Since he made an appearance on Amazon Australia among other listings earlier this month, there has been a not-inconsequential amount of excitement for a potential Sixgun in the War for Cybertron: Siege toyline. And now it's more than potential, as Sixgun is suddenly available for pre-order on Amazon Australia!

The figure is listed at $29.88 (presumably in AUD, so about $22 US) and is listed with a release date of April 1, 2019 - possibly a placeholder date, though it isn't outside the realm of possibility for this date to be an actual indication of Sixgun's placement within the Siege line's wave layout. Given what we now know about Deluxe Weaponizers in the upcoming toyline, it's probably a fair bet to assume that Sixgun will fit into that category, and will be capable of splitting into multiple weapons for other toys to wield (as his original G1 self did also).

Check out the product description (such as it is) below, and check out the listing for yourself here! Share your theories about this upcoming Sixgun in the Energon Pub Forums, and stay tuned to Seibertron.com for more breaking Transformers news!

This is just my own theory (not based on anything in particular) but I have the feeling Sixgun is going to be retooled from Cog, if not just a straight redeco. In which case his alt-mode is "lots of guns, or lots of guns in a pile with wheels on the bottom".

I'll throw in the possibility that the core will be that of a tank. Give Slammer some love, you know?

Well, for me it's an overall fail. It's all about personal taste. :D And yes, I meant CW. The only thing I liked about it was the tank mode. The robot mode was ugly and inaccurate. The lower legs totally screwed up the figure, as did the idiotic cannon. It was on backwards! I get that it could be turned around, but then it didn't fit right. And don't get me started on the completely unnecessary and inaccurate 'Armada' repaint/retool. The only positive use that mold could have had would have been a G2 Megatron. Yeah, the cannon would have been on the arm instead of the shoulder, but that could have been fixed easily.

My guess the best updated would be regular arms with the black cannons as plugged in the shoulder or arms via 5mm ports.

so this line is looking like a whole lot of garbage to me. Only figures I even remotely care about are the weaponizer class, Ironhide and Magnus, which is a shame, cuz this line should be right up my alley, but the figures being shown really aren't looking to me like they deserve the ridiculous prices we're going to have to start paying for them. I do wonder if b&m stores will continue to undercut the msrp :-?

Ok, now that I've taken the time to look things over, I like what I see so far. Especially the Battle and Micromasters. I won't be getting a lot, tho I appreciate the work put into them, especially the unexpected RiD 2001 homage for Ultra Magnus.

And upon closer inspection with the "retools": no shared parts. Just the transformation is copied in most spots.

Objectively. This is dumb. I'd rather wait, and pay a premium for a 'special edition throw-back to Prime Wars' figure. Or not at all, I guess.

I agree, this is stupid. Why couldn't they just finish the chickbots as a combiner team? It's the same as not giving us a CW deluxe Skywarp and Thundercracker to go with Starscream. Just obvious blunders on the part of a company that supposedly plans far ahead in marketing and production. :-x

But it does plan ahead, plus hasbro have never released a deluxe Starscream have they? Isn't that all takara? They could potentially still put thundeecracker and skywarp as legend exclusives if they wanted to.

Of course, we could also get the remaining girls next year as amazon exclusives. If they don't then c'est la vie.

In Prime Wars they never have, and in the Generations lines before, only Armada and FoC. UW Starscream... what could Hasbro have done to do the mold and the character justice?

with Hasbro being very adamant about the line having the characters in scale with one another, I am now doubting that leader shockwave listing. It might be for another line, I don't know, but for that' character to be in scale with the others he would not be taller than a voyager

Who would be a good candidate for another leader class figure in Siege? A retool of Ultra Magnus to make "Powered Optimus Prime?" A new Jetfire?

So, wait. Tidal Wave would be leader sized to contradict Ultra Magnus, fine. But having Megatron voyager-sized to match Prime? That would be fine but I'd find that hard to believe Hasbro would do such a thing...

Yeah I meant to put "combiner wars" after deluxe and before starscream...I knew hasbro have done deluxe screamers as I've had a few. My question has been answered though so thank you :-P

As for Shockwave, what if it's a voyager sized Shockwave sold at the leader price point because he's also coming with some extra stuff?

