Steeljaw's looking and sounding as cool as ever. Can't wait to see him as the Cons' new de facto leader.

Yeah, I realised it showed up once before as I clicked Submit on the news, but a reminder is good and we hear some of the voices again rather than the Chinese dub/just stills.

For some strange reason I really like Thunderhoof. He is kinda goofy looking with the horns and all, but I like him for some reason. I hope they make a one step out of it. Definitely loving Steeljaw, but my boys are not getting the concept that while they were multiple robotic wolves in AOE, it is now just one character with a personality. I tried to use the 80's Kraang and the new hive minded Kranng from the new TMNT series as a comparison, but I am not sure they followed....they are really little and the multiverses in the TF fandom seems to confuse them.

Ped: Tanker Truck
Springload: Ford Bronco Ranching Pickup
Terrashock: Large Four-Wheeled Truck
While tfw2005.com has confirmed that Terrashock is a four-wheeled truck, many people have speculated if Terra`s alt-mode is really a garbage truck, or a dump truck. Is that really a garbage truck, or a dump truck? You decide.

Well, you make it sound like a semi-truck. So...if you had a picture, maybe we could help out better, but giving us a vague descriptor and then three different types of trucks...doesn't really narrow it down.

It's the merchandising and writing of the live action films. In Animated, he shared the same amount of spotlight as everyone else, and in Prime he was a minor character and a plot device up until "Deadlock."

Annnd there we go. That's why this show just rubs me the wrong way. I rewatched a few Prime episodes to refresh my memory, and nowhere in Prime is Bumblebee more capable or more special than anyone else on the team. It's incredibly jarring for him to suddenly be important enough to be the lead when there's little to no lead up to it.

But you have to watch the last episode and the predacon rising movie. Bumblebee gets a sudden huge boost in importance as he upgrades from scout to warrior with Smokescreen telling him he could be Prime one day. Looking at this albeit forced turn, this new series makes total sense.

In addition to what william-james88 said about "Deadlock" and Predacons Rising, Bee had a few episodes in which he was given some highlighted moments, such as the "Operation Bumblebee" two-parter and when he singlehandedly outsmarted and defeat Airachnid all by himself in "Partners". Bee had his moments, they were just more subtle than most..Avensis-Mahiya wrote:Annnd there we go. That's why this show just rubs me the wrong way. Plus, whenever he guest stars in Rescue Bots, he is treated like a celebrity by that show's cast, and for good reason. He is awesome in that show, even without his ability to speak properly.
Though, as Optimus had abolished the Prime rank as being the single highest power of authority on Cybertron, it isn't likely that Bumblebee is the new "King of Cybertron" or whatever. He's more likely akin to Optimus Primal or Animated Optimus, being the captain or boss of a smaller unit while other bots hold political positions of office or high military rank.
He's the star of this show, yes, but likely not the head honcho that Optimus was. The show's just gonna focus on him because he's special in the real world, even if he isn't special in the fictional world.

Dude, let it go. I didnt realise only until recently that very young people are also on these boards. For all we know, we may be talking to someone who's 10,11 or 12. That would explain both the level of excitement and lack of understanding of the knowledge of this board.
Posted by Sabrblade on January 26th, 2015 @ 8:58am CST
Well, he's been on the board since 2008 (since which time he's continued this endless inquisition for six years straight) and has shown to have an educated detailed knowledge of things like human evolution and interrelation between species producing genetic hybrid species (such topics which aren't covered until the latter levels of academia higher than those taken by pre-adolescent children, in courses devoted to anthropology and Earth sciences, and most commonly found in college institutions), as well as knowledge from the production side of anime that aired on TV back in the late 90's/early 2000s, so I would be very surprised to learn of psj333 being so young as 10-12 (since that would put him at Age 4-6 when he first joined and began his unanswerable questioning).william-james88 wrote:Shadowman wrote:psj333 wrote:Just like the Autobots, are the new Decepticons for this new series also a young group? To be fair, knowing about shows that aired before you were born isn't uncommon in this day and age. But at the same time, being persistent about a line of thinking despite being told it's totally pointless is not restricted to any particular age. (Rodimus2006 was in his 30s, if you recall)

I just meant to say that you never know what the deal with someone is and thus shouldnt let it get to you. Yes, persistantly asking random questions may be annoying and done in ill intent, but it can also be a sign that the person has a mental handicap. You never know, thats all I meant by all this.
