Prepare to be disappointed as it'll probably be had Worlds Collide Bumblebee mold redecoed gold with a recoloured Shattered Glass Goldbug head....
Actually it'll just be a redecoed Shattered Glass Goldbug

If you're asking about the source, there isn't really any straight from Hasbro. It's more a "the most likely" kind of thing given there are two main versions of the original BW Terrorsaur toy: the show-colored Takara variant, and the original release.

If it is that, it'll fit nicely with the World Collide Blackarachnia.

So far, all we have is the fact that a credible source of information posted a list of exclusives that specified a Target exclusive Toy deco Terrorsaur, and then a half-hour later the Terrorsaur listing in the article was found.Rodimus Prime wrote:Yeah I meant an actual official source. Donkey Kong 3 is an actual game if you must know:
Seriously though, DK-3 is the blue Trailbreaker based on a Diakron release. DK-1 is Spin-Out, and DK-2 is black Ironhide.

Based on repaints history, basically anything Hasbro wants it to be.

Has there ever been any example of an amazon exclusive getting a single release by another store?

Yeah, but that's not a 'single release' in the way he meant. He meant 'has there ever been a figure singly released from a pack on it's own from an Amazon exclusive with no redeco.'

No, that has never happened but that Punch Counterpunxh is a good example of the same exclusive having 2 separate releases with a minor difference in deco (ie, not being different enough to reference something dustinctive).

Maybe TR Repugnus and TR Grotusque? Single Amazon release, then part of a 2 pack by Takara. Did they had to he same deco?

1. I don't think that's ever happened before.Rodimus Prime wrote:That's what I'm saying, the listing says nothing about a redeco. What if it's just a straight rerelease of the Golden Disk figure by itself?
2. Selects Galvatron didn't have Toy Colors in it's listing either (it just said Selects as opposed to Kingdom, which is equivalent to saying Legacy/BB instead of Kingdom), and none of the Netflix guys mentioned being battle-damaged, but all those releases came that way anyway.
It was, yes.ZeroWolf wrote:william-james88 wrote:No, that has never happened but that Punch Counterpunxh is a good example of the same exclusive having 2 separate releases with a minor difference in deco (ie, not being different enough to reference something dustinctive).

They had different color screws and a different paint finish, according to the wiki, but that was pretty par for the course with Takara releases of Hasbro figures at the time. I don't know that that's comparable to what is being suggested here.sol magnus wrote:-Kanrabat- wrote:Maybe TR Repugnus and TR Grotusque? Single Amazon release, then part of a 2 pack by Takara. Think of it this way: Hasbro released Terrorsaur for Amazon to sell, and only Amazon. If they were to release the exact figure, sans an accessory or two, via a competitor to Amazon, they'd be shooting themselves in the foot; not just at the moment, but for any future business as well. Breach of company trust, you know?

My point: it has to be a different deco. Different deco, different product. If it was the same deco as the Amazon one, ergo the same product that they have exclusive rights to, that store could grow a hissy fit.

The Target version will most likely represent the toy released for the American and other markets with the spots.

Why? The 'black' doesn't connotate a race. I have no issue with "Black Convoy" although if they're going to change it, it would be "Nemesis Prime", not "Scourge".

Being PC doesn't start with companies using a certain word for whatever reason, but with the people using the word in a way that is meant to be offensive Besides AFAIK the Yu-Gi-Oh thing has more to do with Black Magic, which is taboo in certain religious circles.
*ahem* Sorry about that.
About the Salt-Man decos... which ones are gonna be used? Given the penchant for the Design Team to use TFWiki (and not look beyond), yellow and black for Twin Twist and either red and white or green and white for Topspin, despite more decos being documented.

Most of these are not exclusve to any one retailer but they will be predominantly sold online rather than in stores, as is the case with all Selects releases. If any of these turns out not to be a Selects release, then it can be exclusive.
