In addition to the usual review fare of transformation, articulation and so on, Chuck also runs through the retooling done to the figure, comparisons to Repugnus' Monsterbot colleague Grotusque, further looks at the option to swap in the Titans Return Repugnus Titan Master for the head, and more. Check out the video below, and share your thoughts on the Energon Pub Forums!
Repugnus is the second Amazon exclusive figure from the Prime Wars trilogy representing Titans Return. A heavy retool of Twinferno, it's closer in appearance to the previously released exclusive Grotusque. An interesting figure in its own right with a fun transformation, Repugnus is a solid choice.

I already watched it and it's a good review.
And here's another good one from Long's Toys:
*I don't know why it's not working.

I also got the *sorry for delay* notice on Repugnus, but I checked tracking , and he's at least in my county now

Also I feel a bit jaded about these exclusives. I mean it's great that Hasbro is offering an all-new toy in Punch/Counterpunch, but I still maintain it's more of a sneak preview for Siege than anything else. Other than coming with a Prime Master (which the others do as well), It's not a true representation of PotP, as it's not a combiner limb. They should have made 4 exclusives, or just released Punch/CP as a regular Siege deluxe.
I mean I'm only getting Repugnus to complete the Monsterbot Trio, which my son wanted more than anything else. I'm Not getting Blastoff since I already have the UW one (a different paint scheme isn't enough to warrant me purchasing it again), and I'm not getting P/CP obviously because it isn't part of a combiner. I may even end up selling the exclusive Solus that comes with Repugnus. I'll eventually have all the regular releases of the 13 PM's, I don't need just one of three exclusive variants.
Speaking of which...Remember we originally saw 15 symbols? How awesome would it have been if the 3 Amazon deluxes came with two of those? P/CP being more of a siege preview could have just been released on his own, without a PM.

I'll be waiting until they're (inevitably) on clearance, then pick up an Inferno on the cheap. It'll be fun to make a red-only combiner out of Inferno, CW Ironhide, Novastar...
And check out my review for Inferno if you haven't seen it yet!

Daddy bug loves his lil larva!

Then he ate him. Because that's what weird bug monsters do.

Repugnus is a decent figure. I like his Hasbro Headmaster head a bit better, and swapped it out before putting him next to Doublecross (Twinferno) and Grotusque on my shelves. I’m just happy Hasbro didn’t leave us with two Deluxe scale Monsterbots and tiny Repugnus.

T30 throwback, or Siege preview, whatever you want to call it. But the fact remains P/CP while probably a great new toy, should not have the PotP label as it isn't a representation of that line.

You could just consider the Throne of the Primes to be the "Power of the Primes" exclusive representative instead. It definitely fits the PotP theme.
