Abejorro1997 wrote:Yeah those are the voyager class figures. Not leader class
Carnivius_Prime wrote:yeah it's blatantly Voyager Megatron and Prime there. I have both. Got Megatron last friday and still loving it. I've no need for the Leader class.
Thank you all, for pointing out what my brain did not, despite watching the whole review twice and checking three times.

And thank you for being nice about...

Especially put side-by-side with voyager Optimus?

i never know primus has 4 modes...
Planet mode, Robot mode, 'I've started to transform and got lazy so I stopped' mode, and my favourite, 'Faceplant' mode.

I hear that! Might just try and get that one.
The colours on Primus are kinda ugly!

Articulation can differ quite a bit, actually. Whether it's a swivel or a balljoint, whether there's articulation in the feet and wrists or not; and then with Legions and Legends it can go from excellent like CW Shockwave to almost non-existent. Besides, it's important to show off the articulation to confirm the extent of it for a potential buyer - I want to know how far a figure can move its arms out, how stiff the ratchets are and whether or not it can pull off certain stances. I know this is apparently very important to you since you say it about every review, but I can assure you there are very good reasons the articulation is shown off.

At first glance, I anticipated the leader Megs to be superior to the voyager due to its presence, its gimmicks/accessories (changing face plate and flame effect parts FTW) and detailing. But now, the voyager stands as the better-engineered figure. It may not match the leader in terms of accessories (the size and the pin in the middle of the fusion cannon really bug me), but its engineering negates many problems which the leader has while coming across as fresh and intuitive. However, the leader still looks to be a fun figure with a good deal of play value!

Yeah again there seems to be no bad Megatron figure so far in this line no matter what the size (and even that retooled Deluxe isn't bad if not quite for me). I went for the Voyager because of the cheaper price and the better scale to my other figures (including Voyager Prime) and I'm very happy with my choice and he looks great on my shelf (and on my desk... he's already become one of my most transformed figures in years especially considering his size and complexity compared to my usual desk-formers). Leader Megatron may have a couple flaws but he has some great things going for him too including that neat face changing gimmick the Voyager does not have. I think they all have their pros and cons but all are great so no matter which version you buy for your personal collection you should be pretty satisfied with him.

This guy looks GORGEOUS! MAN! He even has wrist swivels! I thought he didn't! That makes him SO much better!

And I really can't wait to see new toys. All the stores around here still have wave 1 and there are tons of guys I need to get in wave 3. Wave 2 is decent and does include almost every Megatron I plan to get (which is all but one)

Sighted both MtC Legion 2-packs at a Toys R Us in Canberra. For some odd reason they're $30, making each legion cost $15. Megatron released before the original Megatron.

Also Bumblebee is disappointing, his top half windows are painted and has the extra details but his legs don't have the extra details or paint on the windows.