Though I would love to see a tidal wave that had a more general release than the last incarnation in tr. Thinking about it, the decepticons never had that many big hitters like that did they (well outside of combiners anyway)

the Implication is that Ultra Magnus is indicitve of tge Leader Gimmick as a whole: smaller bots in armor. which would make sense in the line of small robots beciming guns and shields and such. So I doubt, if that is the case, that we are getting a Leaser Shockwave .

now, I could totally see Tidal Wave as a Leader, with an Armor Gimmick for Megatron. I would also not be surprised if we got Star Saber out of the Gimmick. not sure what other Cons could "Power Up"

I'd be totally in for a Tidalwave that could combine with Megatron. Especially if the end result is way superior to the poorly executed Armada original.

So, what other :CON: could power up? Easy peasy. STARSCREAM. He either crown himself or become a giant. So imagine this. Earth mode Starscream, that would combine with his spaceship "trailer" to become giant.
But the kicker is that Starscream is the pretool for.... STARSABER! :michaelbay:
So, how awesome would that be?

We don't know yet if Ultra Magnus is indicative of a size class-wide gimmick or if he's just a one-off figure and oddball design idea Hasbro had laying around. That said if we get armor, please please Star Saber and/or Thunderwing.

That's kind of weird, unless they're making two vastly different versions like Titans Return did with Powermaster Prime and the Octane pretool. Unless one of them is Beast Wars Megatron but HAH! As if! I'll eat my own underwear if we ever get anything Beast Wars-related in the next ten years.

Yeah I was referring to getting Skywarp and Thundercracker out of the Ghost Starscream mold, but I was saying they could have been released as limbs for Voyager PotP Screamer, to go with Dreadwind and Darkwing. So we could have had a seeker combiner, even if the latter 2 weren't really seekers and had their own (also poorly executed) combiner gimmick.

And why wasn't a deluxe CW Starscream ever released? It would have sold well. It didn't have to be the Ghost Starscream version, because I get that that's an exclusive to go with Grand Galvatron, but still. I thought a deluxe Starscream is a slam dunk in any line.

There is the possibility that one of those listings is for a WFC Megatron, and one is for a Cyberverse figure at the same price point as a standard line figure.

If they made a new BW Megatron, especially based off his first Transmetal form, I would buy it in an instant, same with Depthcharge and basically all the other main cast Predacons, but of course Warden won't do that. I would love to be wrong, but...

With the focus on characters scaling right, maybe we should be glad they aren't doing any beast wars characters this line, otherwise they would all be battle master or micro master size.

Not even close. The info is out there, we posted it, Hasbro was very clear in saying that there is no line wide gimmick this time around and that only toys which would have gimmicks would be those who had them initially, with Magnus as an example.

They listened to fans and are really going 100% full on G1 this time giving you the characters as they should be, with the only twists coming in alt mode designs to fit with the "last day on Cybertron" theme.

So for other leader options, the only ones I could think of that would work with this scale are Jetfire and Deathsaurus (aside from of course Sixshot, Overlord and others we already got).

Tidal wave wouldnt make sense since he isnt G1 and leader would be too small in a line where he would be made to scale with a voyager Prime.

I'm going by the Video where Warden says " Ultra Magnus really captures what we wanted to do with the Leader Class in this line." or something. I dont remember if it was a the Panel or the floor after that. Maybe he meabt it in a more General statement and not an outright gimmicky.

and as to Tidal Wave, remember he had no more right to be in Titans Return, since he waant a Headmaster and turns into armor and dont forget that while that is 100% G1 Ultra Magnus in Bot Mode. they were clearly going after Car Robots with that alt mode, right down to the Cow Catcher of Doom. So to dismiss someone like Tidal Wave out of turn just because he isn't G1 isnt entirely fair.

Warden also said in the Panel they were going to be mote aware of the other incarnations. maybe he just meant including other aspects of itherwise G1 Characters but again, RID Mags.

You do make a good point about Scale. It would mean Tidal wave taking the Titan position this year (if we even still have a Titan) and I dont see that. Although in Energon he wasn’t much more than twice Demolisher’s size. And if they do go with the Boxing Gloves and Backpack for a Megatron, a Titan would be too big for ether Voyager or Leader scale.

ultimately, with only 4-6 slots in the Waves there's a lot of competition for those spots.

