And apparently he speaks now. Was it he to whom Meg's said "You've been keeping secrets."?

But now I can't see Magnus tear s*** up with the forge anymore.

I dunno: the Tales of the Beast Hunters seems to take place after the end of Beast Hunters, or may even suggest a micro-continuity.

Like I said with XDMan, the Tales of the Beast Hunters is a micro-continuity (thanks for clarifying which one, Sabrblade), its story doesn't particularly follow with the main show.

But the Dark Star Saber, along with Megatron's Prime arm, was caught and destroyed by the explosion when Optimus destroyed the Omega Lock in "Darkest Hour".

Do we know that for sure? We also figured the Apex Armour and the Polarity Gauntlet were destroyed in the explosion aswell.

A micro-continuity in the Aligned timeline? Well, scrap, Hasbro, go ahead and explain how that all ties in.
But that's to be expected... it's just a story to support the toyline, rather than a show or novel or comic or video game. Because there aren't any contradictions between those either.
Okay, enough ranting about that...
...for today.

Is the TV Movie thing on top of Episode 13, or is it just Episodes 10-13 combined?

I see on a lot of fanfics people making Ultra Magnus one word also lol but I believe it's supposed to be an epilogue so on top of the 13 episodes.

I dunno about the rest of you, but I wouldn't be shocked by a transformer that transformed

That said, I'm equally bummed to see the show end so soon (before its... PRIME?! )... but I'm even more concerned about the follow up. How the hell do you follow up PRIME????
I'd really like for Hasbro to consider a CG Prime MOVIE in theaters. It'd be nice to vote with my wallet and say, "Hey, thanks for Michael Bay and all, but... ehhh, PRIME IS BETTER."

Up until now, there hasn't ever been any real indication in the show that the Predacon is a Transformer. It hasn't even been called "Predaking" yet.hinomars19 wrote:I dunno about the rest of you, but I wouldn't be shocked by a transformer that transformed
All the show has ever shown us about this creature is that it's the clone of an ancient Cybertronian dragon-like species and has shown hints of having a bit of a higher intelligence than it's let on to have.
Tell me truthfully, if it were not for the existence of the toys of Predaking and the other Predacons, would you truly believe from the first moment we see the beast that it were a Transformers and not just another breed of Cybertronian wildlife?

Sadly the toys do exist, so really it still dulls any big 'secret' Yeah the show is aimed at kids. Yeah the toys are aimed at kids. One fatal flaw though, Kids are not stupid. We know this because once upon a time we were kids.
But, good point. Though in all honesty, surely you would suspect it to be the case. More of a 'I knew it' or 'I thought as much' kinda moment rather than 'Holy smoke! What a secret to have held! Well played Hasbro, ya got me! '
Besides, I was just having a bit of fun. The big reveal may be nothing to do with this, and now I've written too much on a topic made in jest

How they would compete with Prime was a question concerning me too. I could swear that they said the same makers of Prime would be doing the next show as well. But that's if I heard right.

I mean we all know(from the toyline) that he can transform, but do Megatron, Shockwave and the other characters on the show know that he is? Not likely given the comments Starscream (and I think others)has(have) made about his intelligence.

Doesn't seem like they know. And if they do, they're quite oblivious to it, and are neglectful not to inform Starscream of this. "Oh yeah, did we mention this badass mythical lizard also TRANSFORMS?!"

That strikes me as odd. Why would the current staff end a popular show and start a new one? It's a pretty big gamble, unless one believes you can catch lightning in a bottle more than once...
Or the Prime show isn't as successful as we think? I don't really know the Nielson ratings or whatnot for the program.
Posted by Sabrblade on June 21st, 2013 @ 10:23pm CDT
It's not that they're cutting the show short, rather, it's that 65 episodes was their desired goal for this show since before its creation. That it's ending at episode 65 is merely a sign of them making their dreams for the series a reality, coming to fully meet their long term goal after all.Metrosuplex wrote:ILL-Star wrote:How they would compete with Prime was a question concerning me too. Plus, there's the "Predacons Rising" epilogue movie coming after the finale, so we have that to look forward to as well.

I think there's been more than a hint. I don't recall what episode it was (but it was one of the last two) where Predaking notices Starscream entering in the access codes for the sensor arrays...then in the last shot of the episode, Predaking approaches the control panel and enters in the access code himself. That, to me, doesn't seem like the work of a beast who has very little higher intelligence. He knew exactly what he was doing and how to get it done.

Plus, this might be a case of Unicron Trilogy, three shows that are meant to be part of one consistent narrative under different names to keep toystores happy and interested.
Just since it's all handled in house now, it'll actually be consistent.
