP.

I think the raptor hands just need another joint. I wonder if the lack of paint is so they can do a more show accurate version later. Also makes me think the back-of-box image might be part of a recolor later. Either way, I think I'll wait on a different version to pick him up.

why tf do he and Grimlock not have teeth in the front?? and it looks like with Dinobot after all their imaginative energies went into the top half of robot mode they were just like, f**k it, regarding the paint and plastic color applications to the robot mode bottom half lol...

Huffer is part of the wave 2 Deluxes, along with Airazor, Ractonite and the re-release of Earthrise Arcee (in Kingdom packaging). He's also the latest minibot to get upgraded.

Yeah I think i will also wait awhile on Dinobot, see if a different decoed version comes out, like Cheetor. As for the front teeth, my guess it's a child safety thing.

You would think, but look:



The teeth go over the bottom jaw, the gap in the upper jaw gives space for the finger to wiggle the mouth open.

I'm content with Igear as Neo-G1 Huffer. It's nice to see this one wielding a decent weapon...'nuff said!

They really should have made her knees balljoints- it wouldn't have reduced her knee range at all and would have given her the thigh swivel. Still a good toy but could have been better.

Agreed. Those are tempting... For a while I’ve thought about getting a legends class set of Megs, Soundwave, and seekers (probably the main 3) to pose on a shelf next to my CW Devastator.
Looks like that could possibly happen.

Also, I get why, but it’s unfortunate that Dinobot’s teeth look like mini tic tacs...
He’s a good little raptor!!

I just gots core Rattrap in and he is great. His shoulders are no problem to me, I almost say I like them better as they are. Good movement, posing and slight kinda butterfly joint, if u need it. I agree though, the core class seems like good figures. I looked at core Prime in Walmart and he didnt look bad either. Although I only want Rattrap since he is suppose to be small, as I dont collect out of scale figures of characters for the most part.

Speaking of butterfly joints....also Cheetor came in today and he is great. Much better in hand then he looks in pics and videos. I am very pleasantly surprised in him all around. When first seeing the Netflix Cheetor, I almost canceled my pre-order, but glad I kept it. Kingdom has great paint, and more of it in correct places, tight joints, poses well, fun to transform and just looks great in both modes. Only thing that I may do is try to put a bit of gold paint on his thigh armour and head crest. Highly recommend him if anyone is on the fence like I was.

I wonder if with the aversion to them on figures larger than Battlemaster in the past two lines, they've forgotten some of the usefulness of ball joints.

It's something to do with the size and thinness of the knee areas. Though in hand she doesn't really need a thigh swivel since she can balance really well her Ball-joint ankles... it just makes some poses are awkward.
