Back on Earth, the DECEPTICONS discover that the key to Vector Sigma is able to transmute whatever it touches into metal. Knowing that they have this, and the might of MENASOR, the DECEPTICONS decide that they will turn the Earth into a new Cybertron.
Teletraan 1 detects the energy of the key being used to convert parts of the area around a major northwestern city into metal, and alerts the AUTOBOTS. The AERIALBOTS join their new allies and head there, intent on stopping the DECEPTICONS from destroying the Earth’s environment with the key.
The STUNTICONS, upon seeing their hated rivals among their newly arrived enemies, charge towards them, intent on turning them into scrap. An instant later, a mighty battle erupts around them and the AERIALBOTS, leaving members of both factions out of commission.
As the fight rages on, MOTORMASTER, DEAD END, and the other STUNTICONS combine to become MENASOR. With a mighty roar, he lumbers onto the battlefield, knocking combatants flying as he storms towards the AERIALBOTS. Seeing the giant approach, they merge to form SUPERION, surprising their rival. Without a moment’s hesitation, they take MENASOR on hand-to-hand.
Can SUPERION turn the tide back against the DECEPTICONS? Or will MENASOR finish off the AUTOBOTS’ newest warriors? Find out on TRANSFORMERS Legends - “Key to Vector Sigma, Part 2”!

Agree great artwork except they made that car in the background too large.

TRANSFORMERS Legends - “Battle of the Brothers” has begun!
The AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS are locked in fierce battle over an experimental space bridge designed by JETFIRE. GALVATRON, intent on using it to transport weapons of mass destruction straight into enemy territory, orders his forces to use any means to secure it.
A stray shot from someone’s weapon strikes the space bridge, causing it to overload and explode. RODIMUS, JETFIRE, and GALVATRON and their teams are blown backwards through time, to before the creation of Cybertron.
There they discover the two brothers, PRIMUS and UNICRON, locked in titanic combat. The universe trembles with each blow, until finally the both withdraw, summoning forces to their sides to aid in the battle.
GALVATRON, in his madness, decides to ally his DECEPTICONS with UNICRON, ignoring the fact that the destruction of PRIMUS will spell his end as well. Meanwhile, RODIMUS, JETFIRE and the AUTOBOTS, realizing the stakes, throw all of their strength behind the creator of the Cybertronians.
Will PRIMUS prevail over his brother, the Chaos Bringer? Or will UNICRON finish the creator and erase the AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS from existence? Find out in TRANSFORMERS Legends - “Battle of the Brothers”!
UPDATE - All players in this Team Battle Episode have a chance of receiving a reward of 40 Battle Cubes from any of the bosses encountered. This is on top of the normal Boss payouts.

Hey TRANSFORMERS Legends Fans,
Starting in April we will be re-running classic TRANSFORMERS Legends episodes. All character and weapon card stats featured in these classic episodes have been updated.
Since there have been numerous changes over the years to TRANSFORMERS Legends, you may notice that some of the events have different reward payouts. This is intentional; we did not want to put in cards that were not there during the Episodes original launch dates.
We hope you enjoy the Best of TRANSFORMERS Legends, starting with “Dark Cybertron”!

We are working hard to resolve the issue and hope to have it fixed as soon as possible.
Please stay tuned for more updates.

Please check out DENA's announcement below.
Hey everybody,
It is with heavy hearts, and much displeasure that we must announce some bad news today.
We will be sunsetting the particular game that lead you here on the date specified in the in game popup. Purchases of in-game currencies will be shut off as well. (you will still be able to spend your remaining balance on resources packages and in-app purchases).
We always try everything within our power to keep our games running for our loyal playerbase as long as we possibly can, but unfortunately we are out of options at this point.
We know how hard it is to watch a game you love close its doors for the last time, but we certainly hope that you will consider adventuring with us further, as we move into the future. If so, we would certainly be thrilled to have you try one of our newer games, which can be found here: http://www.denagames.com/
Thank you for being such a loyal passionate player of ours, and we only hope that we can continue entertaining you for years to come with our new games.

I'm not sad to see it go, I gave up months back when it became apparent the only way to really get anywhere was to dump money AND a hell of a lot of time (which I never had)

So true.
Anyway, I can't say that I'm sad to see it go. I stopped playing because I found the gameplay style very weird (and i forgot my password).

unless you are texting or talking to soemone everything else you do on phone will drain battery fast companies are busy making computers fit in pocket palm of hand instead of keeping useful stuff on phone internet, talk and text everything else is pointless and waste of space on phone memory internet, games, applications on phones drains it fast but talking and texting does not not difficult find that problem

But the satisfaction of thinking about all the money they wasted to make my game miserable, now gone forever, is quite refreshing...

