Both debuted this weekend. Only the 2* versions are available at the moment, 3* and 4* versions in the morning after the event.

So far, 5 bot combiners have been coming out. The only 6 bot combiner is Devastator ( Are there any other 6 bot combiner teams, toys or fiction wise, targetmasters don't count)

It'd be a bit odd for at least Victorion not to be six bot, considering Rust Dust is both in-game, and really clearly slapped on her chest like the toy. Plus the Autobots don't have a six-team yet, right? So it'd just even out the combiners.

Raiden - Trainbots
Landcross - Multiforce
Liokaiser - Breastforce
Dinoking/Monstructor - Dinoforce/Monster Pretenders

Superion is a six bot combiner for game purposes, Powerglide forms his gun. So far all combiners have been roughly equal to each other in composition and abilities, but evidently Menasor is going to be five parts while Victorion is six. Apparently the reasoning is that the Rust Renegades have all been in the game since launch while Motormaster is a fairly new character who will have been harder to get at 3 or 4 stars.

I guess that makes sense. I was kinda hoping for Offroad to be put in somehow.

I was betting on one of Offroad, Brake-Beck, or Dead End taking the chest car slot somehow. Apparently not. Therefore I'm not sure why they even added him, since the game was released after Combiner Wars was mostly over.

There were some good alliances out there, and I fully understood the expectations, but trying to squeeze as much playing time in during weekend events just became untenable.
Freedom from it has been wonderful.

Also, Burn is super right. It had become a chore to spend all my time on this thing, especially on my already busy weekends. Worse yet? Some people have a very large, expendable income so even if I used all my power cells perfectly and worked the cooldowns perfectly, I wouldn't even make a dent in some of the higher performers. It kind of felt like ramming my forehead into a wall for seventy two hours and getting nothing but useless two star novelties for it.

I stopped playing some months ago cos out of the two transformers mobile games on my phone i only really wanted to have one of them and Forged to Fight has the movie bots I so much prefer over G1(esque) so making it even more G1 isn't gonna pull me back to it. Plus i far prefer a much closer view of robots smashing up each other so FtF is more my thing in other ways.

Exactly this. And Alliances were getting more and more competitive so you either spent big (and then only ended up with a 3*) or go away. Loyalty meant nothing to those with Trust Funds.

I forgot how much funds people threw in to this game. I couldn't keep up at all with Seibertron's team that I was on with Cobotron and carytheone. They left before I did, but ultimately I just said "So long, and thanks for all the fish."
It was fun at the beginning building a base and stuff, but unlike Sim City or The Simpsons: Tapped Out you can't just go on forever without throwing in a bunch of money.

New Transformers Characters SENTIUS MAGNUS and SENTIUS MALUS Roll Out in TRANSFORMERS: EARTH WARS September 14
Learn More During Livestream with Transformers Writer Simon Furman on September 6, 2018
On September 14th, Hasbro Inc. will add two new characters to the Transformers universe; say hello to the SENTIUS TWINS, SENTIUS MAGNUS and SENTIUS MALUS. Both characters will make their debut in TRANSFORMERS: EARTH WARS, the award-winning combat strategy mobile game available for free from Space Ape Games and Backflip Studios on the App Store and Google Play.
In the early days of Cybertron, the home world of the Transformers bots, SENTIUS NOBILIUS served as an honorable guardian of the relics of the PRIMES, the gods of the Transformers universe. To do this task he was given a sword of legendary power, the SWORD OF BALANCE, a blade with the power of creation and destruction. He was betrayed by one of the PRIMES, who, using his own sword against him, split his spark in two. This destroyed SENTIUS NOBILIUS, but created two new sibling warriors: SENTIUS MAGNUS, the guardian of light, and SENTIUS MALUS, the guardian of darkness. Each of these bots now carries one half of the sword, which was split. SENTIUS MAGNUS now fights for the Autobots, and SENTIUS MALUS for the Decepticons. Fans can get a sneak-peek at both characters by checking out today’s announcement trailer.
Transformers writer Simon Furman will be doing a livestream with Space Ape Games developers on Thursday, September 6 at 4:00 p.m. UTC, diving into the story behind the SENTIUS TWINS and providing a look at the characters and game update. Fans can tune in to the livestream by visiting: twitch.tv/transformersearthwars.
TRANSFORMERS: EARTH WARS is a real-time combat strategy game that surpassed 10 million downloads within its first year. The game pairs authentic Transformers storytelling with fast-paced gameplay, beautiful 3D animation and hundreds of iconic characters with diverse strengths and abilities. Download TRANSFORMERS: EARTH WARS for free on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, and on Google Play for Android devices. For more information, visit www.TransformersEarthWars.com.

