Starscream is the Air COMMANDER, not a simple Warrior, no?

Anyway, that looks effing brilliant, I hope they make a bilingual version so that I can find it in Quebec.

Beautiful packaging for a beautiful figure. Very suitable for MISB display... not that mine is going to stay MISB.

I love it! I have the Japanese version (which I still like as a stand alone figure), but I can't wait to pick this one up!

In my opinion this guy looks better than the original Masterpiece. I might get this one if my wallet isn't to worn out from the movie figures.

Outside of the horrible packaging that will make it near impossible to find a mint box to display what the hell is up with that price? That is not even a JPN Lucky Draw figure and it will be in wide distribution fairly soon.

If they ever did it, & that would be a very big if, it would be heavily modified to make sure that it complied with toy gun safety laws. My guess is they would forego the easily removable orange cap & possibly go so far as to make the plastic that goes into making the barrel orange instead of silver.

....But I'd say it's pretty safe to say that Megs simply will not happen.

Anyways, I think its a wonderful addition to my collection and as far as displaying it.. well...

MISB is just fine by me considering I have waited for them to do this for about 8 years. and with the MP Version they really came close, but it just goes to show, you can feel like 1,500.00 Bucks in a new outfit!!!

And are the Decepticon symbols supposed to be upside down on the wings? You're supposed to see the symbols right side up as Screamer is flying toward you, and when he transforms, the symbols are top side up. I'm nit-pickin'...

could be wrong but, i think they're that way on the original G1 toy as well...though you're right, most of the other toys and even the cartoons/movie have them right side up

On mine they are right side up like I was saying--the opposite of this MP Screamer. It has been ages, but I think I applied them that way. The MP just looks odd to me. Hopefully, they aren't molded into the wings that way...

It just looks dumb to me for the symbols to be facing the way they are...no offense to anyone who likes it that way...

I want it so bad when it hits Wal-Wart...

Starscream and the other seekers have always had their symbols upside down in the TV show. I will prove this with this picture from the TransFormers Movie

The only drawback I have on it is the package, it seems a bit plain for the figure, but I don't care, since I will most likely open it.

What does it mean by double-sided tape? As far as I can tell the guy circled nothing that implied double-sided tape.

"Not intended for children under 3 years of age." No f'ing duh, because a three-year-old would break the living slag out of it in about two seconds. Anyone who buys a $60, extremely breakable collector's item for their toddler to play with is just an idiot. If the child didn't choke on a small part, the parent would probably end up killing it some other way anyway. Natural selection would take its course.

While I am glad this figure is available I do not like the packaging. Compared to the Takara boxes it looks cheap for the Masterpiece Range.

Also, does it show if he comes with the stand etc? The pictures kept failing to load completely.

The packaging is pretty......plain. But it's nice to see the toy from all angles in the package. And as nice as the japanese mp boxes are, they would just drive the price up here. When is this thing supposed to hit shelves here in the US? And as for megs, They'd never release megs here. They would orange tip the whole barrel or something. I ripped that plastic plug from his barrel as soon as i could!

Has anyone heard any speculation on the release date yet?

That WOULD be nice, wouldn't it? Never got Masterpiece Prime because of the price but if Starscream's a relatively good price and readily available here (which I doubt for some reason) I'll get him for sure. And yes the colors are like a hundred thousand times better than the TakaraTomy release.

The japanese one is plastic as well, with only a bit of die-cast just for some of the hinges.

In all honesty, die-cast is overrated. Hell, even in G1 toys, they barely had any die-cast to them. Look at soundwave. The only die-cast he had on him was his toes. Prime-chestplate & toes. Megs-arm supports & toes. Sideswipe & Red alert-their legs. But the rest of those figures was purely plastic.

Hope my local Wal-Mart (or the ones in driving distance) manages to get this in. I don't care for the packaging, was hoping it would look a lot more like the 20th Prime. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers.

I'm getting one, I passed on MP03 because I knew this was coming, I didn't know Hasbro'd be doing it, but I knew it was coming... now that it's almost here, nothing will stop me.

yeah thats sweet! I will be getting one for sure. Who cares about the box? buy it take it out and play with it! I will just pretend my takara mp screamer is thundercracker now.

cant wait for seibertron to get this figure to do a side by side comparison of the this figure and the japanese figure i judge better with images.

for some having trouble loading images this one alos includes two differnt version heads intchangeable, and a display stand from ive seen on the box i dont see where or how they could fit the stand in that box but thats what it says but thats what i got from looking at the images ill be getting this one but for some reasone the japanese version looks like it has more dteail than this version.

I honestly was going to try to save up and get takaras masterpeice even though it had a very wierd color scheme but i think that hasbro has proved thier worth wiht this repaint so ill be getting G1 style when it winally comes out Go me.

the stand is right under its feet....its easier to see in the pics where its an angle looking down. you can see the grey piece and see the beginning where his name is written....i couldnt see it at first either, had to look a few times..lol

but i'm pretty sure its been right side up on the series. though considering how many animation mistakes that thing had, it could easily have just been mistakes everytime lol

I hope those annoying twisty-ties don't scuff up the paint job

If Hasbro does release Megs, I hope they do something like I did in this picture( I came across an extra set of MP Megs gun sword and KREEMZEK) instead of adding a plain orange safety cap.