As some others have commented, I'm playing TF Battle Tactics now. It's less time consuming and I like watching the chibi TFs bounce around when they win. However with the most recent event it seems like another cash grab. One good thing is that I may have met a new friend in my area because of one of the leagues I was on.

From reading the experiences of you folks it sounds like the game was no fun or use without constantly throwing money at it-which can't be done by the average customer. Being made to feel like entertainment is only for the elite is bound to put people off, too.
Not sure what I'm trying to say...but it's a shame a source of entertainment can't exist from backing of sponsors and publishing companies, allowing fans and players to relax with something fun without having to shoulder the burden of it's entire existence. Sure, you pay something-product is to be bought. But...I know how much I hated FF13-lightning returns. You spend 40 bucks on the game but then find yourself constantly spending extra at the sony store for extra weapons, garbs etc.
Sorry, this may not pertain entirely to the topic at hand. Just seems every 5 minutes something is being closed down having not existed very long. (What was that other one, Transformers Universe?)

But, as was noted above, there was some neat art involved. Thankfully, people have archived a lot of it on Websites.

So.... what's the sad news?
Like the rest of you, I didn't much like Legends. The art was fantastic, but the gameplay was bad and the power creep was ridiculous. Cards that were reserved for the top players as prizes when I started wouldn't have even made it into my deck when I quit, and it's gotten worse since then. What's embarrassing is that I spent over $100 of real money on that game over a period of a few months. I cringe, looking back at that. I don't miss it, I won't be sad when it's gone, and the only thing that's remotely bad about this is that it means some artists will be out of a job.
I have switched over to Battle Tactics, but that game is rapidly going the same way as Legends did. It is, at least, currently more fun to play free than Legends was. We'll see how long that lasts.
Posted by Henry921 on June 11th, 2015 @ 2:59am CDT
I sank a bit of real life money in back when the Me Grimlock, King event was first played, and seeing how horrifically outclassed those cards became I avoided the premium space bridge. I succumbed to temptation a few months back to get a Scorponok card, and seeing how quickly even that Legendary Rare was outclassed I disabled in-app purchases and never threw money into the hole again.
Still, I will miss it. It can be fun, and the art is nice to look at. The last few weeks players will apparently be able to see all the old cards in the Cyberdex, so I'll enjoy it while it lasts... and ride it to the second star to the right and straight on until morning.

Desslok2201 wrote:In all honesty, this wasn't the best game. The old G1 awakening game was better, even if it was severely limited. I've owned most tf games, consoles and mobile, and I'm starting to come to the realization that the concept just doesn't translate well into a game, however much it seems like it should. Hopefully something will prove me wrong in the future, after all, Batman games sucked before Arkham Asylum
Really?
I used to toally love Konamis Batman Returns game when it was released on the SNES and it received rave reviews back when it was released too.(obviously around 20 years ago now....).
Not soley Batman but Lego Batman was released before Asylum and that's pretty great too.
But then, why are we comparing mobile device games to console games, I would have though the majority (in my experience) of mobile games are significantly inferior to console games anyway.
The Mobile TF games are utter trash compared to stuff like WFC and FOC
Posted by primalxconvoy on June 11th, 2015 @ 5:32am CDT
- geo-locked (hardly any TF games in Japan, would you believe)
- Pay-To-Win (From the very start, it's obvious)
- Lack of tactics (just "pachinko"-style random stuff going on. An actual card-battling game, this is not).
- Nothing to do but grind (just like "Pachinko or any other gambling game)
The main reason this is dead is because there are other similar TF games out there.
Wake me up when there is premium game, with either mouse/hardware controller support, Android TV support, and I'll cough up the money.
In the meantime, collect all of the wonderful art in those games and use them to sell as:
- an art book.
- actual trading/battle cards.
- android live wallpapers/other types of "visual" apps (like clock widgets, etc)

Megatron Wolf wrote:No tears shed here, game started out ok but turned to crap as time went on. Unless you played every hour of every day & dropped a butt load of cash you were screwed. Ill miss the artwork but thats it. Battle tactics is no better, dont see it lasting any longer than legends. Not going to have a good mobile TF game until DeNA is kicked out of the loop. On another note what ever happened to G1 awakening? Seems to have just vanished from all the apps stores
Legends always crashed randomly for me and was never very fun or interesting, other than the cool artwork. Pretty sad when the artwork is the only redeeming feature of a game.
G1 Awakening was pulled from the Apple store, but no reason was given. Probably DeNa didn't want the competition from an already existing, better game and got it pulled. I still have it on my iPod
I agree, once DeNa is gone maybe someone will be able to make a non-pay-to-win Transformers mobile game, since that's all DeNa seems to know how to do.
Posted by Jack Hallows on June 11th, 2015 @ 9:04am CDT
also, i'm glad the artwork has been cataloged online. cuz that was the only saving grace of an otherwise piece of sh¡t game.
