Can anyone tell I'm stalling?
There truly is nothing that can stand in the way of Trypticon. With your votes, he smashed his way to becoming the next Generations Titans Return Titan Class toy. Mark your calendars, and look for him to hit shelves late 2017.

So I ask, who will it be in 2020...
I'll leave now
On a serious note it will interesting to see how they approach it in term of gimmicks and faithfulness to the original design. Wonder what the outrage would be if they gave him a robot mode as well as a city and Dino.

I'd rather an awesome robot mode over a dino laying on his back as a alt mode

Still - 'Late 2017'? That's kind of a long stretch, but ah well. As long as they use that time to make sure he's done GOOD....

All figures take about that long, since they didn't know who would win (assuming it wasn't 'rigged') then the most they could have prepared would be concept art, and basic designs at the most. Now that they know the general order of release, they can start work proper on all three of them in order.

Still gives them lots of time. It takes time to do these molds but at least they can get going and we can be more convinced they are going to try harder

I dunno ... with final production time they may only have six months to develop the figure. I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't got some work done on all three already.

Well, given that we will most likely get all 3 in the coming few years, they probably do have designs already, just a matter of which to implement first

On that same note I don't want an Omega Supreme that's taller than Devastator, but again I don't have faith in Hasbro. Scorpronok seemed like the hardest citybot to mess up so he got my vote (aside from being the best citybot )

An idea for a crazy online exclusive: metroplex + trypticon + first aid + swindle + two different coloured transformation cogs accessories = The Ultimate Weapon gift set. You could probably achieve similar results with the other pairing.

That's the Transformers fandom for you. No matter how much promise something shows, we instinctively (and sometimes collectively) shoot it down right away.
Moving on, I voted Scorponok. Toy-wise, I was torn between Trypticon and Scorponok, but I liked Scorpie's character more. However, Trypticon still looks INCREDIBLY cool. I'm not too worried about the tail, honestly. Some nice, tight ratchets and it'll be keen.

To be fair, that's what I've learned to expect from Hasbro. Especially in the last five years or so. Hasbro ten years ago, I'd expect epic awesomeness. Hasbro today...... Well, I'll be surprised if this doesn't turn out to be a lightly retooled and repainted Chomp 'n Stomp Grimlock.
The fan in me honestly hopes you guys get the Trypticon you want, but the realist in me doesn't think you will.
I get it though, if Omega had won, I'd be filling up with hope and wishes too.

Relax, we'll probably still going to get a scorponok but it just won't be for about half a decade probably not what you want to hear but hey, better then them saying that scorponok will never get made again

Yeah, that's true. I'm just gonna have to sit here and wait for Scorponok. I already have the Titan Metroplex anyway, so Trypticon will go well with him. I'm planning on getting Titan Fortress Maximus too, and my Combiner Wars Devastator is on it's way, so I'm pretty sure I'll be able to wait for Scorponok.

Hasbro doesn't exactly have a great track record when it comes to making things in the right scale. Ultra Powerglide? Deluxe Galvatron? Masterpiece Grimlock (OK, that one's on Takara). I want Trypticon to actually be 24" tall, not just 24" long, and Omega to be 18" tall to go with Devastator, I don't think that's asking a lot and maybe Hasbro will come through, but I'm just not that optimistic.
And I'm sure we'll get that Gigastorm right after that Metro Titan we never got. While we're at it we can beg for Omega Sentinel and Black Zarak. Let's just see if Hasbro actually makes that Autobot Build Team they were musing over a while back.
At least now Wipe-Out will have his boss to grovel to.
As for 2020, how about an updated Metroplex with Combiner Wars sockets in the legs and arms. Nah, we'll probably get RotF Devastator with individual bot mode limbs instead.
I just hope whichever one came in third Hasbro doesn't look at it as a lack of interest from fans and passes on it entirely. Plus I don't believe they've ever come out and said they'd make all three of these over consecutive years. 2018 could be Titan Predaking for all we know. Heck, it'll be for the third part of Prime Wars, it could be Titan Primus even.
