But he was a tight-fisted hand to the grindstone, Scrooge! A squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, clutching, covetous, old sinner!
External heat and cold had little influence on Scrooge. No warmth could warm, no winter weather chill him. No wind was more bitter, no falling snow more intent upon its purpose, He would rather have Bob Cratchit freeze to death than waste the coal for warmth!
Also he was Starscream.

That was seriously incredible. Very good job.

If you are not Canadian, you may not be familiar with this Holiday classic from Quebec, circa 1984.
You don't need much French to understand the gist of this original movie trailer:
So, here's my picture of the week (so far), the romantic nightly encounter of Luc and Sophie: (Link in French. Hidden as to avoid possible spoilers)
By the way, the movie was remade in a CGI animated movie, released internationally. Here's the English trailer:
Despite the horrible trailer, I can guarantee that the 1984 original is a great film. If you can find some subs, give it a go.

Ah, I remember this film! Every winter after watching it I wanted to try and make an epic snow fort like that!

By the Pit, it's cold out here...where did Chromedome and Rewind go?
Maybe if I get a higher vantage point...
HOLY SCRAP
...well.
Hey Prime! Come look what I found!

Day 9
To say that Scrooge was not startled by the incident at his front door would be untrue. Taking a candle, Scrooge checked the many rooms of his home before setting himself in front of his fireplace to eat a warm meal before bed. However, his evening would be interrupted by the ghastly image that now appeared before him.

To Scrooges surprise, and relief, once the church bells outside began ringing, there was nothing. He sighed triumphantly before the bell struck the hour, which is did now, with a deep, dull, hollow BONG. Light flashed up in this instant, and the curtains of his bed were drawn aside.

Awaking in the middle of the night, Scrooge felt that he was restored to consciousness in the right nick of time for the purpose of holding conference with the second spirit dispatched by Jacob Marley's intervention. Laying low in his bed, he established a sharp look-out, for he wished to challenge the spirit on the moment of it's appearance, and did not want to be taken by surprise, and made nervous.

Okay, you Minis, ready to sing your song?
I'll say we are.
Yeah!
Let's sing it now!
Okay, Divebomb?
Okay!
Okay, Bumblebee?
Okay!
Okay, Rewind? ...Rewind?
This kicks a treadmill's butt-
REEEEEWIIIIIND!
OKAY.
...I have no all the regrets.

Alright, 5 minutes late, but here it is. Day 12!
Lifting his eyes, Scrooge beheld a solemn Phantom, coming like a mist along the ground towards him. Slowly, gravely, silently it approached. The gloom concealed its form, and it was difficult to detach its figure from the night and darkness that surrounded it.

Yes! The time before him was his own, to make amends in! The air of Christmas was clear! No fog, no mist; bright, jovial, stirring, cold; cold, piping for the blood to dance to; Golden sunlight; Heavenly sky; sweet, fresh air! He was so fluttered and so glowing with his good intentions that his broken voice would scarcely answer to his call.

Scrooge was better than his word. He did it all, and infinitely more; and to Tiny Tim, who did not die, he was a second father! It was always said of him, that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge. May that be truly said of us, and all of us!

But anyway, we're moving on to Week 3. This week's theme is...
Cooking!
This time of year is synonymous with cooking and baking, so have your Transformers whip up something in the kitchen and post the photos below! Of course, you can go the traditional route of Christmas Cookies, Fruit Cake, and other classic Christmas recipies but this is also a great time to start showing off your culture's traditions if your family doesn't celebrate Christmas! Show us traditional dishes from your religion/culture, as well!
Now let's feature our favorite submissions from the past week!
THE BOARDS
Sigma Magnus with The Getaway Discovery (Comic)
Kurthy with The Obigitory Die Hard Reference

Then, finally, truly in a league all it's own:
Fires_of_Inferno with A Christmas Carol (Comic)
This is by far the most amazing entry we've received this year, and probably the best we've received in the history of Transformersmas. Fires_of_inferno takes us through the trials and tribulations of Ebenezer Starscrooge, in this 7-part, 79 installment (practically shot-for-shot) remake of the classic Christmas tale. It's unbelievable, and to do it justice, we'll link to the seven parts below. Extremely good job, Fires_of_inferno, you win this week.
PART 1
PART 2
PART 3
PART 4
PART 5
PART 6
PART 7
That's all our features for this week. Enter your cooking photos below, and then check back next week for the final theme of Transformersmas 2017!