WHERE'S THE CONS :CON: ????

Pure LAZINESS on Hasbro's part! Why not A SHOCKWAVE Voyager ?? Or even A SKY WARP Redeco of PotP STAR SCREAM. Since their being LAZY- that sounds like A No Brainer.

Or why not give us A simple "Lost Light" CON-styled repaint Voyager of HOT ROD from his inner PotP Rodimus Prime's Leader class figure ? ? ?
- Hello @Hasbro

Just one to many WTF/ "No Brainers"!
This was an embarrassing Showcase for HASBRO especially for any SDCC By comparing it to any other. No Exclusives
like A Starscream F-15 GI.Joe Striker w/ Cobra Commander, No Devastator, No Titan (Fort Max-ish thing) to write home about. How stupid is HASBRO!? People go to SDCC For TITANS (Not that DC Sht), CC Exclusives. NEITHER OF WHICH YOU CAN BUY AT STORES! Not everybody likes MAIL ORDER/ DELIVERY.. And waiting to see if TAKARA's is going to be better. I Want to go buy something !!! Not wait at Home for my on-line delivery evey phucking time.

And HOW DO THESE STUPID 1980's LOOKING MICRO BOTS PRESENT "MORE PLAYABILITY" Than Head-Masters & PotP from last year ??
LIKE SOME OF YOU ARE SAYING. Anyone ??
I know TRYPTICON Lacked Playability by comparison to his former & of course FORT MAXIMUS, which was far superior. But Last Years PotP show was waaay better by comparison anyway. From Variety, to inventiveness, to Just pure Colorfulness, to "PLAYABILITY".

In conclusion, [If] this was the Year I decided to go to SDCC Man would I of been Pist! Only good thing was "End of The continuity" special IDW "UNICRON" #1 comic (that features Both the FCBD. #0 & New #1 // im assuming). Which matters Not cause '5 Fold Understanding' YT CHANNEL Has both of the comics up anyways ((I know the UNICRON #0 Is Up & He said #1 is coming)). Anyhow with ALL THAT BEING SAID--
Im happy I didn't go. Cause HASBRO embarrassed themselves this year.

Wow, you're right! It's almost like Hasbro hasn't revealed the entire line yet, and it's impossible to make a full judgement on the line just based on about a wave's worth of toy reveals! Or that the reveals have no relation to the exclusives - not to mention there was an SDCC exclusive this year (one that quite a few people were interested in), check it out.

Oh and, um,

I hope they, HB/Takara doesn't go overboard with this the way McFarlane toys did it with their Spawn line. Sure its war and all.............

"PLEASE-D" WTF ??? YOUR JOKING RIGHT?

There's really NOTHING HERE!
A Sht LAZY CHROMIA Repaint of PotP MOON RACER. An IRONHIDE That Looks Great from a SKY-CAM VP.. Look closer-- He HAS NO PELVIS! Where's his waist? An why such A drab coloring job. Now MAGNUS Looks decent but his LAZY CW Analogue has A better aesthetic. At least IMO anyway (No waist swivel/ No Ratchets on A $50 Leader class bot aside of course).

So much Vehemency...

I do agree with you to an extent that Chromia being so obviously similar to her Limb Bot counterparts and yet not having that capability is a bit of a slap. It reminds me of last week when I found out HP no longer makes a Driver for my old but still reliable scanner that definately still works. They coulda left it there, but I get why and they arent wr9ng for wanting to start from scratch, even if I dont agree with their pretending the CW system doesnt still exist.

by saying "Ironhide doesnt have a waist, do you mean because its overpowered by his huge chest or because you want the RoboDiaper of his Masterpiece? cause I don't want that. he does have a big chest, but the Vehicle mode looks great and the robot mode doesnt look bad. he's a big stocky fighter and he lools like one.

The Drab Color is a style choice. Ironhide's always been a bit of a mud-fight in acowboy type. And the whole line is about the WAR. The active, bloody, final days War. not the battles on Earth, but the constant knock down drag out fighting. Hasbro wants them to be dirty, or at least unpolished.

