Thanks to Seibertron.com members hotrod1084 and darkjedi187, we have news of yet another sale going on at TRU (both online and in-store)

This will probably not come as a shock to regular Toys R' Us customers or (Seibertonians) but the sale is "Buy 1 Transformers toy, get a second 50% off." It is valid today, Friday 7/23 and Saturday 7/24.

There's a small twist this time around. To get the savings you need to use a coupon which you can eitheer get online or inside your local TRU store. If you are simply making the purchases online you can use promo code 939488. Also, Seibertron.com member GuyIncognito is reporting that TRU Rewards members will also receive a $5 off coupon good for anything in the store.

Also worth mentioning is that Wave 1 of Generations is once again available online at Toysrus.com.

Thanks to this sale, plus the free shipping for orders over $49, I caved. Bought:

TRU Exclusive Darkwind for $19.99
TRU Exclusive Countdown for $19.99
PCC Bombshock with limbs for $9.99

With tax it was about $52 total.

Just used it for Drift & Thrust...that'll save me a lot in the long run for gas money to drive looking for them and the inevitable disappointment when they aren't in stock at the stores I go to.

The irony of the sale is that the grimlock pre-order sold out yesterday. I called and tried to see if there was any way to sneak in another order but no dice.

Two MP grimlocks for ~ 100 dollars would have been nice!

the toys r' us in my area is so cheap they haven't stocked any new transformers figures since the release of the new voyager Bludgeon mold. they have maybe 4-8 figures in stock TOTAL when the decide to stock the racks, and those are usually series 1 ROTF figures

It's all Transformers on sale (in fact, all action figures).

I picked up Brimstone and Hubcap, on sale, and used my $5 reward coupon (separate email) and paid $7.40 for two scouts.
