Transformers Rescue Bots Flip Change Race Tracks at US Retail

Seibertronian staffer ScottyP has spotted two new Rescue Bots figures we first briefly saw at Toy Fair 2017, over on the Hasbro Transformers website! The two are a blue version of Optimus Prime doing his best impersonation of Homer Simpson as Mr Plow for his alt-mode, and a blue stegosaurus version of Chase, now the Dino Protector - check out the official stock images below, and click to take a look at the listings too.

That Optimus at Toy Fair was gray, though. People thought it might be a MorBot.

The blue coloration we see here is definitely newsworthy.

Though, now that we see the figure up close, yeah, dragons is right. The snowplow from the Boulder version of the mold has been retooled into a new truck bumper for Optimus.

I really hope they do the rest! It'd be nice to have them in scale with dino Optimus.

Especially if they all turn out this nicely. Chase looks great, a vast improvement over the tiny version they originally made.

I'd love to know why Hasbro thought "plane on giant wheels" was better than "helicopter on giant wheels".

We have seen some of these products before to give us an idea of the aesthetic but the breadth of the Playskool Friends Transfomers toy line was not fuly known yet. Well thanks to a Hasbro update to their site, we now have several new listings and official images. These toys are for the youngest Transformers fans, at 1 and a half years old and over. A classic for this kind of stores. At my local Winners, we just can't have a Power Ranger Super Charge zord with his battery. It's always stolen.

I am pleased to discover the jet mode Bumblebee can do something very unusual for a Rescuebot toy - He can raise his arms.

Where has that white coloured Gorilla Rescue Minicon got too - and was he the only new one ?
