Got to say I hate the IDW designs though. Its one of the main reasons I stopped reading TF comics.
So I hate these IDW designed toys
I think they got it backwards. Hasbro should have made them make their comics look like hasbro toys and not the other way around

re the Metroplex, I like the picutre of the Optimus Prime looking out from one of his neck windows.
Maybe E-hobby will repurpose this as Metrotitan!!
Pity you could not touch but I have to skip much of the beast hunters and save up for the 30th anniversary Springer- cool: Blitzwing - better
yes, leave the wreckers as individual wreckers ( thank you Nick Roche, one throwaway comment in your comic and a whole toy comes out of it, Last stand--"Wreckers combine")
Not a huge fan of kreo, got my only kreon "free" on a uk transformers magazine
but great work, and we'll hopefully hear from you again soon.

Same problem here. It doesn't appear as though the RSS feed has been updated yet.

I beg to differ. That Toys R Us or the FAO Schwartz (which is basically another TRU) always has relatively new products every time I've been there for Toy Fair and for NYCC. The problem you have with a store in that prominent of a location is that other people are getting the good stuff before you get there, and it's kind of a paint to get to unless you live nearby or are visiting. FAO Schwartz has basically the same prices as the Times Square Toys R Us so I'm not sure what you mean by "who can't afford to go", especially since it's free to go to.

Thanks for letting us know. The info was all there but I had this podcast dated to display on the 20th, which is when the next podcast was due to air (my script automatically populates the date to be two weeks after the last podcast, I have to manually change the date if it's a special episode).

I should've said, can't afford to buy anything from FAO. Keep in mind it has a snack bar where you can buy a $125 sundae, I kid you not so it caters to a more money crowd. Going back to the 1980's and since it reopened several years ago FAO has always been $5-$10 more; and since the reopening hasn't carried much if any mainline toys (Transformer, GI Joe, Marvel etc) This might've changed recently as I haven't gone in a while.
Every time someone messages me about going to the Time Square TRU they tell me it's stocked with product that's several months old, at least as it pertains to Transformers and Joe; I can't speak on other lines. The prices I've been quoted are also roughly $4 more than my local TRU's in Douglaston and College Point Queens NY (QUEENS REPRESENT!!!!) Ahem, sorry. Now judging as to when Toy-Fair and NYCC are it's quite possible that's when they do their restock; we'll have to see 3 months from now how it is. I am glad that you were able to find some new stuff as the other guys WOJM? Were quite disappointed that there wasn't any Joe stuff out.

Orion Pax's body, IIRC, was really only shown in Spotlight Orion Pax, and Megatron's alternate mode was only officially revealed comic-wise in this month's Spotlight Megatron. Trailbreaker(cutter) was featured in MTMTE #3 back in March 2012. So the turn around between conception to physical toy molding is a lot faster than I, and I guess alot of other people, think it is. If they are going the path that Bob suggests, that a toy is accompanying every Spotlight, then I think that the Bumblebee toy is simply just occupying Thundercracker's slot.
Good news however if the Spotlight scheme is in fact true, then as the May Solicits show, we are going to get another Hoist, albeit probably a Trailbreaker repaint

One word: Brothers
More words: and they do NOT get along.
Wrecker?: they both served, but at different times. The second thinks he was brought in because he looks, fights, and transforms like the first.
That's the wonderful thing about 3rd party figures that homage with unique designs. At first it fills a void, but should Hasbro decide to be awesome (I don't know what they've been smoking this year, but somebody ship them more of it) they are unique enough to take repurposing into another character like a fish to water.
I'm loving the new lines. I haven't decided if I'm going to get Metroplex.

Bruticus:
Predaking:
Superion:
Devastator:
A few key points:
I replaced the torso that the combiner arms attach to with one of the spare clear ones from the 2012 main sets. I was afraid of repeated transformations snapping those fragile ball joints.
I used the extra torsos and legs to make hands, pegging the weapons into the side ports that are usually used for wings or tires.
There aren't a lot of great ways to use the heads, and I think you kinda end up stuck with them.
Predaking's back guns were a pain, and I was able to use the extra combiner hinge to solve it.
