EDIT: The direct link in the news article works fine though. Don't know why I didn't try that first. Sorry.

Actually, it's not coming up on iTunes yet either... So there may be a delay in the upload.
Let me look into it.

Aperture (F-Stop): F/8
Exposure: 1/400 Sec
ISO: 400
I use an off-camera speedlight connected to a cheap cable that sits on the hot shoe, I normally use it at 1/4 of its strength and bounce it off the white ceiling. I agree that it would be good to see photos of people's setup to give help to other photographers.
PS. Love the rant on Fun Pub - spot on

I'm pretty frustrated with FunPub. The credit card issue is only the most recent and truly harmful in a long string of FunPub dropping the ball. The only reason I'm a member is for the Botcon discount and the exclusive figures (though some of the figures are also examples of FunPub fucking up).
The condition of the TFCC website has been pathetic for years. Frankly, it screams "amateur". Maybe Hasbro should consider employing webdesigners from some of the TF fansites, all of which look and function better than the Club site.
Despite the naughtily worded FunPub sentiments, this is a great start to the day, and to wedding week. Five more days! Take care, Seibertronians, see ya'll in Dallas for Fustercluck 2012!

Yeah that's what I kinda thought to. Anyway Fun Episode, Mr. CounterPunch Good Sir I believe you should use profanity more on behalf of the Community and not just with Fun pub (Dirty Bastards) and I can say that safely, say the former, because I kinda had theft of something you mentioned at the end happen to me.

aliasangel wrote:Cool topic on toy photography. I been interested in doing that for about two years now and haven't stop shooting tiny little figures. It is such a great hobby to get into for any new comers. Nice tips Counterpunch. I think more and more people will get more satisfaction once they know how to handle lighting correctly.

The reason I wanted to post, though, is just to comment on the identity theft issue. I, and a few other people I've talked to, have had a rash of spam email and telemarketer calls since the FunPub breach went down. Many of the telemarketer calls, when I ask them how they got my number, state that I am a previous customer. These aren't random calls, either, as they usually ask for me by name. The worst ones are the calls trying to get me to buy porn (and not the robot kind illustrated above). I have two young daughters at home, and I don't want one of them to pick up the phone and hear someone talking about that stuff. Or worse, if my wife answers and they describe me as a "long time preferred customer!" Besides that, I work nights, and the damn telemarketer calls interrupt my sleep during the day.
At any rate, when trying to figure out what caused this spike, the only thing I can attribute it to is that FunPub's database had our phone numbers. I was lucky that my card wasn't hit before I pre-empitvely canceled it, but that was simple to fix and is done with. Who knows how many companies are going to end up with my phone number or email address? This issue of telemarketer calls, spam email, and God know what else, will probably be going on for years.
I've decided to send FunPub my message with my wallet. I'm done with the TFCC and BotCon until they can demonstrate some better level of customer understanding. Most of their comments on message boards and Twitter seem condescending to the fans. They also have the balls to ask us to store our credit card information AGAIN on their new store website. Well, they can try to auto renew my membership as much as they want, since the only card they have is the one I was forced to cancel because of them.
Hope to see some of you at TFCON!
