The two sets feature Optimus Prime vs Grimlock (both repaints of previous Legion figures), and Bumblebee vs Megatron (a repaint and a new mold!). Check it out.

Give it your new shoes. Give Primus an offering and appease him!

No, and if you'll excuse me Devastator won't bow down to himself!

It is nice figure already got mine on preorder look forward see detail on figure up close

But yeah, anyway. Macho Mech Nitro Zeus will be mine.

Also, I personally see no point of owning an eventual re-release of the '07 movie leader Optimus because I already have the super chromed Premium version and it's AMAZING. They'd better do something special for the re-release.
Still, if anyone who don't have the mold at all you should consider the eventual re-release. Even though it's NOTHING like the movie, '07 Leader Prime is a great toy by itself. Almost like those classic/movie hybrid toys they did after.

Black Hat wrote:All these people wanting to replace poor Nitro Zeus' head with Thunderwing...He's beautiful just the way he is, OK?In all seriousness this guy looks totally amazing. If I see him I'll be buying him. Probably. I will say though, if it weren't for the fact I like him as is, I'd be tempted to buy 3 of him and 3 of the same TM, do some custom work, get some Shapeways faceplates and make them into a Seeker trio. That design would have made an amazing Seeker and I kinda wish we'd got that instead of Doritoscream.
But yeah, anyway. Macho Mech Nitro Zeus will be mine.
I'm strongly considering a Guardian Leader-1 faceplate, myself. Being he's a grey jet, seems appropriate.
Cartoon style? or toy style?
Could look great with a Cyberjet or Machine Wars style head, too.

ALso damn, that TRU display is awesome!
That's gorgeous man, great job
Thank you! He just had a lot of sculpted detail so I had to try my hand at him.
Those pics of Nitro look good, and I love that it seems his cockpit is Titan Master compatible. Can't wait to add him to my Decepticon display.

we get a look at nitro in slightly better lightning, and scorn in action pose.

Well, potato cam's photos are better than nothing I guess. :/
Look neat, but I'll skip. My AoE fruity dinobots display is perfect as it is.

I wonder who they'll use for Goldenface...

Sadly, I don't $150 before tax love it. Maybe if it drops down to $100.

That's why when I responded to Scorn's pictures, I did:
About...
It's a quick way not to be lost. Maybe that's a feature that could be programmed in? When responding to a news article, a tiny "quote" could automatically appear above the typed text in the post.
A suggestion for Seibertron and Admins.

Hum... Basic perspective, dude. Deluxe Scorn is IN FRONT. Put it in the back, and it'll look like a scout.
Let's wait for better comparison shots, shall we?

Illusion via forced perspective.
EDIT: And the deluxe has taller spines.

Ok that was a bit patronising (especially since I've been a graphic designer and artist in the past so do know something about all that)

This robot mode pic does make the voyager look considerably bigger. I really don't like those dino arms hanging off the shoulder though.

Yep as I mentioned before that would work for me! So I gotta buy that Siege on Cybertron set and sell off the toys that aren't Magnus Prime and Thunderwing. Damn my usual supplier has sold out of that box set already?

At this point, for the US, the set is sold out everywhere (BBTS exclusive). Your best bet might be to do the reverse - just buy Thunderwing. Unless he gets ridiculously priced. If you live outside the US, I feel really silly right now.

I am in UK so yeah it would be even harder to find. And yeah I can see a couple Thunderwing heads but they're like £18 each. Same price as a Deluxe Titans figure and that's way too much just for a head.

Not really when Hasbro started it with Cogman being a Titans Return style figure.

Kurona wrote:The extra plastic seems to have gone into bulking out the Dino's anatomy rather than outright making him taller -- the legs, tail and head are all much beefier than the deluxe's.
Maybe the two are as tall in dino mode. But I'm sure the voyager will be much, much bulkier. I'll wait a comparison shot of the exact front and above.
By the way, "Thunderwing" look neat, but not neat enough for me to spend that much money on this boxset. Especially because I only care about the Titan Master Thunderwing.

He's actually pretty decent. Fun transformation, really cool accessories and backpack aside he looks great in both modes. I dig him a lot.

My biggest complaint is he looks pretty stumpy next to a lot of other movieverse Deluxes.

...Hey, stop it, what are you doing!?!

When you get him in the right pose, though, my god he's so good.

So yeah, a nice little cop-bot. I wouldn't pay full price though, he's fun but he's not THAT fun.

Black Hat wrote:My biggest complaint is he looks pretty stumpy next to a lot of other movieverse Deluxes.
He's a lot of fun. To be fair with the size though, that Battle Blade Bumblebee is overly large for a Deluxe, so much so that the Takara 2014 re-release is classed as a Voyager despite being the exact same toy with a new paintjob.
Barry's a bit smaller than most Deluxe Bees but he's still bigger than some others, Drift for example.

I posted this in the TF Toy Haul thread earlier as I got Berserker for about £15 today (usual about £23). Building up a nice lil squad of TLK cons. And deluxe Starscream is there just cos.

Perhaps a remould is possible with a lot of new jet parts - that would help.
I don't mind if the use that mould for a version of Thunderwing sometime - even if it's not until 2019 - It might be a good idea for Hasbro to push the Movie in advance with some HFTD/TF2010 style releases that actually scope some interest.
That is if they don't cripple their market entirely with chronic over pricing before then.

Not bad I think. It's still a lot of junk underneath, but nothing particularly robot shaped like most Silverbolts.

I fear the price it will go in store, but I'll be willing to pay it. The thing is MAGNIFICENT!
Let's just hope it will not have some random quality issues like Steelbane or something...

Ah well. A man can dream.
Outside of legends scale how is this realistically possible?
It would also make a heavy unstable Dragon as well that probably would collapse to the weight.

It COULD be done. I mean, it'd be huge and expensive, but it's possible. After all, for years we thought combiners were impossible and yet now here we are with myriad combiners, both official and unofficial.
Of course, a movie-accurate 12-figure Dragonstorm would be impossible as the CG models cheat to hell and back, but something that takes the base concept (twelve Knights that combine into a three-headed dragon) and takes a few liberties with the design to get a good-looking, stable dragon could be done, though it'd require 3P/MP level budget to work. If you skipped the individuals having their own alt modes (which is how the movie did it anyway) it'd be even easier.
Topic: I kinda want to scoop up Steelbane and Skullitron (who will be getting the floor polish treatment for their poor joints) and a bunch of miscellaneous dragon/beast Transformers, like the Beast Hunters Predacons, do a little bit of customizing here and there, and have my very own twelve Knights of Cybertron. Not with the intention of being movie accurate (because the movie kinda sucked and the Knights didn't really do anything) but because the concept of twelve Transformer counterparts to the Knights of the Round Table is awesome in the extreme and I want to do the concept justice.
