The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.

These are some of those stories. This is:

Woah, nihilism much? It's supposed to be Sunstreaker right? If so, the depiction of his attitude seems a bit off from his bio IMHO

I guess it's a fine line between depressing nihilist and contemptible a*hole.

Interesting art tho. :)

I like this one. Sunstreaker was always portrayed in days of old as a snob like Tracks, which he wasn't. His arrogance came from the fact he was a stone cold SOB who could look good while blasting a Decep right between the eyes point blank - and he knew it. He and Sideswipe were supposed to be the "necessary evils" the Autobots had to put up with in order to win. Instead, they usually were depicted as Heckle and Jeckle remakes.

Arrogance is one thing, but hating yourself and wanting to die is another. And by that comment, I don't mean to say that Sunstreaker is acting all emo-like, but the overall impression you get from this mosaic (at least FOR ME) is one of utter distaste for human existence, it just smacks of unhappy mopey writing.

Having said all that, it IS an interesting take on a Transformers story! I reckon it should be taken further! Get Sunstreaker a black paint job, and "hair" that covers his eyes, and a fixation with self mutilation, don't think you'd see that in a regular comic! :lol: ... But then it might violate Mosaic rules... :sad:

Emostreaker perhaps? Sounds a bit lewd actually! 8-}

I like how according to SS POV he's the only thing with color.

That and the prettyboy's hair although maybe I'm reading more into that.

I don't know if I would count this as emo. He doesn't seem to hate life. He's just disgusted by a species that he feels is completely beneath him, and is a ticked because his job is forcing him to deal with them. I think it does a nice job of illustrating Sunstreaker's arrogance.

Gotta agree here...sure it's a bit extreme, but it does fit 'streaker overall. I alwasy got the impression, perhaps wrongly I admit, that he was always just one step away from being a 'con himself and it was Sideswipe's somewhat leveling presence that kept him on the side of the angels.

Like I said ...
but the overall impression you get from this mosaic (at least FOR ME) is one of utter distaste for human existence

So yeah, I wasn't saying that Sunstreaker was emo...
gigazarak wrote:I reckon it should be taken further! Get Sunstreaker a black paint job, and "hair" that covers his eyes, and a fixation with self mutilation

...just that it would be funny if he was. And the writing of Mosaic is mopey, depressing, and emo-like.
