The rest of Wave 3, which includes Core Class Dracodon and Soundwave; Deluxes Wingfinger, Predacon Scorponok, Tracks and a Wheeljack repack; and Voyager Rhinox (with a repack of Cyclonus), should be following very shortly, though they're not due for release in the US until late June or early July.
What Wave 3 figures are you excited for, Seibertonians? Are you going to add the crazy Decepticon despot to your collection? If you find any Wave 3 figures elsewhere in the world and the sighting hasn't been on the front page already, please email us and let us know! Happy hunting, Australian fans!

That is kind of the point though... Rodimus shouldn't have been redone. Yes it is a very nicely designed toy, but any new toy is probably going to be be better than the previous version. There are several retreads of legacy characters when there are dozens still from the original 1984-1992 cast that haven't been represented in Generations in almost a decade, some never. If someone thinks waiting 5 years is too much because a character they like didn't turn out so well in the Prime Wars trilogy...try waiting 30+ years.

I'm split on wanting Titans to go away. On one hand, that means more Commander options and chances for somewhat obscure characters... on the other that means no Titan Tidal Wave ever happening.

Either way, not until Summer is in full swing in the Northern hemisphere.

@Overcracker yup Animated. Such a good toyline, I'd love an extension of that series looks to new characters.

For example, my Airazor was slated for May but arrived in March. While Airazor and Huffer were sent out at the same time, Ractonite was held back by a week.

Galvatron is a maybe while that Rodimus is a no way in h3ll unless there's a price drop to Leader class.

Meaning very little chance of them till 2023 at the earliest.

Hmmm... If that's the case then true Japanese G1 fans should've helped us by stepping their votes up back then.
Guess I personally won't be paying for an $80.00 Commander class figure again (if at all) until Deathsaurus becomes the reason.

This is true, however, they have been tiptoeing around Victory characters for the past several lines. CW, TR, PoTP, all featured some kind of referencer or even a figure in some cases. I have a feeling they really want to make them, they just haven't found a place for therm.
And yes 3 Commander class figures would need to be spread out.

If we're looking at characters exclusive to Victory itself, Metalhawk received two figures, Liokaiser got one, Grand Maximus and Black Zarak were easy redecos. Star Saber, Victory Leo, Landcross and Deathsaurus (gotta change that name), none. The rest like the Pretenders and Dinoforce had US counterparts.

Exactly mi point. They've gone for the easy repaints and releases that also existed on this side of the pond, but have not taken the plunge to the actual figures that weren't around over here. The important ones.
Getting Metalhawk was great. Liokaiser was a decent attempt considering the CW combination scheme. Takara even released Great Shot from Six Shot as expected. But still no Star Saber. They seem to want to release these characters, just not taking the plunge on the ones that would require a new mold that may be hard to re-use.
But even then, Takara has done some retools unique to them, so why have they not actually tried Star Saber is beyond me.

After seeing the video for Tracks I am a bit let down. Tracks is one of my top 5 or 10 characters and has consistently had bad figures. So I had high hopes for this new one since had been nailing almost every figure perfect lately. He does have a great head/face, alt mode and a good robot mode; as long as he just stands there without anyone messing with him. But since I have my original G1 Tracks as him in my modern Generations collection, and this being the best Tracks so far, I will buy him.

I knew that, yet somehow my brain skipped over that fact. The principle remains somewhat the same however: characters with only Japan-exclusive molds aren't as likely to be made or be readily bought: "When did he appear in the cartoon/comics?"
Wouldn't mind TR Metalhawk though, or the whole Siege set minus Magnus and Pounce.
As for Star Saber not being done, just how well do swordsmen as robots sell here? I know in Japan they're a dime-a-dozen, but here I fear they may be viewed as Power Rangers knock-offs (if only they knew...)

Well it's not exactly the same now that I think of it. G1 comics, issue 12. When the Autobots are going to the swamp to get Prime's head, Huffer is towing Prime's body in truck mode, along with the trailer.Sabrblade wrote:Which one?Rodimus Prime wrote:He did it in the comics as well.Nexus Knight wrote:Huffer was designed to so that he can do that do that thing he did in one episode. Dracodon is a neon-green redco of the previously released Vertebreak, transforming from a robot to a skeletal Dracorex. It is worth noting that Dracodon is being released as a Maximal, whereas Vertebreak was a Predacon. The deco is the only change between these figures, as there is no new tooling. Dracodon is part of Kingdom's wave 3 assortment of core class figures, and will release later this summer alongside Soundwave.
The video review is embedded below for your viewing convenience. Check it out!
What do you think of Dracodon? Is the mew deco good enough to get you to double dip on this mold? Let us know in the Energon Pub forums!

There are parts of this that look good, but overall, not enough for me to get him.
I'm a little surprised they didn't make the sword fit under the vehicle pointed in the other direction...
Not that the handle looks that much like an exhaust pipe, but that's better than a random silver "fin" sticking out from the bottom.
And I get it, the trailer will cover that up when combined. But still... Seems a little odd.
Hot Rod/Rodimus even in the MP line has never had a face that suits the character. Give me something that's a little more "Jubliant."
But Rodimus Prime wasn't a very jubilant character...even in the end speech of the movie, he wasn’t that happy. Hot Rod was happy go lucky, rodimus has the world on his back
First episode of season 3, when he opened the galactic games? Ultra Magnus had to scold him a little.

Right??? How did the packaging designers not realize they were using a font that's missing special characters? The last language is portuguese, and the second to last one is spanish. The missing letter on both is "ú". It's driving me crazy, it HAS to be a problem with the font because it's like that on every package.

Emgo has mentioned it on a few of his videos. Some of the languages had a special character that didn't print for some reason on some of the package descriptions

A Japanese gamer was banned from the Apex Legend tournament for saying the word "run away" in Japanese: Nigero.
Like I said the activists and easily offended love to look for anything "offensive" everywhere to get power and clout. So the "censored" word on the side of the box could have been left like that on purpose to avoid any backlash from those idiots.
I sincerely hope that's not that and it's instead the usual laziness of including accents in non-english languages. We live in a society after all. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm sure Hasbro could have picked a font that recognized any character. As hard as it is to believe an oversight like that made it all the way to final product, I find it even harder to believe it was done purposefully.

The "ñ" character can also be typed by pressing the "Alt" key followed by "164" on the number pad, just in case anyone was curious haha

What you're proposing is patently ludicrous and absurd. "Núcleo" neither looks nor sounds anything like the word you're talking about. It probably is, as many have already said, just an oversight. The proof for this lies in the fact that the same error happened to the Leader class packages, which in spanish and portuguese would be "líder". A word which was properly spelt in the previous WFC lines.
On a less stupid and more graphic-design-interested note, this points to them having used a font that had no special characters, then just photoshopping the tildes in, right? Because the font hasn't changed from subline to subline.
