While we use the "Earthrise" moniker, it is just used here as a placeholder name until we know how this is actually getting released. It could be a Generations Selects for all we know.

Yeah, something weird is definitely up with the distribution of the Deluxe figures. Everything else has been slowly trickling out, but not Deluxe Wave 2. I managed to get the Wave 2 Micromaster sets last week, The Astro Squad and the Race Track Patrol, but now all that I see is Wave 1 Micromaster leftovers and Wave 3, which is apparently just a repack of Direct Hit and Power Punch. I've only spotted the Wave 2 Battle Masters once so far, and in that case, it was just a bunch of leftover Rung repacks and no sign of Slitherfang.

I'm pretty sure there was a Target Listing with him identified as WFC E41, which would make him part of Earthrise, so I don't think you need the quotes.

Well, if Biosphera is going to mostly use beasts, and those would likely be repaints of Kingdom figures, then I'm thinking that planet might be one of the last ones in order to possibly let the regular release versions of those figures make it out first.
My bet would be on Micron since Hasbro has only put out a few micros in Earthrise so far as compared to Siege.

Okay, so apparently Amazon/Hasbro has already set the order of the planets, it is right on the listing for the Paradon set. Micron is next, followed by Biosphera, then Dominus and finally Botropolis.

:p
Is it a bird, is it a plane, is it selects or is it earthrise?*... WFC-E33 Centurion is decent, it's just brunt after all. Really feels like it could have done with oversizing to be more menacing - hasbro have more ways of reusing something other than just repainting it as I'd happily buy a bigger version, weaponising be darned. Hopefully they stop making army builders exclusives, just release the guy at retail with out the accs and give runabout some wave mates.
Edit: CAUTION, megatrons ball accessory needs the peg shaving down to avoid breaking the peg when trying to remove it from the hand. It's a tight fight upside down and whilst it looks slightly possible to put it in the hand the right way up, it leaves no wibble room to remove it.
The energon cubes don't have pegs but little holes blast effect sized and whilst probably the right size, kinda surprised me as I'm sure they are bigger than other official energon cubes I have (mp, Tf collection/ehobby insecticons) but it has been awhile since they are in storage.
Optimus is teeny tiny (same size as the rod/galv slugs with Unicron). Would have been nice to have a tiny megatron so that bots can have an angel and devil on their shoulders but it is going to be one of the first things to get lost.
Shockwaves a little dull, could really have used paint. Megatron, whilst not accurate, it's a gun and that is all that matters. Soundwave is bigger than blaster/twincast (the ones that came with mp tracks) so that has to be a first.
*we will find out if I get warned for posting in the wrong thread, but I think I can rule out its not a bird or a plane.

That is part of it, but I also think it is more Hasbro being weird. I ordered early enough to get the mistake price of $20, but I only got my shipping notice this morning and they haven't even left the distribution center yet while others have already received theirs. Others that did not get the mistake price had theirs ship already, so who knows how Hasbro is running things.
One guess is that I ordered 2 instead of 1, so maybe that held things up for me?

Wolfman Jake wrote:Woot! Just got my Quintesson Pit of Judgement set ordered from HasbroPulse.com! That was a relatively painless process for a convention exclusive order, I must say. The site didn't crash and everything worked as it was supposed to, included the checkout queue. I did have to reload a page due to an error and enter my payment info twice, but I've got my order confirmation emails and everything now. Good luck, everyone! Get one while you can!
I got some non-TF items from the sale. I think the big difference this time around is that this isn't just remaining stock left over from SDCC, or a small portion of merchandise allocated for online sales. Since there was no physical convention this year, ALL of the product that was made for the event is available. No one's fighting over crumbs at this point.

Skywarp was only a thing if you didn't order him. Or is this related to being outside the US (which I can't help with)?
I got my Pit of Judgement from Pulse. Everything went through fine, but I had to do the longest CAPTCHA I've ever seen. I wanted to get some other items, like the Arc Troopers and Cobra Commander, but I didn't have as much spending cash as I'dve hoped.

I'd get that out of there ASAP and shave it down. I tried to put mine in, and it sealed itself in and by the time I pushed it out with another long 5mm peg, the handle had already cracked, eerily similar to the mace from my Botcon Megatron, which sealed itself in a peg and then snapped off coming out

I believe the designer thought he was making a rifle for a properly sized Leader Optimus Prime. I also believe the rifle is meant for the Netflix release that apparently doesn't come with the transforming rifle.

Well until this year, I would have said no chance, but with Hasbro recently re-releasing Redwing, who was a Target exclusive in the US, I would now say there is a chance for a similar online release next year. Probably doesn't really help in your decision. I just took a peek on Amazon and ouch!

