Episode #334 “PulseCon 2023” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's what we discuss in this episode:
- PulseCon 2023 reveals are upon us - while not all of us were able to watch the stream live, you can catch the replay embedded in Seibertron's coverage here:
- We pass judgement on the surprise art-based reveal of Commander Magmatron and not-so-surprising reveal of Titan Ark... I mean Tidal Wave.
- We pass judgement on the product reveals. Animated Universe Optimus Prime? Oh yea. Beast Wars Tigerhawk. Bring it on. Rescue Bots Chase? Laser beams shooting out of our eyes. Rock Lords? Feed them to the sharkticons.
- We pass judgement on the year: 1991. 40 for 40 continues, and the crew selects their favorite toy from this relatively sparse year, with some crew-members using the "it was re-released in Europe that year!" workaround.
- We pass judgement on the new toys we've bought, as we wrap up with a round of bragging rights.

The gun can store loosely inside shadowstriker's alt mode. There's more than enough room to lay it down inside. Still doesn't make it good.
Also, if they just would have named the gray rock lord truck Avalanche. Probably couldn't make it past legal, but it would have been an amusing reference.

Plenty fair, it doesn't need it, but the entire top half of the robot mode all aligns in a much more satisfying way once modded. Keeps everything straight, gives the inner shoulders something to rest on, and even comes close to actually locking the wing supports into the bottom of the forward fuselage.kurthy wrote:The landing gear for dreadwing and skyquake doesn't need to be modded. You just need to have the nosecone at the right angle to shove the landing gear into position.

Unmodded, there's something for the shoulder to rest on and everything.
But then I realized I hadn't gotten that far on dreadwing, was pushing it in, something slipped, hurt my finger and broke the canopy...

Didn't see the pics earlier - see, this is what I had to mod mine (and Dreadwing) for it to do. When attempting to put the canopy/nosecone/etc into that exact position, it would never hold because that one small hinge part with the hole in it pushed against the landing gear. Widening that hole took care of the issue. Pretty cool you didn't have to, certainly makes life easier.kurthy wrote:ScottyP wrote:Plenty fair, it doesn't need it, but the entire top half of the robot mode all aligns in a much more satisfying way once modded.
