I've been monitoring her prices for a while, and have not seen it less than $40 in the US. HTS still has her for $50, and you were (are?) able to apply one of those 20% off coupons, bringing down the total to $40. This deal is nice in that it's Prime and no coupon required. Though at least for shipping to NYC, HTS is pretty damn fast. Both charge tax, so price-wise it's a wash.

As mentioned above, Liokaiser has been (slowly) dropping in price. It's currently $109.59 with Prime shipping. That's about as low as he's gone, give or take, right?

When I saw it at 103.48$CAN (taxes included), meaning 77.58$US total, I pounced on it and I have no regrets. IMO the best and most solid combiner so far and that's the lowest price I ever say in locally.

TBH I would pounce too at the current price given all the great reviews. But I have UW Computron unopened and sitting on my desk right now (might wait until Xmas to open it as I no longer get gifts lol). I just want to pick up the CW version to mix and match the limbs. Many say that mix and matching both & Computrons is the way to have the "perfect" computron. It's expensive to do but if money is no object and you don't really care for collectibility, you may as well customise and repaint the resulting extra combiner into something original.

It's not that "no one want". Ultra over-priced "Chinese Year" Platinums always get heavily discounted at the end.

Via fellow Seibertronian Deathsaurus1, we have a reported sighting of the Platinum Edition set of Optimus Primal (from the Beast Wars line) in the Year of the Monkey redeco from last year. The news part? It was priced down to $39.99 USD, at a Ross store in Arizona! Check it out in the image below.

They are the same toy but different news. We already knew he was on amazon and cheap, but nobody had told us yet that it had been found in an actual brick and mortar store, thats new.

After, man, well, a long time I guess, I felt like I just had to log in and post a comment on my favorite TF news site.

This last Christmas/holiday season saw what I feel was an unprecedented volume of high ticketed items on clearance prices. I've been collecting TF's for almost all my life, I literally still own my first Optimus Prime, and I can't remember a time when anything like this happened - all the box sets going to Ross's and Marshall's and TJ Maxx's. It really blew my mind.

I live in Northern California and these stores are pretty rare. We only have a few of them. But persistence really paid off. I just kept checking the few stores I can get to over and over again, and I scored almost all the items that broke the news here. It was like the toy hunts of yore when we would wait for the hunters moon and the smell of fresh energon in the air...but I digress....

It all started with that Computron dangit....I never found him and he's now my Loch Ness Monster of TF bargain items...

This isn't to brag but it really blew my mind: I found Superion and Menasor for my best friend's son for Christmas, an extra Superion for me which I didn't really want, but then fell in love with, two Fortress Maximus's (never thought I'd see the day, ever) one for my buddy and one for me, a Sky Lynx, a Sky Warp (always my favorite Seeker) and then lastly, after coming up short at 3 Ross's I found four of those year of the monkey Optimus Primals at one store.

Just amazing.

Thank you Seibertron community, thank you so much. I have to give nods to the other TF sites that broke this news too like Allspark and TFormers. I love all those sites but Seibertron is my favorite. Come on, by far, we all know it's awesome. This made for one of the most incredibly TF collecting years of my life. And I'm now going to keep everyone here posted if I find anything new.

I just learned today that there actually is a ross near me.

Just found what Gamestop is calling a clearance on the OG series 1 Alt modes for $3.97 each.

While Americans have been getting very sweet deals on Fortress Maximus, Canada was left in the cold. Well, enough of that, Canadians can now purchase Fortress Maximus for $ 129.98 CAD (which is the equivalent of $100 USD). While the item is listed for 149.98, you can get it for an additional $20 less by either going online or in store and you use the current Hasbro coupon.

The same thing can be done with Masterpiece Bumblebee, which can be acquired for $ 49.98 CAD (about $38 CAD) by using the same coupon.

I was able to use it for Bee and others were able to use it fir Max. Just give it a shot, it should work.