I'd try to wait out Takara. They are releasing Skywarp and Ratchet from last year, so I would not doubt coneheads are in their future

I'm certain that Takara will release them somehow. Another option is Amazon UK which is a recognized 3rd party seller on Amazon. Apparently people are getting figures from them and they're legit. The prices are a little higher than Amazon US and you have to pay shipping but it's better than nothing.

Yes, options, as in I just posted the first option of where to buy a mass-retail, low-price point figure that is literally made for army-building which happens to be a term I learned here so I am far from the only person who does it. And if you clicked the link instead of worrying about my purchase you'd see there are plenty still in stock. As a matter of fact, the limit is now six, which I only brought up because the actual Amazon-exclusive two-packs have limits of 30 and not 1 or 2 like Pulse has been doing lately.

Well, that explains the Coneheads getting scalped so much, while Pulse seemingly doesn't have that issue with other sets...

That is good to know. Omega was so popular in fact, he is getting another release in January (as are Siege jetfire and a few other items). It's just that in times past, especially between the closure of TRU in the US, there were some major distribution issues with say Trypticon, which was hard to find, then showed up at huge discount to a small retail chain, only for scalpers to use it as a reason to sell them online at inflated prices.
I look at my shelf full of recent Generations Titans, and feel like I've won a small war though. It was quite an ordeal to get some of them, but I'm glad I have them all. Not every fan collects them, for a variety of reasons, but it would be just good to know that nobody missed out.

Funny you bring that up, I'm thinking back to my own history of getting Titans. Metroplex came out right as I could get money for titans, and he was my first ever ebay purchase/auction won. Because I'm thinking about it:
Metroplex: bought January 2014 at auction, $105 shipped.
Devastator: Christmas 2015 bought, $128 shipped
Fort Max: Thanksgiving 2016 bought, $90 shipped
Trypticon: Thanksgiving 2017 bought, $128 shipped
Predaking: July 2018 bought, $170 shipped
Omega: early December 2019 bought, $110 shipped
Scorponok: September 2020 bought, $170 shipped
I only ever bought 2 titans at retail price. And they were all for the most part late purchases after coming out too.
Posted by o.supreme on September 25th, 2020 @ 3:26pm CDT
2016- Fort Max (bought from TRU at full price in July, but used layaway to pay in installments, took home in September)
2017- Trypticon (bought from TRU at full price in October , but used layaway to pay in installments, took home in December)
2017- Purchased UW Dev on eBay for $180 shipped
2019- Purchased PotP Predaking in January $110 shipped
2019- Purchased T30 Metroplex MIB on eBay in February $200 shipped
2019- Purchased Legends Grand Max from BBTS on sale in October $180 shipped
2020-Purchased Siege Omega from BBTS in February $170 shipped
2020 Purchased ER Scorponok in late July from Target, normal retail pus 5% redcard discount.
Posted by blackeyedprime on September 25th, 2020 @ 4:15pm CDT
Metroplex at retail Toysrus (after seeing the price of MP10 I thought it was a no brainer though I went back and bought MP10 later)
SDCC Fort Max on sale online A1 toys
Trypticon...the biggest regret, Retail full price Smyths and I chose to get him over Fanstoys Sludge (who to this day I've not got and my dinos are incomplete) whilst Trypticon got the deepest discounts of all titans. On the bright side he has to be the 2nd best titan.
Grand Max on sale Kapow
Unite Warriors Devy from Akihabara preowned.
Scorponok preordered as soon as possible and it came through at a discounted price on top of a money off voucher at amazon. he's definitely my favorite of them all but needs his other shoulder guns (and fast track whenever wave 3 is out) to feel complete.
Predakings likely to be Weijangs version mainly because hasbro forgot about a reliable UK release. Omegas just something I dont feel the need for with G1 and Grandstand toys good enough for me whilst Black Zarak would be an instant preorder especially from having Scorponok.

Eh, honestly I get the sentiment. I wouldn't walk into Walmart and grab every last one off the rungs. Heck, when I set out to get my five Slitherfangs I did it in two different trips to Target and left behind two or three each time. But this link had already been passed around Twitter, and after my purchase they still showed the same purchase limit. I wouldn't have posted it otherwise, nothing sucks more than finally finding a link and it is out of stock.
What's funny, I just checked the link and it now has a limit of 8. Who knows what's going on. Long week at work so I took it more personal than I should have

Yeah, he's very good. Honestly, I think he's the best titan yet, and not even the supposed Ark titan seems like it will top him. My one and only gripe with him is that his face is gray instead of cream, like other parts of Zarak.
