The first one was in two parts and had minor specials. Written bios for the characters. The second one was also in two parts and had no specials at all. And this one has no specials but is in one complete box.Sabrblade wrote:What exactly are the differences between the various releases?

So far I've only seen reports that is was released on december first. But I don't live in the UK, so I can't confirm.Sebu-San wrote:Ok, I found out something wierd today. This collection doesn't exist! Seriousely, it has been listed as 'not available' on amazon.co.uk and it has been taken off completely from play.com. I have searched around and it is nowhere to be found! I had preordered this since the 26th of last month, so this has become a bit of a blow to me. I rang up hmv's helpline and the woman suggested that it may have been cancelled as this has happened to other products in the past. In the end I decided to bite the bullet and buy the individual RID boxsets for more cash.

The UK has got 3 re-releases of this set yet here in the United States we have yet to see it.
The series has not been seen or heard from here in the states since it was last aired back in the early 2000's
It has been atleast almost 10 years since we seen it here in the USA.
We, may get the better toys and movies or what not, but when it comes to getting the classics re-released or remastered you might as well forget it.
Threw me for a loop when I heard about Cybertron going on DVD next even shocked me beyond amazement that we are finally getting Energon here in the states also.
If they made a RiD Box-Set here in the USA I would probably pass out from shock.
Spain Gets - Re-Ramastered G1 Re-release DVD Box Sets.
UK United Kingdom gets RID, The Headmasters, Victory,
USA United States gets, Cybertron, Energon, TF-Animated Seasons 1 & 2
Maybe next year here in the USA we may get RiD but I doubt we will ever see a remastered G1 Box-Set again or the other series.

The complete collection is nowhere to be found! Not in stock anywhere, despite a previouse release date of dec 1st!!
It may be Jetix have decided it's not worth selling. I may be wrong and it might come out a later date, but so far it's in limbo.

We've had Headmasters, Masterforce and Victory for well over a year, but it would be nice to see BeastWars released here!

Well ... that kills my Christmas present to my girlfriend.