This is only the teaser. if you think there will not be Decepticons then I have a Space Bridge you might ne interested in. The Cons are coming. this is just a teaser. The Heroes have always traditionally sold better than the bad guys. so its only good business sense that they start with those.

your next point is basically Shame on Hasbro for not having the Exclusives I want. we actually talk about the Titans on the TwinCast Podcast (I say "We" I only guest starred in one show...) And the signals some people are getting is that the Titans are simply not getting Hasbro the Return on Investment. Including your Highly Praised Fort Max. Hasbro basically needs to focus on selling the Predakings that they have, if they sold Predakings as Con Exclusives then that potentially is Predalinfs that are not being sold on BBTS or Amazon or Target. And if those three dont sell their stock at a profit, they decide its not worth the risk to sell the next Titan, and if they dont order stock then Hasbro doesnt make it and we can't buy it. So better to let the Street versions of Predaking sell out first. Maybe we'll get a blinged out version next year.

I doubt they can sell the imner mold Hot Rod without his armor simply because of how Molds work. each plastic part of a Transformer is a poured casting. they pour liquid plastic into a giant steel casting and after it cools, they pry the pieces out carefully (like an Ice Cybe Tray but hotter and heavier) Forum is Prime may be several molds due to the number of parts bit most of the red parts get cast together, and so on, so to make Hot Rod they have to make Rodimus. they would be better off to use the Titans Return mold straight off for a LL Forum is, but that color scheme is gone from LL now. and had the books come out when they should have, that color scheme would have been gone for a while now. Its old News.

Trust me, people are not going to SDCC for Titans. This is not Botcon, where the convention centerpiece is the toys. you do not simply go to SDCC for one fandom, or you simply dont get the value for the cost of Admission. Read my post above about selling the Titans. Instead, Hasbro's exclusives are centered around the upcoming Movie, which is exactly what you are telling them to do with Lost Light (and yes, I realize this is San Diego COMIC con not MOVIE Con, but you better believe DC and Marvel are promoting their Movies too. And Doctor Who is pushing their TV stuff, and so on), and a character from both the Machinima video and the Fan Vote. All Three exclusives have caught on pretty well with a majority of the Fandom, so clearly they did it right. They just didnt scratch your particular itch.

And News Flash: Most of us have to order the SDCC Exclusives.

Let me tell you a story. it goes like this. "Once Upon a Time.." Actually, you know what? No, "At No Time Ever in playing with my Titans Return Figures have I ever played with the HeadMasters. My favorite Titan Master is Shuffler, because I literally put his HeadMaster in Godbomber's cockpit and play strictly with the Elephant Tank. I Don't care about the head dudes. its one more part I have to detach and stow in a Vehicle mode. the Prime Masters? they never leave their Armor, not even when I put them in weapon mode.

but these Micromasters? you do realize these things are Hot Wheels sized right? they wont work well with Hot Wheels tracs that require Boosters, because these dont have the weight to hold to the road, but the Hot Wheels city sets and little store fronts will work perfectly. You know how I know? because its exactly what I did with the identocally sized Mincons back in Armada in 2002. Before that, the original Micromasters even came with Base station play sets in the 80s. it'd be wonderful if Hasbro would do some of the Base Bots with wide enough Ramps...

waitaminute... They did. ;)

I'm sorry you didnt find much about WFC:Siege to be excited about. a quick scan of the thread shows you aren't alone. But you also aren't in the majority here. By most accounts, this is a great opening Salvo for the new Trilogy. Just wait, there will be more.

Did you really like Fort Max over Metroplex? I passed on him for other priorities snd have been on the fence about circling back, now that we are getting Cog, but that Base just doesnt look enough like Maximus to me to make me want to double dip on the mold

There are plenty of fan-modes for Fort Max that make him look more convincing, or more like his G1 toy (though not really any fan-modes that do both IMO). And hey, what better time to pick up an updated figure with a not-exactly-G1 altmode than in the line that's basically all about doing that? I'd say if you can still get him for cheapish, he's worth it - especially if you also pick up the Reprolabels to go with, they boost his presence so much.

And personally, I'd be picking up Cog anyway even if I didn't have a Fort Max to put him with - he looks really fun and playable just on his own! - but I agree it's a nice feeling to be able to put the pair together :D
