Fellow Seibertronian Sabrblade has spotted a series of screenshots from the Chinese airing of upcoming Transformers: Robots in Disguise animated series, as captured and shared by Weibo user megatronus. The image below can and should be considered as minor spoilers for people interested in the story of the series, so tread at your own peril!

What we do get to see are the character designs in animation context of the main cast of Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Strongarm and Grimlock, plus Optimus Prime, what looks potentially like Drift and a couple of unknown characters - but no Decepticons yet. Check them all out mirrored below.

Anybody else here thinking that the truck in the 4th screenshot should have been the alt mode for Kup in the Generations line? Or any line for that matter?

I'm really liking these character designs/art direction. I think Prime looks cool. They all look cool.
Do I recognize those credited names from TFPrime? If so, it's comforting to know it's a similar crew making this show.

Ah oh. Strongarm and Sideswipe gotta thang goin' on.

Wonder what will happen when Prowl shows up. Love triangle.

We don't know the whole story yet. For all we know, Optimus is still dead at first and then comes back at some point (after all, it's Peter Cullen who's voicing him, and we know how he feels about Optimus dying and staying dead). These pics look like they might come from an episode later than the first one. Let's wait and see what's up.

It looks like the little samurai guys transform into pieces of armor for Drift.
Drift looks alot like Bludgeon... holy cow! what if he IS Bludgeon?!

You think that's Jazz? Could that be Smokescreen? I can't see his head that well. Neat looking design though. I like how his tires are his shoulder joints. I like some jazz. :DANCE:

The bird Decepticon might either be Airazor or Divebomb (apparently, its Chinese name translates to "Pickpocket").

To go with the screenshots reported earlier, fellow Seibertronian Sabreblade has lead us to new Robots in Disguise 2015 screenshots from the early episodes.

These feature characters that were previously revealed through previous clips and the Tiny Titans line, such as Hammerstrike and Thunderhoof.

Along with these decepticons, these stills also show us a new Decepticon bird, a new Alt Mode for Grimlock, more Strongarm on Sideswipe action and Jazz!

Also, I dont think this is a buffalo, it looks more like Cliffjumper (as shown in tiny titans asosrtement) with armour.

I don't know. Tiny T Cliff has car hood feet. Those look like hoofs to me.
What evs. I just like Buffarobos. The last time we saw a buffalo, it didn't work out so well.

So much so, there are no photos in our own galleries. :lol:

The synopses I mentioned being on another site refer to a bull Decepticon being in episode 5, and make no mention of Cliffjumper in all 13 episode descriptions.

Also I doubt that's actually a new alt mode for Grimlock.

Looks more like a funny scene where he tries to look like a car in order to blend in. I mean, he's got a wood plank as his lightbar. :roll:

Notice his

symbol is scratched out? :-?

People seem to want to see Steeljaw turn into a interesting character, this could be proof.

Either way, Jazz looks pretty cool, Drift's mini-mes are interesting, Thunderhoof looks awesome, the buffalo bot looks cool, as does the bird bot.

Hammer strike is a bit simple for my taste.

No idea who these two are. :???:

The buffalo guy seems to be in his robot mode, he has hands instead of hoofs in the upper extremities.

I like all the beast/robot modes so far.

Gonna practically be swimming in Cons this outing.

Wonder how many will get toys or how many will be recurring? As it is, getting kind of a monster-of-the-week feel. And with the "escaped prisoners" story, I'm REALLY getting Power Rangers Time Force vibes.

So glad we're getting some normal looking Decepticons in here, not just animal themed ones.

Please tell me that last image of what looks like an killer whale with gold tusks is Torca. Please, please, please! Torca is easily my favorite Fuzor, I'd love to see the character get the love he deserves, even if he's a bad guy.

i love every one of these cons so far. i think the red one is a new character. predaking is a little too noble to be a con and i think its a little obvious he hates cons even though they created him

The 'cons of this new series are slowly drawing me in.
I get a Battle Beasts vibe from Thunderhoof and a Breast Master feel off Steeljaw, and most 'cons as they resemble animals in bot mode and take a vehicle alt mode.

I've always loved Jazz.

In a preview clip episode #11 of Robots In Disguise, a beige Decepticon who transform into an armored militarized pickup truck is revealed as Flamefeather, You might remember him from G1 as a Firecon as a comics-only character. As his name suggests, Flamefeather is described as some type of bird, just like his G1 counterpart. In episode #7, there is another bird-like Decepticon called Pickpocket. Because trucks don't fly, this lead us to believe that Flamefeather himself is actually a ratite, which means a flightless bird. Pickpocket on the other hand, does fly, which lead us to believe that when he transform into vehicle mode, he will be some type of a plane of sorts. What you say about that? Do you admire the fact that Flamefeather is both a bird and a truck at the same time, as opposed to his G1 self?

Maybe the purple guys are Fracture, Divebomb and Airazor, from the Kre-O line. Underbite has a little partner as well called Ped. It´s an OK concept, I don´t hate it but I´m not super stoked about it.

And just where are you getting any of this information? Do you live in China, where the show already premiered? It would explain the awkward grammar, at the very least...
