The recent fire at Universal Studios Hollywood has seen the destruction of several attractions and sets on the backlot. Unfortunately, one of those was the set that stood in for the Mission City battle near the climax of the live action Transformers Movie. You can learn more by clicking here.

Who says it was unplanned? This smells like insurance scam to me...

Well, that sucks. But at least no one was hurt and sets can always be rebuilt if necessary.

Yeah, I heard the Back to the Future set was destroyed too. Now that sucks.

It was the Decepticons! They were looking for the film reel that had that device from wheeljack's lab and they set about to destroy it. Check under the rubble of the one building, I am sure you'll find Starscream's body.

PROOF that transformers exist.