Instead, it's...Roulette and Shadow Striker as male samurai who symbolize yin and yang. Sort of.

Also.. a hero and a villain who each own one half of a sword. Wasn't that the Power Sword thing in the original He-Man mini-comics you got with the figures (before the cartoon ignored all that)

Maybe new characters for SIEGE
A Leader class figure called SENTIUS NOBILIUS that can split into two Voyager class sized figures.
But their transformation and alt modes remind me pretty much of the new Cyberverse SHOCKWAVEs.
Posted by Skritz on September 4th, 2018 @ 2:23pm CDT
That said, one of them has a bow which is a weapon which doesn't get enough love as a TF weapon, so I'd be fine with them getting figures in Siege, especially if they get reworked into Bludgeon and Banzaitron.

Yes, that is in fact a true statement. Whether that's a good or bad thing...remains to be seen, at this point. I do love me some Overwatch, but copy-pasting Overwatch character backgrounds/personalities onto new characters in other franchises does not inherently make me like those characters or make those characters good.
Skritz wrote:That said, one of them has a bow which is a weapon which doesn't get enough love as a TF weapon, so I'd be fine with them getting figures in Siege, especially if they get reworked into Bludgeon and Banzaitron.
I don't see a Shockwave-crab-walker-tank working for Bludgeon, honestly, given he's mostly just been a regular tank. Figures of these two could be cool though, and a Banzaitron repaint has potential since Banzaitron can't seem to stick to a reoccurring alt mode anyway. I think I'd only buy the Decepticon Malus version though, as Magnus and Malus seem like they'd just be repaints of each other, and they'd have to do some retooling on Banzaitron to convince me there. Regardless of what I do or don't buy though, I would be happy to see these two get Siege figures, as it would be more Generations figures of characters that aren't just the G1 cast again.
Overall, new characters are always welcome from my perspective, but they do still have to be good characters.
Posted by Skritz on September 4th, 2018 @ 5:46pm CDT
Edit: I've thought about it and one issue I have with their design is that they are too similar. Yes they are twins but generally speaking in the franchise twins tend to share a mold but at least have some retooled elements. I think one place where they screwed up is that they should have designed his 'whole' first and given some elements of his design to one and the other elements to the other. Example, say that the whole has both a visor and mouth plate...one could have had a mouthplate and the other the visor.
Posted by Black Bumblebee on September 4th, 2018 @ 6:05pm CDT
These, however... they look dumb. I'm sorry. I hope they turn out to be cool, but my initial reaction is... "meh."
In game, though, I'm guessing these will be some sort of powerful weapons for either defending a base or attacking it. Still... meh.
Future, please prove me wrong.

Doubtful, his spark was split in 2 and thus formed 2 very opposite twins.

I can see them becoming game exclusives, and the only way to get them is via a leaderboard tournament and even then it's only open to US citizens.
...my disdain for Space Ape is still showing isn't it?

Skritz wrote:Well, at least the good half gets bonus point for the bow as I mentionned: bows are criminally underused in Transformers and there is a logic to a samurai-themed Transformers using a bow, namely that the bow was the default ranged weapon of the Samurai. People associate them with the katana and its relatives, but Samurai were trained in a variety of weapons, including the bow and naginata.
I agree about bow usage being cool, but the little trailer video-thing shows both bots using bows though, so so far they're still basically identical other than one is good and one is evil and their paint schemes.

I was referring to the whole cut-by-a-magic-sword-now-he's-two-guys-somehow: from all we know of TF lore across various continuities, the only instances of a spark being separated in two Beast Wars's Rampage/Protoform X whose removed half later powered Dinobot II. Now maybe I'm reading too much into the backstory of some crummy z-list game-only character but:
-Connected to the Primes (with a reference to the plural, meaning the whole host of the Thirteen, not just the Matrix-Bearer)
-Sword theme (In Aligned, Nexus took custody of the Star Saber, Cyber Caliber, Chaos Edge and Blade of Time)
-Cut with magic sword
-It magically make him two distinct entities
Across various bits of TF Lore, there's a lot of references to macguffin swords and Nexus Prime's sometimes-origin of being split into distinct components. So, it seem to me like the macguffin sword of the guy could have been tied to Nexus Prime specifically. Hence why he just poofed and became two distinct entities rather than, you know die. Because of Nexus' connection to separation and reconnection.
But that's all speculation on my part.
