We'll have to keep an eye open for Drift and Squeek too.

Indeed! Also, that paint REALLY feel "Premier".
However, it does give me some TR Skullcrunsher PTSD.
My Pledge Floor Polish will be pretty useful.

Actually the only reason I picked up Hound is because I thought it would be fun for him to roll with the Dwarves. Imagine my glee when I found he could wield an ax!

He didn't use Sqweeks gun as a left arm which balances out the figure muchly. But good reviews otherwise. I'm tempted by Steelbane for sure.

So a new drop might be imminent on that - unless they just saw the poster and assumed that was the case.
Oh and I'm super pleased that Steelbane can not only fly he can also be displayed with the wings like a cape or flying robot - so that is kinda awesome - all he needs is some clear nail polish on some of those joints and he's good to go !
Though I might be tempted to finish the filigrated chest markings in silver that are only partially painted - but I think he's far out in front in terms of which toy i'm looking forwards to this year even above and beyond various 3rd party releases and Trypticon - he's totally my sorta thing. I'm tripping over myself in glee at the thought of Wei Jiang overscaling him.

I would've so loved a toy of this version of Bee
but i guess if there were to be an ancient version of him released as a toy they'd prob go with the mercedes

I...I don't know how to feel about the paintjob, because the "ancient" effect on most of his armor DOES look sick, buuut the way the center of his chest also looks regal...I kinda wish they had stuck to one or the other, because I like bothe the worn wash and the clean, layered look...from what I can tell, there will be more than one guys with a similar design, so why didn't Hasbro roll with that? Imagine one being fully grimey and rusty and a shiny, newly armored one? I would've wanted both!
And yeaaah, size aside, he's pretty loose, a shame considering he's excelently articulated!
I agree with Optibotimus, Steelbane should've been a voyager.

I haven't seen a single thing that i want yet.
Steelbane is no exception. Fiddly transformation, weak joints and his feet are showing in wyvern mode which is incredibly lazy.

I've only got Prime, Sqweeks and Barricade so far but nothing much on them I'd call fiddly at all. Really happy with them.

most are not happy about the RRP, mind you, £65 for a Leader Class is very steep! considering that most want that Leader Megs

And that the Leaders were about 15 or 20 quid less than than a few years ago including the same Leader Optimus. Made my mind up for ages that I'm getting the rather fine Voyager Megatron for various reasons anyways so I'll pass on that expensive Leader as nice as it is.

Yeah, I'm right there with you. Neither the Bayformers nor the bulk of the new headmasters are jumping off the shelf at me. I suppose its just as well. Most of the stores around here barely have any shelf space designated for them anyway.

Nice. And I agree with the reviewer that it does seem there isn't a bad Megatron toy thus far in this line. Even this mostly one-step-changer looks pretty awesome and has a satisfying transformation for it's relative simplicity. Berserker's nice too.
