I am still struggling to see how paint apps are an issue. The 4 figures I have actually have lots of paint, on par or greater than the TR counterparts standing right next to them

Agreed. I dont get it either. The only one so far which I felt lacked paint was deluxe drift in alt mode. The rest have good paint. And that voyager megs use paint so well to give you a gorgeous subtle pallet of different armour pieces.

Oh I wasn't referring to the whole line; just a few choice figures like the re-used AOE Bumblebee and that Legion Optimus. Not to mention figures like Skullitron which might not be low on paint apps, but are pretty bad and have been criticised by others.

It's not all of the figures certainly, might even be a majority of the line that's good with paint; but there's a very noticeable amount of figures with terrible and/or few paint apps.

no, there are not. You technically are not supposed to and I would not recomend it since it is attached by pins.

I didn't have to remove any pins. Just a couple screws to get the roof part out and the screws went right back in.

As I have said before - I'd actually not mind that Proto-form Optimus if he was another colour - also the Optimus might have been nice in something similar to Laser Prime colours.

They are to much money to be so similar as they are - they are like one of those endless ROTF Sideways slight repaints that got made.

Seibertronian Bacem has found some cool images online coming from 淘宝店变形金刚改造工厂 on Weibo. These feature final product images of deluxe Cogman from Transformers The Last Knight. Unlike the previous renders, these new stock images give us a better idea of the finished product since they aren't photoshopped and are usually taken in a less flaterring light, giving us an idea of the product we will really get. Of course, we now know that this toy is very innacurate and completely off scale to the character in the film but hopefully the toy still has many fans. Let us know if you will still be picking up this toy!

That sword looks absolutely pathetic. The package art set up my expectations for something awesome and it was dropped so far :-(

Otherwise he looks a decent carformer. I wonder if the Titan Master is retooled from any pre-existing one?

Definitely liking this toy and can't wait to get it to paint some more silver on the robot parts that lack it.

To me this is Cogman as he is using his own larger body that we didn't really see in the film or perhaps having converted a car to be a restyled larger version of his normal human-like sized form. A fun looking toy either way

I kinda don't think so. the shoulders, shins, and head look like they're sculpted to resemble the bigger bot, but the thighs and torso could definitely be reused from a TR TM.
This fig definitely has my interest. Might depend how well that "weathered" deco turns out. Would be fun to have him rolling around the TR shelf though.

I'm still not convinced that swords are of any use against robots. Robots are practically MADE of armor - they're metal. Yet in the Bayverse, swords, hooks and other melee weapons seem to rip through them like wet tissue paper. Sure, it makes for a neat visual, but it's not realistic. The whole reason why swords became obsolete was the advent of the firearm. Suits of armor, which beforehand had been reliable and vital protection against swords and arrows, became useless almost overnight.

If I were fighting a giant robot and had my choice of weapons? I'd go with the fusion cannon, not a toothpick.

Tell that to other franchises like Ninja Turtles and Wolverine who are often using bladed weapons to fight robots. Armour's only gonna protect you for so long against something really, really sharp (like Wolvie's claws) and often the TF blades are enhanced with energy or fire or vibrations or some stuff.

Are suits of armour not bullet proof to some degree? I'm not actually sure.

Swords are a gentleman's weapon. They take skill, training, courage, and respect to wield. Any fool can pull a trigger. Where's the romance in that?

I got Voyager Megatron three weeks ago, still debating whether to get TLK Hound or try get the AoE version that never appeared in stores here. The AoE version having the bulkier alt-mode and more weapons but I like the TLK robot form too.

Some quality KO's of the AoE version easily available too I think.

Not as clumsy or random as a blaster, an elegant weapon for a more civilized age.I'm so sorry.

I'm more relevant news Voyager Megatron and Hound are gone off of HTS. I am disappointed. Deluxes are still there though.

But, yeah Cogman looks like a pretty fun toy. I may not like the movies, but I like a fun toy!

Just got email from Toys R Us UK saying 25% off TLK figures. Wasn't active when I was in the store yesterday and they only had wave 1 figures anyways. The website however lists Wave 2 deluxes such as Sqweeks, Drift and Steelbane also reduced to £16.99 from £22.99 and Voyager Megatron at £24.49 (if you can find him) down from usual voyager price of £32.99 (as well as Wave 1's Prime and Grimmy) Also of note is Leader class Prime and Megs are both shown at £44.99 (with no mention of that being a Sale offer so I assume that's their regular pricing). And the lovely shiny Prime helmet is £59.99 down from £79.99

Basically these prices are what they SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE FIRST PLACE! :michaelbay:

Hope this link works for you

Not just a mini-figure but an actual Titan Master? Of a tiny Anthony Hopkins who turns into a larger Anthony Hopkins head to proudly display on any Titans compatible figure to add a touch more class to them?

Got me wondering which Titans figures fit his most famous other roles... any Hannibal Lecter-esque Decepticons?

I don't own Leader Megs but I've had Voyager for a while and comparing to the Leader Megs pics and videos they are very different figures in transformation and such. One big example is that Leader Megs simply swings his jet wings behind his back in robot mode, whereas Voyager Megatron's wings fold in segments around his legs below the knee surprisingly neatly. The front and cockpit of the jet mode forms Leader Meg's fusion cannon whereas on Voyager that area folds up behind him and the fusion cannon is actually stored very tidily (still permanently attached to arm) into the central rear of the jet. I prefer the small size of the Voyager's fusion cannon. Looks much neater to me and probably more movie accurate. Obviously the big feature the Leader has over the Voyager is the battle mask feature of the head. I do wish they'd include alternate heads with figures like Voyager Primes and this Megatron so you could swap them at any time since the Leader gimmick is probably too tricky to do at the smaller size. Also the Leader class has those cool flame accessories but you can probably find or make similar items to use on any TF figure. I think there's even small companies that produce various flame/energy/gunfire pieces for action figures anyway.

Obviously this is all just my opinion owning the Voyager Megatron and loving it very much. If the battle mask and larger size of the Leader suits you more than consider buying that one. For me the Voyager suits my Megatron needs just fine. :)

I might. I had the AoE one but my problem with the Dinobots in that line were the strange colour schemes for them when they should have all looked unified (like in the movie and even the G1 Dinobots) and while AoE Strafe wasn't the most garishly coloured of the Dinobots there the TLK redeco certainly looks more fitting

We have two new Transformers: The Last Knight sightings for you. Mission to Cybertron Skullitron and Megatron were found at Toysrus (their exclusive retailer) in Los Angeles by TFW2005 user keldroc. A user from the same site, prime roller found Series 2 of the fan favourite Tiny Turbo changers in a Taiwan toysrus. This is the first worldwide sighting for these new toys. Hopefully there will be an identification guide shortly. That is the wave that includes Megatron, Barricade and Sqweeks. The wrapper is almost identical aside from having "Series 2" in the upper right side.

Drift is a really poor attempt at a toy. It takes away anything good the original mold had and makes it worse. If you arent a fan of pieces not tabbing in and floating around, avoid him at all cost.

But that red looks soooo good on him. Much better than the blue in AoE. Or maybe that was just on screen...

Thanks for the description. Sounds like the leader is more my preference, even though I would like the cannon to be more integrated into the jet mode, like the voyager has it. But with the battle mask (which I think it pretty cool) and his sheer size, I think I will go with the leader class. I really don't care for the flame/cannon fire pieces, I just see them as useless extra pieces. I will probably leave them in the box. It's what I did with voyager Prime's blue shield.

But that red looks soooo good on him. Much better than the blue in AoE. Or maybe that was just on screen...

I can't help but think of Double Dragons when I think of the two next to each other.
