3rd place out of 4 doesn't sound like one of the better ones to me!
Want this figure, but can someone tell me if these are in scale with each other?

A little sad they didn't include the WFC version of Laserbeak though. I mean.. he always comes with a Laserbeak (or Ravage).

Very true yet at the same time, think about the size. That is not a very big chest cavity and any minions that would come out would be ridiculously tiny and likely poorly done. I'm happy with this fig as is I think...

I doubt even they could pull it off. That space can't be more than a half inch by an inchand a half inch deep...that abou 1/3 the size of your average jump drive. One can dream, yes, but reality is looking a little harsh in this case.

WST Soundwave had Ravage. Tiny and un-detailed true, but it is still better to have than not have. Titanium Soundwave had a tiny chest cavity and a Laserbeak, and in this instance Laserbeak was pretty detailed.
Point-being it can be done, and it is better to have the accessory than not.

BB could be the exception though.....he's the best looking BB i've seen from any TF line.

The WFC figures are from the Generations line.

These four figures would be near perfect for me if they were in scale. Just give me Prime and Megs as voyagers. Bee as a small deluxe. That would have been awesome.

Haha what can i say.. lol I do like all four, and hope to see more in the future. Im just speaking in what if's with the scale. They kill me. I'd love to see Generations take over the number one priority to the HFTD line. Wishful thinking, I know

He can indeed. Forget where I saw the picture, but it's a decent enough version of the in-game look.

Ditto.
Also maybe Hound's Ravage figure? or the original cassettes?
I kind of doubt though.

Not surprising. Optimus Prime is the most common figure if you look at the packing ratio. I deleted my notes after I found everything I was hunting, but as I recall, if you total the first four waves of Generations figures, approximately 1 in every 3 Transformers is a WFC Optimus.

Wait, so this Soundwave figure is going to be a triplechanger?!?! Holy crap! This just adds to the awesomeness of the figure!

All I saw was his packaging, size comparisons, alt. mode and robot mode. No boombox-ish looking alt. mode in there. Either that or I'm just stupid.

Well, looks OK, not entirely thrilled, but I'm still madly in love with this mold. Another dumb ass-ish question, but will this be listed in the instruction manual?
Just watch, they'll repaint/retool him into WFC Blaster. That's not a bad idea, actually....

How did you convert Soundwave in that mode?

Although I could be mistaken, I own all four WFC figs as well as the game, and from what I see, Megs, OP, and SW are in scale. Bumblebee and the upcoming Cliffjumper are the only ones NOT in scale. In the game, Bee is only about two thirds the height of OP, and should be scout class to be in scale with the other deluxe WFC figures.

There are a few Youtube guides that show you how to transform SW into his boombox mode. Basically, you transform his arms the same way you would for his official armorer vehicle mode, but you transform his legs like you would for the Classics/ML toy. Just fold out the bumper "fangs" to act as stabilizers, and Bob's your uncle.
BTW, the boombox mode is an unofficial fan mode. It wasn't originally designed to be able to do that, but it just happens to. Kind of like how the GERWALK mode came about for the VF-1 Valkyries in Macross/RT.
IMO, even Soundwave's "accidental" boombox alt mode looks more complete and thought out than the first ROTF Fallen's bot-yoga alt mode. Wonder what that says about the latter...
